morning_n of_o his_o creation_n observe_v it_o it_o be_v never_o say_v very_o good_a till_o the_o last_o day_n till_o man_n be_v make_v there_o be_v not_o this_o commendation_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mention_v till_o he_o have_v make_v man_n and_o the_o reason_n be_v indeed_o because_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o take_v so_o much_o delight_n in_o all_o the_o work_v he_o have_v make_v in_o this_o world_n until_o he_o have_v make_v man_n man_n be_v the_o very_a compliment_n of_o all_o the_o excellency_n of_o god_n work_n for_o indeed_o he_o be_v the_o end_n of_o all_o his_o work_n he_o make_v all_o the_o other_o for_o man_n and_o man_n for_o himself_o god_n have_v not_o his_o glory_n i_o mean_v not_o immediate_o from_o all_o his_o other_o work_n in_o the_o world_n but_o only_o through_o man_n and_o have_v it_o not_o be_v for_o man_n he_o have_v lose_v the_o great_a part_n of_o his_o glory_n in_o the_o rest_n of_o his_o work_n his_o glory_n pass_v from_o all_o the_o work_n that_o he_o make_v unto_o he_o through_o man_n now_o therefore_o though_o the_o work_n that_o god_n make_v the_o heaven_n the_o earth_n and_o the_o sea_n and_o the_o like_a be_v good_a in_o themselves_o yet_o what_o glory_n can_v god_n have_v have_v in_o all_o these_o he_o can_v have_v no_o communion_n with_o these_o creature_n after_o they_o be_v make_v and_o these_o creature_n can_v have_v no_o communion_n with_o he_o none_o of_o they_o can_v know_v god_n or_o take_v any_o notice_n of_o god_n or_o praise_n god_n active_o god_n be_v a_o pure_a act_n and_o he_o be_v not_o content_a with_o have_v his_o glory_n passive_o but_o he_o must_v have_v his_o glory_n active_o it_o be_v true_a all_o his_o creature_n be_v make_v as_o a_o instrument_n in_o tune_n but_o there_o be_v none_o to_o play_v upon_o it_o and_o though_o there_o be_v never_o so_o much_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o all_o the_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n yet_o if_o man_n have_v not_o be_v make_v none_o can_v have_v sound_v forth_o this_o glory_n of_o god_n those_o creature_n have_v be_v dumb_a in_o that_o respect_n like_o a_o instrument_n that_o can_v of_o itself_o sound_v forth_o any_o music_n unless_o there_o be_v some_o to_o play_v upon_o it_o and_o so_o it_o be_v here_o god_n have_v make_v all_o other_o creature_n very_o good_a and_o there_o be_v in_o they_o matter_n of_o god_n praise_n but_o now_o to_o the_o end_n that_o this_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n may_v be_v sound_v forth_o he_o bring_v in_o man_n and_o he_o give_v he_o skill_n to_o praise_v the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o all_o these_o creature_n and_o in_o this_o god_n delight_v very_o much_o thus_o there_o be_v a_o most_o bless_a union_n and_o a_o wonderful_a delight_n between_o god_n and_o man_n at_o first_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v this_o union_n be_v soon_o break_v and_o man_n in_o a_o small_a time_n do_v come_v to_o be_v next_o to_o the_o devil_n the_o most_o deadly_a enemy_n that_o god_n have_v though_o there_o be_v a_o most_o bless_a union_n between_o god_n and_o man_n at_o first_o so_o that_o adam_n can_v walk_v and_o converse_v with_o god_n as_o he_o do_v for_o a_o while_n yet_o adam_n sin_n against_o god_n and_o turn_v a_o most_o desperate_a enemy_n against_o god_n even_o he_o himself_o and_o all_o his_o posterity_n therefore_o you_o shall_v observe_v in_o the_o story_n where_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n be_v set_v forth_o that_o as_o soon_o as_o adam_n have_v sin_v the_o voice_n of_o god_n which_o he_o do_v but_o hear_v in_o the_o garden_n become_v terrible_a to_o he_o