from_o that_o religion_n which_o upon_o so_o good_a evidence_n they_o have_v before_o acknowledge_v be_v to_o their_o own_o ruin_n and_o destruction_n ver_fw-la 38._o but_o although_o this_o total_a apostasy_n and_o abrenunciation_n of_o christianity_n itself_o when_o it_o be_v wilful_o commit_v be_v thus_o remediless_a and_o desperate_a a_o sin_n yet_o be_v that_o nothing_o to_o the_o breach_n of_o any_o particular_a law_n or_o to_o the_o wilful_a transgression_n of_o any_o baptize_v man_n so_o long_o as_o he_o still_o continue_v christian._n for_o all_o his_o sin_n of_o one_o sort_n or_o other_o have_v the_o salvo_fw-la of_o repentance_n provide_v for_o they_o and_o if_o he_o do_v but_o once_o reform_v and_o amend_v they_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v condemn_v for_o they_o and_o thus_o without_o return_v 3._o as_o i_o say_v to_o prove_v again_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o faith_n to_o they_o who_o be_v fall_v from_o it_o which_o indeed_o be_v a_o very_a vain_a and_o fruitless_a undertake_n 4._o for_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o those_o who_o be_v once_o enlighten_v or_o 〈◊〉_d baptize_v and_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 5._o and_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o good_a word_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n or_o the_o world_n to_o come_v 6._o if_o after_o all_o this_o they_o shall_v wilful_o fall_v away_o from_o this_o faith_n it_o be_v impossible_a for_o they_o i_o say_v to_o be_v recover_v or_o for_o we_o by_o any_o endeavour_n of_o we_o to_o renew_v they_o again_o unto_o the_o grace_n and_o covenant_n of_o repentance_n because_o god_n be_v irreconcilable_o provoke_v by_o this_o revolt_n see_v thereby_o they_o crucify_v to_o themselves_o the_o son_n of_o god_n afresh_o and_o put_v he_o once_o again_o to_o a_o open_a shame_n here_o indeed_o the_o case_n be_v as_o desperate_a as_o it_o be_v before_o and_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n why_o it_o shall_v because_o the_o sin_n be_v the_o very_a same_o for_o it_o be_v nothing_o less_o than_o a_o universal_a backslide_n a_o apostasy_n both_o in_o faith_n and_o manner_n a_o renounce_n of_o all_o the_o religion_n and_o law_n of_o christ_n whereof_o all_o these_o severe_a thing_n be_v speak_v as_o for_o the_o word_n 〈◊〉_d which_o be_v here_o put_v to_o note_v this_o fall_v away_o it_o signify_v for_o the_o most_o part_n a_o fall_n which_o admit_v of_o a_o rise_v again_o and_o be_v recoverable_a but_o sometime_o it_o denote_v a_o fall_n that_o be_v desperate_a and_o beyond_o all_o hope_n of_o remedy_n thus_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o the_o incredulous_a jew_n to_o who_o the_o religion_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o stumble_a block_n and_o a_o rock_n of_o offence_n distinguish_v betwixt_o these_o two_o church_n to_o signify_v the_o baptize_v from_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n and_o the_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n which_o be_v such_o privilege_n and_o
