and_o in_o the_o 15_o rev._n they_o sing_v it_o over_o again_o verse_n 2_o 3._o after_o their_o deliverance_n from_o their_o captivity_n the_o dog_n of_o the_o world_n they_o do_v move_v their_o tongue_n against_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n now_o but_o there_o be_v a_o time_n come_v that_o no_o dog_n shall_v move_v his_o tongue_n they_o shall_v be_v so_o convince_v of_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o old_a testament_n in_o a_o typical_a way_n be_v full_o make_v good_a and_o that_o visible_o it_o shall_v be_v visible_o and_o apparent_o to_o the_o world_n make_v good_a you_o will_v say_v what_o be_v those_o there_o be_v very_o many_o the_o lord_n speak_v very_o much_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o church_n when_o he_o have_v his_o church_n but_o among_o the_o jew_n but_o certain_o the_o way_n of_o god_n towards_o his_o church_n then_o be_v typical_a and_o god_n intend_v by_o his_o high_a expression_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o church_n then_o some_o other_o thing_n that_o shall_v be_v afterward_o make_v good_a in_o a_o more_o apparent_a and_o visible_a way_n as_o thus_o now_o you_o have_v these_o thing_n say_v of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o the_o old_a testament_n first_o treasure_n unto_o i_o above_o all_o people_n man_n make_v much_o of_o their_o treasure_n but_o especial_o treasure_n that_o be_v peculiar_a now_o the_o lord_n have_v another_o treasure_n beside_o god_n just_o as_o if_o a_o merchant_n shall_v be_v trade_v for_o divers_a sort_n of_o commodity_n perhaps_o he_o trade_v for_o clothes_n or_o lumber_v stuff_n there_o be_v some_o treasure_n there_o i_o but_o he_o trade_v for_o jewel_n and_o pearl_n beside_o and_o he_o have_v they_o lock_v up_o under_o divers_a lock_n and_o there_o he_o account_v all_o his_o treasure_n to_o be_v now_o i_o may_v compare_v all_o the_o good_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n
the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n be_v come_v and_o how_o he_o have_v overcome_v principality_n and_o power_n and_o how_o the_o devil_n have_v oppose_v he_o now_o we_o see_v the_o meaning_n of_o this_o prophecy_n and_o now_o we_o can_v bless_v god_n so_o much_o the_o more_o for_o christ_n christ_n be_v no_o other_o than_o the_o lord_n do_v in_o paradise_n former_o prophesy_v of_o and_o so_o divers_a the_o glorious_a state_n of_o the_o church_n when_o jerusalem_n shall_v be_v make_v as_o the_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n they_o be_v obscure_a to_o we_o yet_o but_o when_o it_o come_v to_o be_v make_v clear_a the_o saint_n of_o god_n will_v praise_v and_o bless_v god_n that_o now_o they_o come_v to_o enjoy_v that_o that_o so_o many_o year_n ago_o be_v prophesy_v of_o and_o therefore_o great_a confluence_n of_o people_n shall_v come_v into_o jerusalem_n it_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a city_n and_o then_o in_o the_o five_o place_n where_o there_o be_v multitude_n come_v in_o will_v there_o not_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o dross_n and_o filthiness_n it_o be_v usual_a that_o a_o church_n while_o it_o have_v but_o a_o few_o it_o may_v continue_v in_o some_o purity_n but_o let_v a_o church_n have_v many_o to_o join_v with_o it_o have_v but_o any_o considerable_a number_n it_o usual_o do_v quick_o corrupt_a there_o grow_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o soil_n and_o filthiness_n where_o there_o be_v a_o number_n join_v together_o but_o now_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o glory_n of_o this_o jerusalem_n that_o though_o it_o shall_v be_v very_o great_a there_o shall_v be_v a_o mighty_a confluence_n of_o people_n yet_o it_o shall_v abide_v in_o its_o purity_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o purity_n in_o the_o ordinance_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v and_o in_o the_o professor_n that_o shall_v join_v together_o and_o for_o that_o we_o have_v that_o prophecy_n in_o the_o 44._o of_o ezek._n verse_n 9_o which_o be_v a_o place_n by_o all_o divine_v understand_v of_o all_o have_v those_o that_o be_v hypocrite_n though_o it_o be_v true_a yet_o when_o man_n do_v some_o way_n or_o other_o discover_v themselves_o to_o be_v hypocrite_n they_o must_v not_o be_v receive_v into_o the_o church_n but_o now_o here_o be_v the_o question_n whether_o there_o shall_v be_v any_o but_o those_o that_o shall_v give_v such_o testimony_n of_o godliness_n as_o may_v promise_n have_v we_o in_o all_o the_o book_n of_o god_n that_o this_o