and_o he_o present_o seek_v to_o hide_v himself_o he_o be_v conscious_a to_o himself_o that_o hâ—_n have_v make_v god_n his_o enemy_n and_o he_o look_v upon_o god_n as_o his_o enemy_n and_o so_o fly_v from_o he_o as_o from_o his_o enemy_n o_o what_o a_o change_n be_v here_o of_o man_n condition_n what_o a_o sad_a thing_n be_v this_o that_o god_n who_o have_v no_o creature_n in_o all_o the_o world_n to_o know_v he_o and_o fear_v he_o and_o serve_v he_o and_o love_v he_o and_o in_o who_o he_o can_v delight_v and_o have_v communion_n but_o only_a man_n and_o that_o that_o man_n shall_v present_o turn_v the_o enmity_n that_o be_v on_o man_n part_n against_o god_n be_v in_o his_o very_a nature_n it_o be_v true_a there_o be_v a_o sinful_a act_n bring_v it_o in_o first_o and_o make_v a_o breach_n between_o god_n and_o man_n but_o that_o be_v not_o all_o it_o go_v further_o there_o be_v by_o this_o sin_n beget_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n a_o antipathy_n a_o natural_a antipathy_n between_o he_o and_o god_n so_o that_o the_o poison_n of_o a_o toad_n in_o the_o body_n of_o a_o man_n be_v not_o more_o opposite_a and_o there_o be_v not_o a_o great_a enmity_n to_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n than_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n be_v opposite_a and_o a_o enemy_n unto_o god_n himself_o two_o sheep_n may_v fight_v one_o against_o another_o by_o occasion_n and_o be_v as_o enemy_n one_o with_o another_o but_o two_o sheep_n can_v never_o be_v at_o enmity_n one_o with_o another_o as_o the_o wolf_n and_o the_o lamb_n be_v for_o their_o enmity_n be_v natural_a their_o nature_n be_v opposite_a one_o to_o another_o so_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v opposite_a unto_o god_n even_o natural_o and_o know_v this_o that_o there_o be_v in_o man_n nature_n not_o only_o a_o hatred_n of_o god_n but_o a_o deadly_a hatred_n perhaps_o you_o may_v think_v you_o be_v free_a from_o this_o but_o certain_o this_o be_v in_o every_o one_o of_o your_o heart_n natural_o even_o in_o those_o that_o have_v the_o best_a nature_n in_o the_o world_n as_o you_o call_v they_o there_o be_v in_o their_o heart_n a_o hatred_n nay_o a_o deadly_a hatred_n against_o god_n but_o you_o will_v say_v god_n forbid_v what_o hate_n god_n see_v that_o scripture_n
needs_o be_v great_a it_o be_v sin_n that_o make_v the_o distance_n between_o god_n and_o we_o and_o that_o be_v so_o vast_a and_o wide_a that_o it_o do_v necessary_o require_v a_o mediator_n to_o come_v between_o and_o especial_o upon_o this_o ground_n because_o the_o lord_n be_v resolve_v to_o have_v that_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v unto_o he_o by_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n perfect_o make_v up_o sin_n have_v wrong_v god_n and_o god_n be_v resolve_v upon_o it_o he_o be_v set_v upon_o it_o to_o have_v this_o wrong_n complete_o make_v up_o and_o that_o he_o himself_o will_v be_v perfect_o right_v and_o this_o god_n justice_n call_v for_o and_o thus_o stand_v the_o term_n between_o god_n and_o man_n man_n have_v wrong_v god_n and_o god_n and_o he_o be_v now_o at_o variance_n and_o god_n stand_v upon_o it_o and_o be_v resolve_v with_o himself_o thus_o though_o i_o be_v willing_a to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o yet_o i_o will_v be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o so_o as_o i_o will_v have_v the_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v make_v up_o my_o justice_n shall_v be_v full_o and_o complete_o satisfy_v i_o must_v be_v right_v for_o i_o be_o god_n and_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v such_o a_o flaw_n remain_v in_o my_o justice_n to_o eternity_n as_o