only_o restrain_v do_v the_o one_o walk_v blameless_o without_o offence_n do_v he_o avoid_v the_o grosser_n pollution_n of_o the_o world_n so_o do_v the_o other_o a_o star_n be_v not_o more_o like_o a_o star_n than_o these_o meteor_n may_v be_v like_o they_o but_o now_o here_o lie_v the_o difference_n restrain_v grace_n only_o tie_v the_o hand_n but_o sanctify_a grace_n stab_v the_o old_a man_n to_o the_o heart_n it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o bind_v a_o thief_n to_o a_o tree_n and_o another_o thing_n to_o nail_v he_o fast_o to_o the_o cross_n restrain_v grace_n only_o bind_v corruption_n fast_o that_o it_o can_v stir_v not_o outward_o but_o still_o it_o have_v as_o much_o strength_n as_o ever_o but_o now_o sanctify_a grace_n that_o crucify_v it_o and_o nail_n it_o to_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n where_o it_o weaken_v and_o languish_v and_o hang_v a_o die_a body_n of_o death_n the_o earth_n be_v as_o dry_a and_o hard_a in_o a_o frosty_a winter_n as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o parch_a summer_n yet_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o difference_n in_o the_o cause_n of_o it_o in_o summer_n the_o sun_n dry_v up_o the_o moisture_n and_o in_o winter_n the_o frost_n bind_v it_o in_o true_o restrain_v and_o sanctify_a grace_n be_v for_o all_o the_o world_n like_o frost_n and_o sun_n the_o way_n of_o those_o who_o have_v only_o a_o restraint_n lay_v upon_o they_o may_v be_v altogether_o as_o fair_a and_o clean_o as_o the_o way_n of_o those_o that_o be_v sanctify_v be_v but_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n in_o the_o cause_n sanctify_v grace_n dry_v up_o the_o filth_n and_o corruption_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o one_o but_o restrain_v grace_n only_o freze_v in_o and_o bind_v up_o the_o filth_n and_o corruption_n of_o the_o other_o second_o life_n sanctify_v grace_n strike_v at_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o heart_n restrain_v grace_n only_o hinder_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o life_n sanctify_v grace_n strike_v especial_o at_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o heart_n but_o restrain_v grace_n usual_o only_o hinder_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o life_n a_o unregenerate_a man_n though_o never_o so_o moral_a hunt_v his_o sin_n only_o in_o
much_o less_o therefore_o can_v we_o do_v any_o thing_n that_o may_v deserve_v it_o all_o that_o we_o can_v do_v be_v either_o sinful_a or_o holy_a if_o what_o we_o do_v be_v sinful_a it_o only_o increase_v our_o debt_n if_o it_o be_v holy_a it_o must_v proceed_v from_o god_n free_a grace_n that_o enable_v we_o to_o do_v it_o and_o certain_o it_o be_v free_a grace_n to_o pardon_v we_o upon_o what_o be_v our_o prayer_n our_o sigh_n our_o tear_n yea_o what_o be_v our_o life_n and_o our_o blood_n itself_o shall_v we_o shed_v it_o for_o christ_n all_o this_o can_v make_v one_o blot_n in_o god_n remembrance-book_n yea_o it_o be_v fit_a and_o more_o become_v the_o infinite_a bounty_n of_o god_n to_o give_v pardon_n and_o heaven_n free_o than_o to_o set_v they_o to_o sale_n for_o such_o inconsiderable_a thing_n as_o these_o be_v heaven_n need_v not_o to_o have_v be_v so_o needless_o prodigal_a and_o lavish_v as_o to_o have_v send_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n into_o the_o world_n to_o lead_v a_o miserable_a life_n and_o die_v a_o curse_a death_n have_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o man_n to_o have_v buy_v off_o his_o own_o guilt_n and_o to_o have_v quit_v score_n with_o god_n by_o a_o low_a price_n than_o what_o christ_n himself_o can_v do_v or_o suffer_v and_o so_o much_o for_o the_o resolution_n of_o the_o first_o question_n god_n pardon_v grace_n though_o it_o be_v purchase_v in_o respect_n of_o christ_n yet_o be_v it_o absolute_o free_a in_o respect_n of_o any_o merit_n of_o we_o the_o second_o question_n be_v whether_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v so_o free_a as_o to_o require_v no_o condition_n on_o our_o part_n of_o gift_n some_o be_v bestow_v absolute_o without_o any_o term_n of_o agreement_n and_o some_o be_v conditional_a upon_o the_o performance_n of_o such_o stipulation_n and_o condition_n without_o which_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v bestow_v of_o which_o sort_n be_v this_o grace_n of_o god_n absolute_o sanctify_v grace_n be_v give_v absolute_o
