truth_n that_o it_o shall_v never_o fail_v nor_o decay_v in_o the_o world_n much_o rather_o when_o it_o have_v the_o assistance_n of_o the_o scripture_n in_o some_o part_n be_v the_o church_n able_a to_o maintain_v a_o other_o part_n of_o truth_n without_o the_o scripture_n after_o this_o manner_n the_o papist_n reason_n out_o of_o this_o text_n to_o prove_v that_o all_o truth_n be_v not_o contain_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n but_o this_o be_v a_o very_a feeble_a kind_n of_o reason_v for_o grant_v that_o the_o church_n be_v y_z e_z pillar_n and_o the_o stay_n of_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o deed_n it_o follow_v not_o thereof_o that_o it_o uphold_v any_o truth_n which_o be_v not_o comprehend_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n but_o contrariwise_o see_v it_o have_v be_v plentiful_o prove_v that_o all_o true_a doctrine_n be_v teach_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n even_o to_o the_o perfection_n of_o the_o man_n of_o god_n it_o follow_v that_o the_o church_n be_v the_o pillar_n and_o stay_n of_o that_o true_a doctrine_n which_o be_v teach_v in_o the_o scripture_n and_o not_o of_o any_o truth_n beside_o the_o scripture_n for_o when_o all_o truth_n be_v teach_v in_o the_o scripture_n it_o follow_v that_o whatsoever_o be_v not_o teach_v in_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o truth_n but_o if_o this_o be_v y_z e_z proper_a note_n of_o y_fw-fr e_o church_n to_o be_v the_o make_v a_o man_n wise_a unto_o salvation_n but_o admit_v it_o be_v grant_v that_o the_o church_n can_v err_v at_o all_o what_o shall_v that_o avail_v the_o papist_n very_o nothing_o but_o to_o prove_v that_o they_o be_v not_o the_o church_n for_o if_o this_o be_v a_o proper_a &_o inseparable_a note_n of_o the_o church_n that_o it_o can_v err_v what_o company_n soever_o do_v err_v be_v not_o the_o manifest_a that_o this_o which_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o pillar_n and_o stay_n of_o the_o truth_n be_v mean_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o pastor_n and_o teacher_n of_o the_o church_n by_o who_o the_o truth_n of_o heavenly_a doctrine_n be_v uphold_v and_o continue_v in_o the_o world_n which_o without_o their_o ministry_n will_v utter_o fall_v to_o the_o ground_n and_o decay_n for_o even_o as_o he_o write_v to_o the_o roman_n 10._o see_v faith_n come_v by_o hear_v of_o god_n word_n of_o they_o that_o be_v send_v of_o faith_n come_v invocation_n and_o from_o thence_o salvation_n if_o none_o be_v send_v there_o can_v be_v no_o preach_v no_o hear_n no_o faith_n no_o innocation_n no_o salvation_n so_o the_o church_n of_o the_o live_a god_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o faithful_a minister_n of_o the_o same_o which_o teach_v the_o truth_n to_o the_o salvation_n of_o god_n people_n 4._o in_o which_o respect_n they_o be_v say_v to_o save_v themselves_o and_o they_o that_o hear_v they_o be_v right_o call_v the_o pillar_n and_o stay_n of_o truth_n which_o ministry_n if_o it_o be_v take_v away_o the_o truth_n also_o be_v take_v away_o even_o as_o the_o remove_n of_o the_o candlestick_n in_o the_o revelation_n signify_v the_o overthrow_n of_o the_o church_n of_o ephesus_n 2._o unto_o who_o it_o be_v threaten_v if_o they_o do_v not_o repent_v the_o candlestick_n which_o signify_v the_o any_o matter_n or_o that_o the_o determination_n of_o y_fw-fr e_o church_n without_o the_o scripture_n be_v a_o sufficient_a testimony_n of_o god_n word_n or_o of_o the_o truth_n in_o any_o cause_n as_o the_o papist_n maintain_v for_o paul_n instruct_v timothy_n by_o writing_n how_o he_o ought_v to_o behave_v himself_o in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o pillar_n &_o stay_n of_o
