way_n suitable_a to_o those_o that_o hear_v we_o these_o be_v thing_n that_o every_o body_n know_v well_o enough_o and_o why_o shall_v we_o trouble_v ourselves_o so_o often_o to_o speak_v of_o these_o thing_n if_o now_o among_o all_o these_o cavil_n there_o be_v any_o who_o upon_o any_o reason_n whatsoever_o do_v undervalue_n this_o kind_n of_o preach_v my_o answer_n to_o they_o who_o be_v thus_o quarrelsome_a may_v be_v this_o have_v we_o not_o power_n to_o make_v choice_n of_o what_o text_n and_o subject_n we_o apprehend_v useful_a to_o those_o to_o who_o we_o preach_v and_o why_o shall_v fail_v if_o we_o have_v not_o a_o better_a and_o sure_a rule_n to_o walk_v by_o viz._n the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o thing_n to_o be_v grant_v to_o this_o objection_n though_o we_o urge_v morality_n integrity_n and_o honesty_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n towards_o man_n yet_o we_o do_v not_o refer_v ourselves_o to_o the_o write_n of_o the_o heathen_a as_o to_o our_o only_a or_o perfect_a rule_n but_o we_o believe_v the_o scripture_n teach_v we_o much_o better_a sect._n 4_o object_n to_o all_o this_o it_o may_v be_v say_v it_o be_v a_o thankless_a office_n to_o tell_v man_n of_o their_o fault_n so_o may_v it_o seem_v yea_o and_o unmanly_a too_o to_o insult_v over_o the_o dead_a who_o be_v not_o able_a to_o plead_v their_o own_o cause_n wherefore_o it_o will_v in_o likelihood_n be_v inquire_v for_o what_o reason_n be_v all_o these_o thing_n produce_v against_o a_o sort_n of_o man_n who_o ought_v rather_o to_o be_v pity_v and_o it_o may_v be_v think_v much_o better_a to_o bury_v their_o fault_n in_o silence_n answ_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o they_o who_o least_o understand_v these_o thing_n yet_o do_v most_o need_v they_o and_o this_o be_v god_n 2._o eph._n 2._o in_o the_o world_n and_o it_o be_v very_o likely_a this_o treatise_n may_v meet_v with_o the_o same_o fate_n for_o i_o do_v not_o think_v so_o well_o of_o myself_o as_o to_o