have_v reference_n to_o i_o find_v all_o divine_n refer_v it_o to_o the_o 65._o of_o isa_n for_o you_o have_v no_o other_o scripture_n that_o you_o can_v refer_v this_o promise_n to_o in_o the_o 17._o vers_fw-la for_o behold_v i_o create_v new_a heaven_n and_o a_o new_a earth_n and_o the_o former_a shall_v not_o be_v remember_v nor_o come_v into_o mind_n but_o be_v you_o glad_a and_o rejoice_v for_o ever_o in_o that_o which_o i_o create_v for_o behold_v i_o create_v jerusalem_n a_o rejoice_v and_o her_o people_n that_o this_o scripture_n in_o peter_n though_o in_o some_o passage_n of_o it_o may_v seem_v to_o refer_v to_o the_o great_a day_n of_o judgement_n yet_o compare_v with_o isa_n out_o of_o which_o it_o be_v take_v it_o appear_v to_o be_v but_o a_o very_a comment_n upon_o my_o text_n and_o i_o find_v general_o interpreter_n do_v interpret_v this_o of_o isa_n to_o be_v mean_v of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n and_o so_o by_o compare_v one_o scripture_n with_o another_o we_o may_v find_v out_o much_o truth_n and_o beside_o the_o prophet_n do_v prophesy_v very_o little_a about_o the_o eternal_a life_n after_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n though_o something_o there_o be_v about_o it_o but_o very_o little_a in_o comparison_n and_o therefore_o we_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o reason_n to_o think_v it_o to_o be_v mean_v concern_v this_o time_n of_o this_o new_a jerusalem_n when_o god_n shall_v make_v it_o to_o be_v the_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n last_o this_o shall_v add_v to_o the_o beauty_n of_o this_o new_a jerusalem_n that_o prosperity_n shall_v do_v it_o no_o hurt_n and_o therefore_o as_o i_o remember_v in_o the_o 4_o the_o of_o the_o revelat._n the_o state_n of_o the_o church_n in_o this_o time_n be_v compare_v to_o a_o eagle_n there_o be_v four_o beast_n the_o first_o like_o a_o lion_n the_o second_o like_o a_o calf_n the_o three_o be_v like_o a_o man_n and_o the_o four_o be_v like_o a_o flying-eagle_n note_v the_o four_o state_n of_o the_o church_n and_o the_o last_o shall_v be_v as_o a_o eagle_n that_o be_v they_o shall_v be_v lift_v above_o all_o these_o outward_a thing_n at_o first_o when_o the_o church_n be_v raise_v from_o persecution_n in_o constantine_n time_n the_o history_n of_o those_o time_n tell_v we_o that_o there_o be_v a_o voice_n hear_v in_o the_o air_n to_o day_n be_v poison_n pour_v into_o the_o church_n it_o be_v at_o that_o time_n when_o constantine_n do_v endow_v the_o church_n with_o great_a endowment_n and_o we_o find_v it_o now_o that_o we_o have_v weak_a stomach_n and_o be_v not_o able_a to_o bear_v much_o prosperity_n and_o therefore_o god_n have_v think_v it_o rather_o fit_a to_o keep_v his_o church_n low_a but_o when_o that_o day_n come_v for_o jerusalem_n to_o be_v make_v the_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o fear_n of_o hurt_n from_o prosperity_n for_o christ_n shall_v be_v all_o in_o all_o to_o they_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o more_o immediate_a enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o that_o will_v keep_v they_o from_o take_v hurt_v by_o what_o they_o have_v in_o the_o creature_n now_o let_v we_o put_v all_o these_o together_o and_o see_v what_o a_o glorious_a condition_n the_o saint_n shall_v be_v in_o sure_o when_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v fulfil_v than_o you_o must_v needs_o say_v that_o jerusalem_n will_v be_v make_v a_o praise_n in_o the_o whole_a earth_n that_o be_v first_o when_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o resurrection_n a_o new_a creation_n a_o new_a world_n when_o all_o tear_n shall_v be_v wipe_v away_o when_o all_o wicked_a man_n shall_v be_v keep_v under_o when_o the_o church_n shall_v appear_v to_o be_v the_o pleasant_a portion_n of_o god_n his_o inheritance_n his_o dear_o belove_a his_o glory_n and_o when_o all_o promise_n that_o have_v be_v make_v to_o they_o and_o all_o prophecy_n of_o their_o glory_n shall_v be_v fulfil_v when_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o wonderful_a confluence_n of_o the_o nation_n jew_n and_o gentile_n to_o they_o and_o yet_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o purity_n in_o ordinance_n there_o shall_v not_o be_v filth_n among_o they_o as_o now_o there_o be_v and_o the_o gift_n and_o grace_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v mighty_o enlarge_v and_o raise_v when_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o glorious_a presence_n of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o