reputation_n and_o esteem_n among_o man_n than_o multitude_n of_o loose_a pretender_n to_o institute_v religion_n yet_o when_o all_o due_a encourgement_n and_o praise_n be_v give_v and_o allow_v to_o moral_a virtue_n and_o honesty_n wherever_o it_o be_v find_v it_o must_v be_v affirm_v and_o be_v certain_o true_a that_o no_o man_n under_o the_o heaven_n can_v be_v justify_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n by_o moral_a virtue_n for_o then_o a_o man_n may_v be_v justify_v by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n and_o that_o by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n in_o one_o part_n of_o it_o only_o i._n e._n by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o second_o table_n when_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o first_o be_v omit_v but_o for_o as_o much_o as_o by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n no_o flesh_n shall_v be_v justify_v in_o his_o sight_n it_o follow_v as_o a_o necessary_a and_o undeniable_a consequence_n that_o moral_a virtue_n can_v justify_v a_o man_n nor_o that_o any_o man_n can_v be_v justify_v by_o moral_a virtue_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o although_o there_o have_v not_o be_v want_v among_o the_o philosopher_n of_o old_a and_o among_o false_a christian_n of_o latter_a time_n who_o have_v by_o glory_n but_o it_o seem_v not_o good_a in_o his_o sight_n so_o to_o do_v know_v how_o to_o over-rule_v so_o great_a a_o evil_a as_o sin_n and_o the_o transgression_n of_o his_o holy_a law_n to_o the_o further_a manifestation_n of_o his_o own_o great_a glory_n and_o the_o great_a good_a of_o his_o own_o elect_a and_o therefore_o we_o further_o find_v by_o inquiry_n into_o this_o matter_n by_o the_o light_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o this_o so_o stupendous_a and_o mysterious_a a_o work_n of_o his_o providence_n with_o respect_n to_o man_n be_v necessary_a in_o order_n to_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o own_o great_a glory_n and_o man_n great_a good_a in_o five_o or_o six_o thing_n 1._o namely_o first_o that_o thereby_o he_o may_v take_v occasion_n through_o sin_n and_o the_o transgression_n of_o his_o law_n to_o bring_v to_o light_n and_o give_v forth_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o eternal_a election_n of_o grace_n both_o among_o angel_n and_o man_n before_o