that_o such_o and_o such_o creature_n shall_v sin_v against_o i_o and_o i_o pass_v it_o by_o without_o have_v any_o satisfaction_n for_o say_v god_n this_o will_v be_v a_o flaw_n in_o my_o justice_n for_o ever_o and_o that_o i_o will_v not_o have_v and_o therefore_o i_o will_v be_v right_v in_o that_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v i_o by_o the_o fall_n of_o man._n it_o be_v true_a when_o one_o man_n come_v to_o treat_v about_o peace_n and_o reconciliation_n with_o another_o it_o be_v sometime_o necessary_a for_o he_o to_o pass_v by_o a_o offence_n without_o any_o satisfaction_n at_o all_o especial_o when_o that_o poor_a creature_n that_o have_v offend_v be_v not_o able_a to_o make_v satisfaction_n but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o between_o god_n and_o man_n though_o one_o man_n be_v at_o variance_n with_o another_o when_o he_o see_v that_o he_o that_o have_v do_v he_o the_o wrong_n can_v make_v satisfaction_n he_o than_o be_v indeed_o to_o pass_v it_o by_o but_o god_n mercy_n do_v never_o work_v after_o that_o manner_n though_o the_o mercy_n in_o a_o man_n may_v work_v he_o to_o such_o a_o reconciliation_n and_o though_o god_n be_v a_o god_n of_o infinite_a mercy_n infinite_o more_o merciful_a than_o any_o creature_n can_v be_v yet_o the_o way_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v a_o different_a way_n from_o the_o work_n of_o the_o creature_n mercy_n neither_o do_v it_o argue_v that_o there_o be_v not_o as_o much_o mercy_n in_o god_n as_o there_o be_v in_o the_o creature_n but_o that_o the_o way_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v different_a from_o that_o of_o the_o creature_n and_o this_o be_v the_o way_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mercy_n not_o to_o pass_v by_o the_o wrong_n do_v but_o to_o provide_v some_o mean_n or_o other_o himself_n to_o satisfy_v that_o wrong_n to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v have_v his_o justice_n satisfy_v and_o because_o that_o this_o be_v necessary_a hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v of_o our_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o god_n through_o jesus_n christ_n the_o necessity_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o mediator_n be_v not_o so_o much_o this_o that_o we_o be_v grievous_a sinner_n and_o so_o we_o have_v need_n of_o abundance_n of_o mercy_n from_o god_n if_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o these_o two_o only_a that_o we_o be_v great_a sinner_n and_o so_o have_v need_n of_o great_a mercy_n there_o will_v not_o come_v a_o necessity_n of_o christ_n but_o we_o be_v great_a sinner_n and_o we_o have_v need_n of_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o the_o wrong_n that_o sin_n have_v do_v unto_o god_n must_v be_v make_v up_o and_o his_o justice_n full_o satisfy_v and_o here_o come_v in_o the_o necessity_n of_o a_o christ_n and_o thus_o god_n be_v reconcile_a himself_n to_o the_o world_n in_o this_o regard_n and_o the_o truth_n be_v though_o some_o of_o you_o have_v hear_v the_o sound_n of_o this_o oftentimes_o yet_o you_o must_v know_v this_o be_v the_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o by_o our_o present_v this_o unto_o you_o again_o and_o again_o perhaps_o god_n will_v give_v you_o a_o further_a insight_n into_o this_o truth_n it_o be_v this_o that_o the_o angel_n desire_v so_o much_o to_o pry_v into_o they_o know_v this_o that_o god_n justice_n must_v be_v satisfy_v but_o they_o know_v it_o not_o so_o and_o so_o as_o the_o church_n know_v it_o and_o as_o the_o saint_n know_v it_o and_o therefore_o they_o pry_v more_o and_o more_o into_o it_o to_o see_v the_o further_a depth_n of_o it_o as_o