day_n into_o the_o first-day-sabbath_n for_o they_o say_v they_o do_v it_o because_o on_o the_o first_o day_n our_o lord_n jesus_n god-man_n rest_v from_o that_o more_o wonderful_a glorious_a gracious_a profitable_a and_o ravish_a work_n than_o that_o of_o the_o creation_n and_o more_o laborious_a and_o difficult_a work_n to_o himself_o be_v real_o and_o dreadful_o so_o to_o his_o humane_a nature_n but_o indeed_o this_o notion_n be_v a_o very_a strange_a and_o a_o uncouth_a one_o because_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o mediator_n in_o this_o sense_n can_v be_v think_v to_o be_v any_o other_o than_o a_o happy_a and_o complacential_a reflection_n upon_o the_o work_n of_o our_o redemption_n merit_v by_o all_o his_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n which_o can_v not_o be_v until_o he_o particular_a rite_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n more_o particular_o speak_v of_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n by_o the_o apostle_n towards_o its_o exclusion_n from_o the_o christian_a church_n than_o circumcision_n yet_o there_o be_v no_o express_a command_n against_o it_o that_o i_o know_v of_o and_o i_o assert_v that_o let_v he_o bring_v what_o argument_n he_o can_v from_o these_o epistle_n against_o it_o i_o will_v produce_v the_o same_o against_o the_o seventh-day-sabbath_n and_o so_o they_o must_v either_o stand_v or_o fall_v upon_o the_o same_o ground_n and_o so_o must_v the_o christ_n thereby_o and_o unworthy_o apply_v all_o this_o to_o the_o assertor_n of_o the_o lordsday_n but_o to_o this_o we_o have_v answer_v already_o and_o doubt_v not_o but_o to_o be_v as_o innocent_a in_o this_o respect_n as_o himself_o and_o this_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o all_o his_o answer_n to_o this_o argument_n for_o the_o first-day-sabbath_n but_o we_o must_v not_o so_o leave_v it_o but_o speak_v what_o i_o hope_v god_n will_v direct_v to_o the_o vindication_n of_o it_o and_o here_o we_o must_v know_v that_o this_o argument_n be_v not_o the_o solitary_a proof_n that_o we_o bring_v for_o the_o lords-day_n holy_a observation_n for_o than_o it_o may_v seem_v to_o carry_v no_o great_a weight_n with_o it_o but_o first_o we_o undertake_v to_o prove_v a_o abolition_n of_o the_o seven_o day_n from_o the_o word_n and_o then_o propose_v the_o first_o day_n as_o bid_v fair_o of_o all_o the_o other_o weekday_n for_o it_o because_o we_o acknowledge_v one_o day_n of_o the_o seven_o to_o be_v the_o substance_n of_o the_o four_o commandment_n and_o to_o be_v positive_o and_o secondary_o moral_a in_o it_o and_o that_o therefore_o there_o lie_v still_o a_o obligation_n upon_o all_o the_o church_n unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n to_o keep_v one_o day_n in_o seven_o holy_a unto_o the_o lord_n at_o least_o all_o who_o may_v have_v the_o command_v entire_o convey_v to_o they_o and_o due_o teach_v they_o for_o there_o may_v be_v a_o case_n of_o exemption_n in_o this_o particular_a as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o the_o progress_n and_o we_o say_v the_o seven_o day_n be_v cashier_v the_o first_o day_n ought_v to_o be_v its_o successor_n and_o that_o because_o of_o the_o glorious_a privilege_n of_o this_o day_n above_o all_o other_o of_o the_o week_n whereof_o this_o of_o our_o lord_n resurrection_n from_o the_o dead_a be_v chief_a because_o this_o be_v the_o day_n of_o god_n the_o redeemer_n enter_v into_o his_o rest_n and_o our_o argument_n and_o honour_n of_o god_n the_o creator_n for_o both_o be_v the_o same_o jehovah_n whereas_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o creator_n herein_o be_v not_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o redeemer_n for_o the_o redeemer_n be_v not_o when_o the_o creation_n be_v produce_v neither_o shall_v ever_o have_v be_v have_v the_o creation_n stand_v in_o that_o estate_n wherein_o god_n create_v it_o and_o

no_o other_o topick_n and_o therefore_o conclude_v that_o the_o general_a collection_n and_o so_o association_n of_o the_o galatian_a church_n be_v on_o the_o first_o day_n and_o the_o apostle_n