jesus_n christ_n with_o they_o when_o godliness_n and_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v honour_v in_o the_o world_n as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v contemn_v when_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o bless_a union_n among_o all_o the_o church_n when_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o mighty_a change_n of_o the_o creature_n and_o when_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o fear_n of_o any_o danger_n of_o any_o hurt_n by_o any_o prosperity_n that_o they_o shall_v enjoy_v sure_o then_o will_v jerusalem_n be_v make_v a_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n therefore_o let_v the_o saint_n give_v the_o lord_n no_o rest_n until_o jerusalem_n be_v thus_o make_v as_o the_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n you_o will_v say_v be_v these_o thing_n so_o be_v unto_o i_o write_v bless_a be_v they_o which_o be_v call_v unto_o the_o marriage_n supper_n of_o the_o lamb._n and_o he_o say_v unto_o i_o these_o be_v the_o true_a say_n of_o god_n be_v there_o any_o year_n 1666._o but_o there_o be_v another_o computation_n of_o those_o that_o think_v antichrist_n do_v not_o begin_v to_o reign_v so_o soon_o and_o they_o conceive_v it_o will_v be_v a_o matter_n of_o two_o hundred_o or_o more_o year_n before_o the_o begin_n of_o these_o time_n but_o i_o think_v god_n have_v not_o leave_v it_o full_o clear_a to_o determine_v about_o the_o time_n only_o this_o god_n by_o his_o strange_a kind_n of_o work_n among_o we_o do_v seem_v as_o if_o he_o be_v hasten_v of_o the_o time_n as_o if_o it_o be_v near_o at_o hand_n wherefore_o then_o we_o leave_v all_o uncertainty_n and_o come_v to_o show_v you_o what_o use_v you_o be_v to_o make_v of_o what_o have_v be_v say_v about_o this_o time_n of_o jerusalem_n be_v make_v the_o praise_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n use_v the_o first_o be_v the_o consideration_n of_o this_o that_o god_n have_v his_o time_n to_o bring_v his_o church_n to_o be_v in_o such_o a_o glorious_a condition_n here_o in_o this_o world_n this_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a incitement_n to_o we_o all_o to_o come_v in_o and_o embrace_v jesus_n christ_n to_o be_v godly_a why_o because_o the_o lord_n intend_v to_o glorify_v himself_o that_o time_n however_o when_o we_o do_v but_o think_v that_o there_o be_v a_o time_n that_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v be_v honour_v in_o the_o world_n and_o godliness_n shall_v be_v have_v in_o high_a esteem_n in_o the_o world_n it_o be_v a_o mighty_a argument_n to_o cause_n man_n and_o woman_n to_o come_v in_o and_o embrace_v religion_n but_o if_o it_o shall_v prove_v to_o be_v in_o your_o day_n as_o nothing_o appear_v to_o the_o contrary_a but_o many_o probability_n there_o be_v for_o it_o it_o will_v go_v very_o hard_o with_o you_o if_o so_o be_v these_o time_n shall_v come_v upon_o you_o unaware_o and_o you_o not_o find_v to_o be_v godly_a for_o the_o scripture_n speak_v most_o dreadful_o against_o those_o that_o have_v live_v in_o the_o place_n where_o christian_a religion_n have_v be_v know_v and_o yet_o have_v be_v naught_o and_o ungodly_a and_o these_o time_n find_v they_o so_o after_o these_o time_n be_v describe_v to_o john_n in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n then_o say_v he_o in_o the_o 21_o chap._n 8._o vers_fw-la but_o the_o fearful_a and_o vnbelieve_v and_o the_o abominable_a and_o murderer_n and_o whoremonger_n and_o sorcerer_n and_o idolater_n and_o all_o liar_n shall_v have_v their_o part_n in_o the_o lake_n which_o burn_v with_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n which_o be_v the_o second_o death_n mark_v the_o very_a fearful_a and_o vnbelieving_a and_o i_o take_v it_o the_o reason_n why_o the_o fearful_a and_o vnbelieve_a be_v here_o place_v among_o these_o notorious_a sinner_n it_o be_v because_o that_o in_o the_o time_n that_o antichrist_n shall_v prevail_v many_o out_o of_o fear_n of_o trouble_n and_o danger_n shall_v deny_v the_o truth_n and_o cleave_v to_o the_o antichristian_a party_n and_o because_o they_o see_v thing_n go_v very_o hardly_o with_o the_o godly_a party_n they_o will_v forsake_v they_o through_o their_o unbelief_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v reckon_v in_o among_o the_o notorious_a vile_a sinner_n and_o the_o rather_o because_o that_o a_o little_a before_o this_o time_n shall_v come_v ☞_o there_o will_v be_v a_o great_a trial_n and_o hour_n of_o temptation_n man_n will_v be_v put_v to_o it_o to_o be_v