indeed_o there_o be_v great_a and_o great_a depth_n in_o this_o mystery_n which_o we_o can_v never_o fathom_v and_o which_o be_v only_o reserve_v for_o the_o time_n of_o the_o resurrection_n most_o people_n think_v that_o when_o they_o be_v to_o seek_v for_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n they_o have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n only_o as_o a_o merciful_a god_n but_o you_o must_v know_v when_o you_o have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n about_o reconciliation_n you_o have_v to_o do_v with_o more_o than_o with_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n you_o have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n reconcile_n himself_o to_o the_o world_n in_o his_o son_n and_o you_o can_v never_o seek_v reconciliation_n with_o god_n in_o a_o right_a evangelical_n way_n unless_o you_o seek_v it_o in_o his_o son_n that_o brief_o shall_v suffice_v for_o the_o first_o the_o necessity_n of_o christ_n come_v in_o to_o the_o work_n of_o reconciliation_n chap._n 14._o how_o christ_n come_v to_o be_v a_o fit_a reconciler_n open_v in_o seven_o particular_n 1._o because_o he_o be_v the_o second_o person_n in_o the_o trinity_n 2._o he_o have_v take_v our_o nature_n on_o he_o 3._o he_o know_v full_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o father_n 4._o he_o full_o know_v what_o will_v the_o five_o and_o sixth_o particular_n mention_v in_o the_o twelve_o chapter_n that_o follow_v in_o the_o explication_n of_o this_o point_n of_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o when_o we_o have_v do_v they_o we_o shall_v come_v to_o the_o application_n of_o all_o the_o six_o thiing_n and_o the_o five_o be_v some_o consequence_n that_o follow_v from_o what_o have_v be_v speak_v for_o if_o we_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o may_v from_o thence_o draw_v diverse_a cosequence_n i_o shall_v not_o now_o do_v it_o by_o way_n of_o application_n but_o only_o show_v you_o how_o such_o consequence_n as_o i_o shall_v name_n do_v natural_o flow_v from_o what_o have_v be_v say_v for_o if_o the_o reconconciliation_n between_o god_n and_o we_o be_v in_o christ_n then_o there_o be_v these_o particular_n of_o it_o and_o these_o thing_n may_v be_v say_v concern_v it_o consequence_n 1._o first_o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o reconciliation_n of_o the_o child_n of_o man_n with_o god_n be_v a_o very_a great_a and_o deep_a mystery_n it_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n that_o can_v ordinary_o be_v understand_v it_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n that_o be_v wrought_v speak_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n in_o a_o mystery_n even_o the_o hide_a wisdom_n which_o god_n ordain_v before_o the_o world_n to_o our_o glory_n it_o speak_v of_o the_o very_a same_o thing_n that_o my_o text_n speak_v of_o viz._n that_o god_n be_v reconcile_n the_o world_n to_o hemself_n in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o this_o he_o say_v be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n in_o a_o mystery_n the_o hide_a wisdom_n which_o god_n ordain_v before_o the_o world_n to_o our_o glory_n and_o then_o again_o verse_n 10._o god_n have_v reveal_v they_o to_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n the_o particle_n they_o be_v not_o in_o the_o greek_a but_o only_o thus_o god_n have_v reveal_v to_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n that_o be_v this_o mystery_n for_o the_o spirit_n seacrh_v all_o thing_n yea_o the_o deep_a thing_n of_o god_n that_o be_v the_o first_o thing_n that_o follow_v it_o be_v a_o mystery_n consequence_n 2._o the_o second_o be_v this_o hence_o