complete_a essence_n of_o a_o true_a visible_a church_n yet_o every_o such_o congregation_n be_v not_o a_o complete_a ecclesiastical_a republic_n except_o in_o some_o certain_a case_n whereof_o we_o have_v speak_v chap._n 2._o and_o further_o we_o answer_v that_o this_o objection_n be_v allege_v to_o prove_v that_o 2_o or_o 3_o gather_v together_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n have_v immediate_o under_o christ_n the_o full_a power_n of_o ecclesiastical_a jurisdiction_n but_o sure_o i_o be_o that_o two_o or_o three_o gather_v together_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n be_v not_o a_o complete_a ecclesiastical_a body_n have_v all_o the_o member_n and_o officer_n which_o christ_n have_v institute_v for_o they_o themselves_o hold_v that_o in_o every_o christian_a congregation_n by_o christ_n institution_n there_o ought_v to_o be_v at_o least_o five_o officer_n and_o when_o those_o five_o shall_v be_v have_v there_o must_v be_v also_o a_o certain_a number_n of_o christian_a people_n to_o be_v govern_v and_o serve_v by_o they_o so_o that_o their_o argument_n do_v not_o conclude_v that_o which_o they_o propose_v to_o prove_v ibid._n object_n they_o who_o have_v receive_v christ_n have_v receive_v with_o he_o power_n and_o right_a to_o enjoy_v he_o though_o all_o the_o world_n be_v against_o it_o in_o all_o the_o mean_n and_o ordinance_n by_o which_o he_o do_v communicate_v himself_o unto_o the_o church_n but_o every_o company_n of_o faithful_a people_n if_o they_o be_v but_o two_o or_o three_o have_v receive_v christ_n therefore_o every_o such_o company_n etc._n etc._n answ._n if_o by_o the_o receive_n of_o christ_n they_o mean_v the_o receive_n of_o christ_n on_o his_o throne_n or_o the_o receive_n of_o he_o in_o his_o ordinance_n of_o church_n government_n than_o we_o deny_v their_o assumption_n for_o every_o company_n of_o faithful_a people_n be_v not_o a_o church_n political_o as_o we_o have_v show_v already_o indeed_o every_o company_n of_o faithful_a people_n who_o have_v receive_v christ_n in_o this_o manner_n have_v right_a and_o title_n to_o enjoy_v he_o in_o all_o his_o political_a ordinance_n yet_o not_o independent_o but_o by_o a_o certain_a order_n and_o subordination_n but_o if_o by_o the_o receive_n of_o christ_n they_o mean_v receive_v of_o he_o to_o salvation_n or_o receive_v of_o he_o by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n we_o grant_v that_o not_o only_o every_o company_n of_o faithful_a people_n but_o every_o particular_a christian_a have_v right_a and_o title_n to_o enjoy_v he_o in_o the_o mystical_a ordinance_n of_o the_o word_n prayer_n etc._n etc._n as_o often_o as_o the_o same_o can_v be_v have_v yea_o further_o have_v right_a and_o title_n to_o the_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n of_o ecclesiastical_a jurisdicton_n the_o exercise_n whereof_o be_v commit_v by_o christ_n to_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o church_n intuitu_fw-la ecclesiae_fw-la tanquam_fw-la finis_fw-la but_o that_o every_o company_n of_o faithful_a people_n
