&_o who_o heart_n may_v they_o not_o worthy_o allure_v to_o enter_v into_o this_o course_n of_o true_a wisdom_n glory_n and_o happiness_n whosoever_o have_v any_o spark_n of_o grace_n and_o true_a wisdom_n in_o they_o but_o alas_o it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o in_o so_o much_o as_o the_o law_n promise_v not_o any_o blessing_n but_o upon_o condition_n of_o perfect_a obedience_n and_o see_v we_o be_v all_o yea_o even_o they_o that_o have_v receive_v great_a grace_n great_o behind_o and_o much_o fail_v therein_o that_o we_o say_v nothing_o of_o those_o that_o be_v so_o far_o from_o the_o course_n both_o of_o speech_n and_o life_n here_o command_v that_o they_o rejoice_v in_o wickedness_n &_o think_v themselves_o to_o remember_v god_n the_o better_a when_o they_o swear_v and_o rap_v the_o 17._o chapter_n of_o the_o gospel_n write_v by_o his_o holy_a evangelist_n saint_n john_n the_o whole_a chapter_n be_v notable_a to_o this_o purpose_n be_v a_o most_o heavenly_a prayer_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o his_o and_o through_o he_o our_o heavenly_a father_n for_o his_o whole_a church_n and_o people_n but_o let_v we_o hear_v the_o principal_a word_n tend_v to_o this_o end_n holy_a assembly_n of_o god_n people_n in_o the_o holy_a place_n thereunto_o appoint_v and_o in_o the_o holy_a time_n and_o season_n thereof_o that_o be_v on_o the_o day_n of_o the_o holy_a sabbath_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o be_v also_o the_o excercise_v of_o ourselves_o both_o public_o with_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o congregation_n and_o private_o apart_o by_o ourselves_o in_o all_o the_o holy_a duty_n and_o exercise_n of_o god_n holy_a worship_n both_o inward_a and_o outward_a mention_v before_o in_o the_o interpretation_n both_o of_o the_o first_o and_o also_o of_o the_o second_o and_o three_o commandment_n furthermore_o they_o be_v the_o try_v of_o our_o own_o heart_n and_o life_n how_o we_o proceed_v or_o go_v backward_o or_o stand_v at_o a_o stay_n in_o the_o love_n and_o obedience_n of_o the_o true_a religion_n of_o god_n and_o according_o in_o the_o remembrance_n and_o meditation_n of_o god_n mercy_n chief_o of_o our_o redemption_n by_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n and_o of_o his_o judgement_n either_o upon_o ourselves_o or_o other_o a_o stir_v up_o and_o quicken_a of_o our_o own_o soul_n either_o to_o thankfulness_n and_o joy_n in_o the_o lord_n or_o to_o godly_a sorrow_o and_o repentance_n with_o the_o increase_v thereof_o in_o regard_n of_o our_o own_o sin_n and_o fayling_n as_o the_o matter_n itself_o and_o as_o the_o several_a occasion_n shall_v require_v final_o they_o be_v the_o special_a exercise_n of_o mutual_a brotherly_a kindness_n and_o merciful_a deal_n both_o towards_o the_o body_n in_o outward_a relief_n and_o also_o the_o soul_n of_o our_o brethren_n by_o spiritual_a succour_n of_o instruction_n conference_n or_o prayer_n to_o the_o uttermost_a of_o that_o grace_n and_o power_n wherewith_o the_o lord_n shall_v make_v every_o one_o of_o we_o able_a from_o time_n to_o time_n you_o answer_v true_o for_o notwithstanding_o the_o institution_n of_o these_o duty_n of_o god_n worship_n be_v set_v down_o in_o the_o former_a commandment_n yet_o the_o special_a practice_n of_o they_o all_o be_v require_v in_o this_o four_o commandment_n which_o assign_v and_o lay_v forth_o unto_o we_o the_o principal_a time_n and_o season_n special_o sanctify_v of_o god_n to_o the_o same_o end_n but_o be_v these_o holy_a duty_n so_o tie_v and_o appropriate_v to_o the_o lord_n holy_a sabbath_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n be_v we_o so_o bind_v to_o uncessant_a labour_n in_o the_o ordinary_a duty_n of_o our_o worldly_a calling_n for_o the_o whole_a space_n of_o the_o six_o day_n of_o the_o week_n labour_n duty_n command_v liberty_n of_o sabbath_n six_o day_n labour_n that_o we_o be_v exempt_a and_o discharge_v from_o all_o holy_a duty_n of_o god_n worship_n upon_o those_o day_n we_o may_v not_o understand_v the_o week_n to_o spend_v so_o much_o time_n in_o the_o holy_a and_o spiritual_a duty_n of_o god_n worship_n as_o he_o shall_v find_v necessary_a to_o keep_v his_o heart_n with_o god_n and_o by_o prayer_n morning_n and_o evening_n to_o commend_v himself_o and_o all_o his_o affair_n and_o the_o whole_a church_n of_o god_n to_o the_o continual_a protection_n and_o blessing_n of_o god_n further_o also_o it_o be_v lawful_a yea_o the_o bind_a