our_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n be_v very_o free_a it_o this_o reconciliation_n why_o because_o god_n have_v wrought_v so_o strange_o about_o the_o work_n and_o he_o will_v never_o work_v so_o strange_o about_o such_o a_o work_n but_o he_o will_v have_v it_o come_v to_o somewhat_o he_o will_v not_o have_v this_o work_n after_o he_o have_v do_v all_o to_o vanish_v those_o indeed_o that_o hold_v the_o doctrine_n of_o free_a will_n and_o say_v that_o indeed_o there_o be_v a_o price_n pay_v upon_o condition_n if_o we_o do_v believe_v but_o we_o be_v leave_v to_o ourselves_o either_o to_o believe_v or_o not_o believe_v and_o god_n only_a propoud_n of_o none_o effect_v at_o all_o that_o after_o god_n have_v from_o all_o eternity_n plot_v the_o work_n and_o send_v his_o own_o son_n into_o the_o world_n to_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n to_o die_v &_o to_o make_v all_o that_o ado_n &_o all_o that_o work_n about_o the_o matter_n of_o reconciliation_n &_o atonement_n yet_o if_o that_o doctrine_n be_v true_a which_o be_v a_o belzebub_n error_n a_o false_a doctrine_n of_o the_o great_a magnitude_n it_o have_v be_v possible_a hat_n notwithstanding_o the_o do_v of_o all_o this_o all_o have_v even_o lose_v and_o not_o so_o sure_a as_o now_o it_o be_v for_o in_o that_o it_o be_v by_o faith_n upon_o christ_n we_o have_v christ_n to_o pitch_v upon_o as_o the_o object_n of_o our_o faith_n for_o our_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n and_o by_o that_o it_o come_v to_o be_v more_o sure_a than_o it_o can_v be_v by_o any_o other_o way_n we_o can_v conceive_v that_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o the_o lord_n by_o any_o way_n to_o reveal_v the_o reality_n of_o his_o heart_n and_o the_o certainty_n of_o his_o work_n in_o reconcile_a the_o world_n to_o himself_o so_o as_o by_o this_o mean_n in_o that_o he_o have_v reaul_v it_o to_o be_v in_o chirst_n and_o that_o be_v the_o three_o thing_n that_o follow_v from_o it_o consequence_n 4._o the_o four_o thing_n from_o thence_o be_v this_o that_o if_o it_o be_v in_o christ_n then_o as_o it_o be_v sure_a so_o it_o be_v full_a indeed_o be_v it_o in_o any_o other_o way_n that_o god_n do_v reveal_v reconciliation_n to_o we_o then_o in_o christ_n we_o may_v be_v afraid_a that_o there_o be_v something_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n against_o it_o that_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n do_v not_o full_o close_a with_o we_o &_o to_o be_v full_o reconcile_v with_o we_o but_o when_o we_o hear_v what_o god_n have_v do_v to_o reconcile_v we_o to_o himself_o what_o a_o price_n he_o have_v pay_v for_o it_o what_o cost_v he_o have_v be_v at_o to_o accomplish_v it_o and_o that_o his_o own_o son_n have_v undertake_v to_o bring_v we_o and_o the_o father_n together_o and_o so_o to_o make_v up_o this_o reconciliation_n then_o we_o may_v conclude_v it_o a_o full_a and_o perfect_a reconciliation_n jesus_n christ_n will_v never_o undertake_v such_o a_o work_n but_o he_o will_v complete_a it_o and_o he_o have_v complete_v it_o and_o therefore_o when_o you_o hear_v be_v reconcile_v so_o he_o be_v reoncile_v upon_o honourable_a term_n indeed_o a_o man_n that_o have_v a_o inferior_a who_o have_v offend_v he_o when_o he_o can_v see_v no_o other_o way_n to_o help_v himself_o but_o that_o he_o must_v put_v up_o all_o the_o wrong_n and_o injury_n that_o have_v be_v do_v he_o it_o be_v a_o far_o different_a thing_n then_o to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o the_o party_n offend_v upon_o honourable_a term_n for_o if_o he_o can_v come_v to_o have_v this_o wrong_n make_v up_o again_o and_o not_o only_o he_o that_o have_v offend_v come_v to_o