whole_o perish_v though_o the_o defect_n in_o moral_n be_v never_o so_o notorious_a if_o we_o speak_v of_o the_o subject_n under_o that_o notion_n and_o of_o truth_n as_o attribute_v thereunto_o in_o its_o physical_a acceptation_n a_o thief_n be_v doubtless_o a_o true_a man_n as_o well_o as_o true_o a_o man_n if_o we_o speak_v of_o a_o thief_n quatenus_fw-la homo_fw-la as_o a_o man_n and_o not_o as_o a_o good_a or_o bad_a man_n moral_o true_a or_o false_a thus_o also_o the_o church_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v as_o well_o a_o true_a as_o true_o a_o church_n of_o christ_n while_o its_o essential_o remain_v in_o it_o and_o it_o have_v not_o yet_o lose_v its_o natural_a be_v be_v it_o never_o so_o corrupt_a in_o moral_a concernment_n or_o never_o so_o much_o to_o be_v censure_v or_o condemn_v in_o any_o such_o respect_n for_o if_o the_o church_n have_v its_o ens_fw-la it_o must_v be_v allow_v its_o verum_fw-la also_o 3._o but_o it_o appear_v that_o the_o question_n carry_v the_o weak_a term_n viz._n true_o as_o that_o which_o be_v likely_a to_o be_v yield_v unto_o by_o such_o as_o be_v likely_a to_o dissent_v upon_o the_o whole_a whereby_o it_o easy_o question_n the_o term_n ecclesia_fw-la aequivoca_fw-la and_o ecclesia_fw-la presumptiva_fw-la which_o be_v wont_a to_o perplex_v this_o controversy_n to_o both_o of_o which_o this_o verè_fw-la ecclesia_fw-la or_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o church_n be_v in_o itself_o stand_v in_o as_o evident_a as_o direct_v opposition_n for_o the_o aequivocal_a church_n in_o the_o sense_n of_o most_o of_o those_o that_o dissent_v from_o i_o have_v no_o truth_n of_o be_v at_o all_o and_o the_o presume_a church_n depend_v upon_o the_o charity_n of_o the_o mind_n of_o those_o that_o consider_v it_o and_o have_v not_o that_o be_v that_o be_v to_o be_v certain_o know_v and_o consider_v by_o we_o as_o it_o be_v here_o in_o question_n but_o more_o plain_o 1._o the_o evasion_n of_o ecclesia_fw-la presumptiva_fw-la be_v thus_o anticipate_v whether_o it_o import_v the_o visible_a or_o invisible_a church_n 1._o if_o by_o this_o presume_a church_n be_v mean_v the_o visible_a which_o in_o favour_n and_o charity_n we_o presume_v to_o be_v a_o church_n as_o spalatensis_n and_o after_o he_o davenant_n seem_v to_o some_o to_o imply_v though_o we_o know_v not_o who_o be_v true_a member_n thereof_o because_o we_o know_v not_o church_n of_o christ_n though_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v one_o member_n in_o it_o for_o a_o time_n save_o qualify_v though_o it_o be_v still_o grant_v that_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o grace_n the_o de_fw-fr ecclesia_fw-la flourish_v but_o that_o there_o be_v some_o therein_o that_o be_v true_a believer_n yet_o none_o can_v construe_v maximè_fw-la probabile_fw-la impossible_a to_o be_v otherwise_o and_o if_o it_o be_v most_o probable_a it_o be_v not_o necessary_a and_o then_o the_o be_v of_o the_o church_n depend_v not_o thereon_o but_o it_o may_v be_v without_o it_o for_o he_o that_o say_v any_o thing_n be_v most_o likely_a to_o be_v even_o thereby_o intimate_v that_o that_o thing_n be_v not_o certain_a to_o be_v and_o then_o it_o may_v not_o be_v and_o that_o be_v all_o i_o query_n for_o neither_o can_v those_o word_n of_o god_n to_o paul_n for_o i_o have_v much_o people_n in_o this_o city_n enforce_v any_o such_o thing_n though_o we_o grant_v that_o much_o people_n to_o be_v the_o elect_n for_o 1._o these_o word_n carry_v extraordinary_a encouragement_n against_o the_o 10_o vid._n act._n 18._o 9_o 10_o extraordinary_a trial_n which_o that_o city_n have_v for_o paul_n and_o therefore_o will_v conclude_v only_o that_o in_o the_o like_a case_n where_o a_o minister_n be_v call_v to_o much_o suffering_n he_o shall_v be_v a_o instrument_n of_o grace_n to_o much_o
