unbelief_n and_o ingratitude_n and_o yet_o not_o move_v to_o fear_v he_o will_v they_o not_o be_v draw_v then_o from_o their_o deceive_a vanity_n will_v they_o rather_o then_o for_o less_o than_o a_o apple_n or_o a_o mess_n of_o pottage_n disclaim_v their_o birthright_n and_o loose_v that_o kingdom_n and_o crown_n so_o dear_o purchase_v for_o the_o faithful_a nay_o be_v the_o loss_n of_o it_o all_o it_o be_v not_o so_o horrible_a if_o a_o man_n miss_v of_o the_o good_a promise_v can_v avoid_v the_o danger_n threaten_v it_o will_v something_o mitigate_v the_o despair_a conscience_n and_o ease_v the_o trouble_a mind_n if_o after_o death_n there_o be_v neither_o life_n nor_o death_n if_o a_o man_n may_v have_v no_o bâ—eing_v nor_o feel_v or_o endure_v torment_n though_o he_o have_v no_o comfort_n it_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o ease_n to_o the_o carnal_a mind_n that_o know_v no_o other_o heaven_n than_o the_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n nor_o fear_v other_o hell_n than_o the_o misery_n penury_n and_o affliction_n of_o the_o same_o but_o the_o case_n be_v otherwise_o they_o that_o miss_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n by_o not_o believe_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n by_o not_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o direction_n in_o the_o course_n of_o their_o life_n may_v assure_v themselves_o though_o they_o seem_v not_o yet_o to_o believe_v it_o that_o there_o remain_v for_o they_o and_o attend_v they_o the_o god_n of_o darkness_n and_o the_o angel_n of_o horror_n and_o torment_n and_o therefore_o they_o that_o be_v wise_a in_o christ_n enlighten_v with_o the_o sanctify_a spirit_n of_o god_n observe_v the_o difference_n between_o sin_n and_o sanctity_n between_o the_o carnal_a and_o the_o spiritual_a between_o the_o old_a and_o the_o new_a man_n and_o find_v that_o the_o please_a vanity_n of_o this_o life_n and_o the_o rejoice_v of_o the_o worldly_a mind_a have_v no_o solid_a or_o sound_a assurance_n of_o continuance_n no_o not_o for_o a_o day_n and_o after_o come_v the_o severity_n of_o judgement_n but_o the_o spiritual_a man_n undergo_n with_o patience_n the_o bitter_a misery_n incident_a to_o a_o religious_a and_o godly_a life_n consider_v that_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o be_v but_o a_o span_n long_o and_o there_o attend_v he_o mercy_n and_o consolation_n perpetual_a christian._n and_o therefore_o bear_v he_o the_o yoke_n without_o grudge_v spend_v his_o time_n not_o in_o wantonness_n and_o chamber_a not_o in_o vanity_n and_o carnal_a pleasure_n but_o in_o all_o temperance_n and_o humbleness_n of_o mind_n never_o so_o cheer_v never_o so_o full_a of_o consolation_n and_o alacrity_n as_o when_o he_o be_v hear_v god_n speak_v unto_o he_o by_o his_o word_n as_o by_o preach_v or_o hear_v of_o the_o same_o and_o find_v himself_o true_o and_o apt_o prepare_v and_o zealous_o exercise_v in_o the_o most_o holy_a duty_n of_o prayer_n and_o heavenly_a meditation_n wherein_o he_o speak_v unto_o god_n this_o be_v his_o comfort_n herein_o be_v his_o joy_n and_o nothing_o be_v so_o sweet_a unto_o he_o as_o heavenly_a continual_a contemplation_n whereby_o he_o pass_v by_o both_o the_o pleasure_n and_o penury_n of_o this_o life_n as_o thing_n of_o that_o weakness_n to_o move_v love_n to_o the_o one_o or_o fear_v of_o the_o other_o as_o he_o respect_v they_o not_o but_o place_v all_o his_o affection_n on_o god_n with_o who_o he_o
