very_a common_a and_o current_a first_o natural_a and_o civil_a and_o divine_a and_o religious_a and_o these_o again_o proper_o divine_a or_o improper_o supreme_a and_o inferior_a direct_v and_o indirect_a absolute_a and_o relative_n ultimate_a and_o subalternate_a or_o subordinate_a mediate_v and_o immediate_a for_o it_o be_v own_o sake_n or_o for_o another_o sake_n again_o for_o its_o own_o sake_n which_o we_o worship_v as_o a_o thing_n in_o itself_o or_o as_o a_o representation_n of_o another_o all_o these_o but_o these_o be_v not_o all_o to_o be_v find_v in_o learned_a author_n book_n to_o rectify_v the_o world_n error_n in_o its_o religion_n and_o beside_o these_o more_o may_v be_v find_v concern_v the_o object_n but_o this_o one_o shall_v i_o only_a name_n which_o be_v their_o strong_a hold_n and_o refuge_n that_o to_o secure_v they_o from_o all_o assaul_n of_o adversary_n this_o to_o receive_v they_o when_o they_o shall_v by_o strong_a hand_n at_o any_o time_n be_v beat_v at_o the_o most_o and_o not_o formal_a see_v we_o believe_v that_o to_o be_v very_a god_n which_o we_o so_o adore_v and_o material_a idolatry_n with_o such_o circumstance_n we_o must_v suppose_v be_v one_o of_o the_o least_o sin_n that_o we_o can_v be_v subject_a to_o thus_o have_v some_o discourse_v to_o i_o though_o it_o be_v well_o know_v some_o other_o of_o they_o as_o costerus_n do_v acknowledge_v that_o if_o enchirid_a costerus_n enchirid_a catholic_n miss_v their_o mark_n and_o that_o be_v not_o real_o god_n which_o they_o with_o divine_a worship_n adore_v in_o the_o sacrament_n they_o be_v gross_a idolater_n of_o this_o we_o shall_v speak_v more_o by_o and_o by_o now_o be_v we_o to_o consider_v first_o of_o the_o first_o sort_n of_o distinction_n to_o pass_v over_o all_o which_o by_o a_o particular_a examination_n will_v be_v too_o tedious_a a_o task_n for_o myself_o and_o reader_n too_o i_o shall_v therefore_o only_o examine_v the_o most_o reasonable_a and_o comprehensive_a of_o they_o and_o they_o i_o take_v to_o be_v that_o of_o worship_n civil_a and_o divine_a and_o of_o absolute_a and_o relative_n not_o omit_v altogether_o other_o and_o to_o understand_v clear_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o divine_a worship_n we_o be_v to_o inquire_v whether_o the_o act_n make_v the_o worship_n or_o the_o object_n for_o all_o worship_n as_o other_o act_n moral_a take_v it_o specification_n from_o the_o object_n as_o philosopher_n say_v then_o unless_o the_o object_n be_v divine_a or_o god_n himself_o can_v the_o worship_n be_v divine_a and_o so_o by_o consequence_n a_o man_n can_v give_v divine_a worship_n though_o he_o will_v never_o so_o fain_o unto_o a_o object_n not_o divine_a and_o so_o can_v though_o he_o will_v commit_v idolatry_n because_o the_o worship_n itself_o be_v not_o divine_a but_o much_o inferior_a because_o the_o object_n be_v such_o which_o constitute_v not_o divine_a worship_n be_v some_o creature_n but_o if_o the_o act_n in_o its_o own_o nature_n be_v intrinsical_o divine_a it_o will_v be_v know_v what_o be_v that_o which_o make_v it_o so_o for_o they_o say_v all_o act_n external_a be_v equivocal_a and_o dubious_a in_o themselves_o and_o indifferent_a to_o civil_a religious_a inseriour_a or_o supreme_a worship_n and_o that_o nothing_o can_v be_v conclude_v from_o thence_o idolatrous_a for_o we_o bow_v the_o