submit_v himself_o to_o he_o be_v such_o a_o mistake_n as_o indeed_o be_v a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o the_o work_n of_o god_n reconciliation_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o must_v put_v much_o upon_o that_o great_a work_n which_o god_n put_v so_o much_o upon_o and_o if_o we_o do_v we_o may_v go_v up_o and_o down_o in_o the_o world_n with_o a_o world_n of_o comfort_n and_o it_o will_v increase_v sanctification_n indeed_o to_o deny_v all_o kind_n of_o obleigment_n of_o the_o law_n to_o god_n and_o to_o say_v that_o man_n be_v not_o bind_v to_o keep_v it_o as_o god_n be_v their_o creator_n &c_n &c_n there_o be_v a_o exstream_n vanity_n in_o it_o but_o to_o give_v the_o law_n that_o which_o be_v its_o due_n and_o to_o give_v the_o believer_n his_o due_a too_o to_o show_v how_o far_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o it_o and_o how_o far_o deliver_v from_o it_o this_o be_v a_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o people_n shall_v labour_v to_o understand_v it_o aright_o and_o take_v heed_n lest_o out_o of_o a_o desire_n to_o apprehend_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o do_v not_o go_v too_o far_o in_o ourthrow_v our_o obligation_n to_o god_n by_o the_o law_n one_o will_v think_v that_o this_o their_o weakness_n as_o work_n of_o enmity_n against_o they_o not_o only_o of_o their_o way_n towards_o god_n as_o a_o argument_n that_o god_n and_o they_o be_v at_o enmity_n but_o they_o be_v ready_a to_o judge_n all_o the_o administration_n of_o god_n providence_n as_o if_o they_o be_v the_o work_n of_o a_o enemy_n to_o they_o as_o if_o god_n be_v in_o they_o walk_v contrary_a to_o they_o this_o be_v a_o great_a weakness_n and_o dishonour_n unto_o god_n let_v the_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a judge_n so_o if_o they_o wil._n as_o god_n say_v fury_n be_v not_o in_o i_o who_o will_v set_v the_o aught_o they_o know_v but_o they_o that_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n it_o be_v their_o weakness_n if_o they_o shall_v look_v upon_o the_o great_a affliction_n they_o meet_v withal_o as_o a_o work_n a_o wicked_a man_n may_v have_v a_o great_a many_o favour_n from_o god_n and_o fruit_n of_o his_o patience_n yet_o no_o wicked_a man_n have_v ground_n to_o make_v such_o a_o interpretation_n of_o any_o good_a thing_n he_o enjoy_v from_o god_n as_o to_o think_v that_o this_o do_v tend_v to_o his_o eternal_a good_a so_o those_o that_o be_v believer_n though_o they_o meet_v with_o never_o so_o great_a affliction_n yet_o they_o have_v not_o sufficient_a ground_n to_o make_v this_o interpretation_n of_o those_o affliction_n that_o they_o tend_v to_o their_o utter_a undo_n and_o one_o will_v think_v that_o this_o be_v enough_o on_o the_o other_o side_n for_o man_n to_o believe_v that_o whatsoever_o affliction_n they_o meet_v withal_o in_o this_o world_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n in_o all_o of_o reconciliation_n and_o that_o be_v to_o be_v preach_v and_o it_o be_v their_o commission_n to_o preach_v that_o especial_o oh_o how_o be_v it_o to_o be_v receive_v to_o be_v accept_v to_o we_o be_v commit_v the_o ministry_n of_o reconciliation_n what_o be_v it_o it_o be_v such_o a_o ministry_n of_o no_o less_o consequence_n than_o your_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n oh_o how_o glad_o not_o infinite_a malice_n it_o can_v never_o enter_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n such_o a_o conceit_n as_o this_o be_v you_o speak_v about_o treat_v of_o peace_n with_o god_n but_o they_o be_v severe_a and_o denounce_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n against_o we_o i_o appeal_v to_o you_o