as_o a_o special_a consolation_n and_o comfort_n that_o we_o have_v a_o mediator_n in_o heaven_n even_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v our_o advocate_n and_o patron_n to_o purchase_v peace_n for_o we_o and_o to_o make_v a_o atonement_n between_o his_o father_n and_o us._n in_o which_o consolation_n and_o comfort_n notwithstanding_o mercy_n all_o faithful_a christian_n ought_v to_o have_v this_o caution_n not_o so_o to_o trust_v in_o god_n mercy_n that_o they_o either_o fall_v into_o presumption_n or_o to_o live_v negligent_o and_o carnal_o or_o not_o gospel_n like_o for_o there_o be_v many_o now_o a_o day_n that_o flatter_v and_o deceive_v themselves_o while_o they_o greedy_o embrace_v all_o such_o sentence_n in_o the_o bible_n which_o set_v out_o god_n great_a mercy_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n neglect_n and_o pass_v over_o light_o such_o place_n as_o exhort_v they_o to_o newness_n and_o holiness_n of_o life_n the_o lord_n be_v merciful_a in_o deed_n but_o to_o those_o that_o repent_v the_o lord_n will_v not_o the_o death_n of_o a_o sinner_n but_o he_o will_v also_o that_o he_o shall_v convert_v and_o live_v he_o that_o witness_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o lamb_n that_o take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n do_v also_o will_v we_o to_o repent_v our_o former_a life_n and_o to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n worthy_a repentance_n he_o that_o affirm_v we_o to_o be_v save_v through_o the_o grace_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n exhort_v we_o also_o to_o repent_v &_o convert_v that_o our_o sin_n may_v be_v do_v away_o he_o that_o say_v that_o christ_n faith_n with_o bare_a word_n but_o let_v we_o repent_v true_o and_o from_o the_o bottom_n of_o our_o heart_n let_v we_o turn_v to_o god_o in_o d●ede_n and_o correct_v vice_n with_o virtue_n and_o with_o holy_a life_n and_o conversation_n abolish_a the_o remembrance_n of_o our_o sin_n &_o iniquity_n let_v those_o word_n of_o christ_n be_v always_o in_o our_o mind_n not_o every_o one_o that_o say_v lord_n lord_n shall_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n but_o he_o that_o do_v the_o will_n of_o my_o father_n who_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o if_o we_o believe_v that_o which_o adulterer_n 6._o fornicator_n murderer_n thief_n extortioner_n covetous_a person_n proud_a man_n drunkard_n 20._o backbiter_n contentious_a man_n shall_v not_o inherytte_a the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o sure_o if_o we_o persuade_v ourself_o that_o saint_n paul_n say_v true_a aswell_o in_o the_o one_o place_n as_o in_o the_o other_o we_o shall_v easy_o perceive_v that_o wicked_a liver_n can_v conceive_v any_o hope_n of_o god_n mercy_n and_o of_o eternal_a life_n for_o as_o faith_n believe_v that_o god_n be_v merciful_a to_o the_o penitent_a so_o do_v it_o tell_v we_o that_o he_o be_v a_o punysher_n of_o the_o impenitent_a there_o be_v no_o cause_n then_o for_o sinful_a man_n to_o presume_v on_o god_n mercy_n they_o must_v repent_v and_o amend_v their_o life_n before_o they_o take_v comfort_n of_o that_o matter_n ambrose_n have_v include_v they_o both_o ambr._n in_o one_o sentence_n while_o that_o he_o say_v noman_n can_v right_o repent_v unless_o he_o trust_v in_o indignation_n come_v down_o upon_o sinner_n make_v no_o tarry_n to_o turn_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o put_v not_o off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n for_o sudden_o shall_v his_o wrath_n come_v and_o in_o the_o time_n of_o vengeance_n he_o shall_v destroy_v thou_o let_v every_o man_n therefore_o have_v good_a regard_n for_o himself_o that_o his_o christian_a profession_n be_v confirm_v with_o