duty_n of_o every_o one_o not_o hinder_v by_o some_o necessary_a let_v to_o cease_v his_o ordinary_a work_n or_o honest_a recreation_n or_o delight_n to_o hear_v the_o sermon_n if_o there_o be_v any_o on_o the_o week_n day_n yea_o to_o spend_v the_o whole_a day_n when_o it_o be_v command_v either_o for_o the_o public_a fast_o or_o for_o a_o public_a be_v evident_a not_o only_o that_o they_o do_v all_o and_o special_o mark_v and_o luke_n diligent_o set_v down_o and_o record_v in_o holy_a write_v his_o most_o holy_a and_o constant_a labour_n in_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n upon_o the_o sabbath_n day_n for_o the_o instruct_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n in_o the_o right_a way_n of_o their_o salvation_n and_o therewithal_o likewise_o how_o upon_o the_o same_o day_n he_o exercise_v his_o spiritual_a work_n of_o mercy_n towards_o the_o body_n of_o all_o sort_n of_o impotent_a and_o disease_a man_n yea_o towards_o both_o body_n and_o soul_n of_o such_o as_o be_v whole_o possess_v and_o vex_v by_o devil_n but_o also_o it_o be_v evident_a by_o that_o more_o particular_a testimony_n of_o the_o evangelist_n luke_n concern_v his_o most_o holy_a care_n even_o from_o his_o childhood_n to_o resort_v to_o the_o place_n of_o god_n worship_n in_o the_o special_a time_n thereof_o to_o worship_v god_n and_o to_o hear_v and_o inquire_v of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o his_o word_n at_o the_o mouth_n of_o those_o which_o be_v the_o doctor_n and_o teacher_n thereof_o as_o we_o read_v 2._o luke_n from_o the_o 42._o verse_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o chapter_n so_o indeed_o we_o read_v there_o that_o when_o he_o be_v twelve_o year_n old_a he_o go_v up_o to_o jerusalem_n etc._n etc._n but_o much_o more_o when_o he_o come_v to_o man_n age_n and_o that_o he_o be_v to_o manifest_v himself_o to_o israel_n etc._n etc._n it_o be_v plentiful_o testify_v that_o he_o most_o careful_o and_o perfect_o sanctify_v the_o sabbath_n day_n by_o he_o therefore_o be_v we_o redeem_v from_o the_o curse_n of_o this_o law_n and_o justify_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n by_o he_o also_o if_o we_o believe_v in_o his_o name_n and_o repent_v of_o our_o sin_n indevor_v more_o and_o more_o after_o the_o true_a sanctify_v of_o the_o sabbath_n the_o lord_n will_v accept_v our_o obedience_n though_o it_o be_v unperfect_a yea_o and_o he_o will_v for_o christ_n sake_n interest_n we_o in_o all_o those_o promise_n which_o he_o have_v make_v to_o all_o such_o as_o will_v have_v care_n to_o sanctify_v they_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v sabbath_n the_o perpetuity_n of_o the_o sabbath_n though_o they_o can_v full_o attain_v thereunto_o here_o in_o this_o life_n but_o what_o particular_a ground_n or_o proof_n of_o scripture_n may_v we_o have_v for_o this_o even_o the_o same_o which_o be_v allege_v before_o out_o of_o the_o 9_o chap._n of_o john_n the_o 31._o verse_n that_o god_n will_v hear_v every_o man_n that_o be_v not_o a_o sinner_n but_o be_v a_o worshipper_n of_o god_n and_o indevour_v to_o do_v his_o will_n this_o one_o place_n may_v well_o serve_v to_o either_o purpose_n etc._n etc._n and_o thus_o may_v we_o end_v the_o whole_a doctrine_n and_o use_n of_o this_o four_o commandment_n save_v that_o the_o unaduised_a contradiction_n of_o some_o do_v occasion_n a_o further_a business_n as_o though_o the_o sabbath_n that_o be_v the_o sanctify_a of_o every_o seven_o day_n be_v nothing_o but_o a_o mere_a jewish_a ceremony_n but_o we_o will_v use_v as_o quick_a speed_n as_o may_v be_v in_o the_o rehearsal_n of_o this_o point_n what_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o that_o which_o have_v be_v say_v and_o which_o ought_v to_o be_v firm_o hold_v of_o we_o against_o that_o opinion_n &_o assertion_n which_o be_v against_o the_o sabbath_n we_o have_v learn_v that_o the_o sabbath_n can_v be_v true_o say_v to_o have_v be_v at_o any_o time_n a_o mere_a ceremony_n but_o that_o it_o have_v always_o be_v and_o so_o be_v still_o a_o moral_a and_o unremovable_a commandment_n of_o god_n we_o have_v learn_v also_o that_o neither_o our_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o nor_o hic_fw-la apostle_n have_v abrogate_a nor_o ever_o mind_v to_o abrogate_v the_o lord_n commandment_n touch_v the_o sabbath_n but_o they_o have_v firm_o confirm_v and_o establish_v it_o what_o proof_n have_v you_o that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n