how_o do_v we_o denounce_v they_o do_v we_o denounce_v they_o absolute_a or_o only_o in_o order_n to_o the_o bring_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o faith_n and_o repentance_n what_o do_v we_o plead_v against_o it_o be_v but_o against_o your_o sin_n that_o be_v your_o enemy_n your_o deadly_a enemy_n that_o league_n with_o sin_n or_o to_o break_v it_o that_o you_o may_v have_v a_o league_n between_o god_n and_o your_o soul_n this_o be_v the_o intention_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o you_o will_v say_v if_o why_o do_v they_o preach_v terror_n so_o much_o for_o this_o be_v their_o commission_n the_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n to_o that_o i_o answer_v certain_o he_o be_v a_o minister_n that_o know_v not_o his_o commission_n that_o preach_v the_o law_n or_o any_o terror_n any_o other_o way_n but_o in_o order_n to_o this_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n any_o other_o way_n but_o to_o make_v you_o to_o understand_v this_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n though_o there_o be_v in_o some_o respect_n a_o great_a deal_n of_o difference_n between_o the_o law_n and_o the_o gospel_n yet_o most_o people_n think_v it_o great_a than_o it_o be_v for_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o law_n be_v that_o that_o be_v employ_v at_o least_o in_o the_o gospel_n imply_v as_o thus_o when_o we_o say_v the_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n it_o be_v impossible_a to_o open_v this_o unto_o you_o without_o show_v you_o something_o that_o the_o law_n tend_v to_o reconciliation_n why_o because_o that_o we_o be_v enemy_n to_o god_n enemy_n to_o god_n how_o how_o can_v we_o be_v enemy_n to_o god_n yea_o by_o your_o sin_n how_o shall_v we_o know_v that_o sin_n do_v bring_v enmity_n between_o god_n and_o we_o the_o law_n tell_v you_o curse_v be_v every_o one_o that_o abide_v not_o in_o every_o thing_n that_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n to_o do_v it_o when_o we_o speak_v of_o reconciliation_n there_o be_v imply_v enmity_n i_o appeal_v to_o any_o of_o you_o consider_v that_o god_n work_v with_o creature_n according_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o creature_n he_o do_v use_v to_o work_v though_o above_o reason_n yet_o in_o a_o rational_a way_n he_o begin_v the_o work_n with_o those_o who_o he_o intend_v to_o save_v therefore_o how_o can_v we_o in_o a_o rational_a way_n tell_v what_o of_o the_o minister_n speak_v any_o thing_n to_o you_o that_o have_v any_o terror_n in_o it_o do_v but_o persuade_v your_o soul_n of_o this_o o_o but_o this_o be_v in_o order_n to_o my_o peace_n with_o god_n in_o order_n to_o show_v what_o a_o bless_a and_o sweet_a saviour_n jesus_n christ_n be_v but_o other_o will_v say_v the_o word_n of_o peace_n be_v commit_v unto_o you_o why_o do_v you_o speak_v of_o war_n then_o tâ—_n that_o i_o answer_v but_o in_o a_o word_n when_o we_o speak_v to_o you_o concern_v war_n what_o be_v our_o aim_n what_o do_v it_o tend_v to_o but_o only_o this_o that_o recceive_v they_o but_o reject_v the_o gospel_n and_o despise_v it_o and_o look_v upon_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o if_o they_o be_v their_o great_a enemy_n this_o be_v a_o most_o wretched_a wicked_a world_n and_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o world_n that_o can_v aggravate_v the_o sin_n of_o menmore_o then_o this_o that_o they_o shall_v reject_v the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n say_v god_n what_o when_o i_o shall_v send_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n my_o servant_n to_o treat_v with_o these_o wretched_a creature_n about_o make_v peace_n between_o i_o and_o
