peter_n that_o the_o prophet_n speak_v of_o a_o much_o more_o excellent_a thing_n then_o at_o the_o first_o sight_n their_o word_n seem_v to_o import_v unto_o man_n which_o be_v not_o well_o see_v that_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a kingdom_n for_o they_o attribute_v such_o great_a thing_n unto_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n as_o be_v not_o to_o be_v find_v in_o any_o earthly_a kingdom_n as_o in_o that_o they_o say_v that_o the_o king_n of_o this_o kingdom_n shall_v be_v poor_a and_o contemn_v in_o this_o world_n and_o shall_v teach_v suffer_v die_v and_o be_v bury_v and_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o by_o this_o mean_n become_v a_o great_a and_o victorious_a prince_n over_o sin_n death_n and_o satan_n and_o reign_v a_o king_n for_o ever_o but_o what_o a_o upon_o thy_o wall_n oh_o jerusalem_n 62.6_o which_o all_o the_o day_n and_o all_o the_o night_n continual_o shall_v not_o cease_v you_o that_o be_v mindful_a of_o the_o lord_n keep_v you_o silence_n evil_a favour_v and_o horrible_a image_n of_o the_o old_a adam_n now_o you_o have_v hear_v what_o christ_n teach_v his_o two_o disciple_n and_o without_o doubt_n the_o apostle_n afterward_o teach_v all_o in_o vain_a for_o where_o be_v now_o nero_n and_o domitian_n those_o mighty_a &_o outrageous_a enemy_n of_o the_o church_n &_o those_o gentile_n which_o have_v persecute_v so_o many_o of_o the_o godly_a you_o see_v that_o which_o zac._n say_v here_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v daily_o fulfil_v and_o note_v that_o the_o prophet_n here_o describe_v the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n to_o be_v a_o kingdom_n which_o lie_v in_o this_o world_n under_o the_o cross_n it_o be_v not_o therefore_o a_o worldly_a kingdom_n for_o than_o shall_v it_o in_o the_o world_n be_v magnify_v and_o have_v great_a wealth_n pomp_n power_n and_o majesty_n and_o defend_v itself_o with_o strength_n of_o arm_n and_o armour_n as_o other_o do_v but_o the_o lord_n only_o be_v her_o fortitude_n 12.4_o tower_n fortress_n and_o bulwark_n as_o it_o follow_v i_o will_v open_v or_o set_v my_o eye_n upon_o jerusalem_n that_o be_v i_o will_v keep_v the_o apostle_n and_o faithful_a christian_n which_o shall_v be_v after_o they_o even_o as_o a_o father_n still_o in_o my_o sight_n will_v i_o keep_v they_o and_o i_o will_v be_v with_o they_o in_o all_o necessity_n i_o will_v blind_v &_o fatuate_a their_o persecutor_n so_o that_o all_o their_o counsel_n against_o the_o godly_a shall_v be_v quite_o frustrate_a the_o world_n shall_v show_v all_o her_o suttilty_n and_o power_n against_o the_o poor_a church_n of_o christ_n but_o faithful_a christian_n shall_v not_o take_v up_o to_o they_o corporal_a armour_n against_o their_o enemy_n but_o the_o apostle_n and_o doctor_n shall_v comfort_v themselves_o and_o other_o under_o the_o cross_n with_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o sweet_a promise_n of_o christ_n jesus_n our_o lord_n for_o christ_n sake_n they_o shall_v both_o willing_o and_o cheerful_o bear_v the_o cross_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v content_a with_o it_o for_o the_o comforter_n chap._n the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v conserve_v and_o comfort_v they_o by_o his_o word_n and_o this_o consolation_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o juda_n that_o be_v of_o the_o doctor_n and_o teacher_n shall_v be_v of_o such_o effect_n that_o even_o like_a unto_o fire_n they_o shall_v with_o the_o wood_n burn_v and_o devour_v many_o which_o be_v about_o they_o and_o they_o shall_v convert_v many_o persecutor_n and_o gentile_n and_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n and_o although_o all_o nation_n set_v themselves_o against_o jerusalem_n yet_o shall_v that_o heavenly_a jerusalem_n the_o church_n still_o abide_v where_o it_o be_v &_o become_v most_o populous_a but_o he_o say_v in_o his_o place_n to_o signify_v thereby_o that_o he_o speak_v not_o of_o the_o corporal_a jerusalem_n but_o of_o the_o church_n which_o shall_v abide_v there_o where_o it_o be_v or_o wheresoever_o else_o it_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o whole_a world_n ¶_o anna._n wherefore_o do_v zach._n make_v a_o difference_n in_o the_o word_n follow_v betwixt_o judah_n and_o the_o house_n of_o david_n and_o jerusalem_n see_v they_o
