destroy_v their_o worldly_a estate_n for_o if_o their_o riches_n do_v stand_v and_o continue_v with_o they_o for_o their_o own_o life_n which_o sundry_a time_n fall_v out_o otherwise_o because_o god_n do_v accurse_v riches_n so_o get_v yet_o do_v their_o child_n scatter_v and_o consume_v they_o at_o least_o within_o a_o few_o generation_n as_o daily_a experience_n show_v in_o a_o number_n and_o so_o you_o may_v see_v their_o double_a misery_n well_o may_v some_o man_n say_v do_v not_o this_o make_v for_o the_o popish_a doctrine_n of_o merit_n and_o justification_n by_o man_n own_o work_n when_o aâ—_n man_n deed_n to_o the_o poor_a do_v lay_v up_o in_o store_n a_o good_a foundation_n against_o the_o time_n to_o come_v tâ—â—t_v they_o may_v attain_v eternal_a life_n when_o bountiful_a give_n do_v make_v bag_n full_a of_o treasure_n which_o shall_v never_o wax_v old_a and_o when_o compassion_n to_o the_o needy_a do_v make_v friend_n that_o shall_v receive_v we_o into_o everlasting_a wonderful_a that_o rich_a man_n can_v not_o be_v bring_v to_o see_v this_o and_o to_o use_v their_o riches_n to_o their_o best_a advantage_n but_o do_v indeed_o let_v slip_v their_o happiness_n they_o can_v willing_o bestow_v great_a cost_n in_o build_v fair_a house_n it_o do_v not_o grieve_v they_o to_o bestow_v very_o much_o also_o in_o gorgeous_a apparel_n and_o they_o reckon_v not_o what_o they_o lie_v out_o in_o delicate_a fare_n both_o upon_o themselves_o and_o upon_o other_o that_o be_v wealthy_a but_o to_o bestow_v a_o little_a more_o than_o ordinary_a upon_o those_o that_o be_v poor_a and_o in_o misery_n be_v very_a greeâ—ouâ—_n because_o they_o do_v account_v that_o to_o be_v lose_v or_o cast_v away_o whereas_o in_o very_a deed_n there_o be_v nothing_o which_o can_v be_v lay_v out_o to_o any_o great_a profit_n but_o that_o which_o be_v spend_v upon_o the_o poor_a for_o house_n apparel_n and_o meat_n do_v perish_v with_o their_o use_n they_o be_v transitory_a and_o vain_a but_o the_o reward_n promise_v by_o the_o lord_n be_v a_o treasure_n that_o shall_v never_o come_v unto_o a_o end_n those_o former_a do_v appertain_v but_o unto_o the_o satisfy_n of_o carnal_a lust_n but_o mercy_n show_v to_o the_o needy_a heap_v up_o glory_n in_o the_o heaven_n there_o be_v a_o very_a great_a difference_n between_o these_o two_o but_o man_n be_v lead_v by_o sense_n and_o not_o by_o sound_n wisdom_n and_o that_o cause_v they_o to_o make_v so_o bad_a a_o choice_n they_o feel_v the_o sweetness_n of_o riches_n for_o the_o present_a time_n they_o be_v sure_a of_o those_o true_a wisdom_n together_o with_o their_o riches_n make_v the_o foundation_n of_o a_o most_o happy_a building_n which_o shall_v never_o decay_v christ_n jesus_n use_v a_o other_o comparison_n to_o set_v forth_o this_o same_o matter_n luke_n 12._o ver_fw-la 33._o saying_n sell_v your_o good_n and_o give_v alm_n make_v you_o bag_n that_o shall_v never_o wax_v old_a a_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n for_o if_o you_o do_v such_o thing_n you_o shall_v never_o fall_v and_o by_o this_o mean_v a_o entrance_n shall_v be_v minister_v unto_o you_o abundant_o into_o the_o everlasting_a kingdom_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n what_o can_v be_v speak_v more_o clear_o for_o the_o certainty_n of_o salvation_n and_o that_o by_o mean_n &_o degree_n man_n rise_v up_o unto_o it_o do_v to_o bud_v and_o grow_v up_o there_o arise_v some_o comfort_n and_o assurance_n there_o the_o spirit_n the_o water_n and_o the_o blood_n begin_v to_o bear_v record_n this_o be_v a_o true_a record_n but_o yet_o it_o seem_v not_o so_o clear_a because_o the_o remnant_n of_o sin_n be_v very_o strong_a and_o plenteous_a and_o the_o virtue_n be_v as_o i_o may_v say_v tender_a and_o weak_a now_o as_o knowledge_n and_o faith_n and_o the_o power_n of_o the_o spirit_n increase_v as_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v more_o and_o more_o mortify_v and_o subdue_v so_o the_o testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o water_n and_o of_o the_o blood_n be_v more_o clear_a and_o strong_a the_o more_o godly_a the_o heart_n &_o the_o mind_n grow_v the_o more_o assurance_n we_o have_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v save_v many_o say_v o_o what_o a_o bless_a thing_n it_o be_v if_o a_o man_n attain_v to_o the_o knowledge_n and_o assurance_n of_o this_o salvation_n how_o willing_o will_v that_o man_n love_n and_o obey_v god_n how_o chearefullie_o will_v he_o bear_v all_o trouble_n and_o affliction_n i_o feel_v sometime_o great_a joy_n and_o assurance_n of_o god_n love_n towards_o i_o but_o through_o my_o own_o negligence_n i_o have_v so_o many_o sin_n as_o that_o they_o take_v away_o my_o comfort_n and_o make_v i_o doubt_v then_o consider_v what_o way_n we_o be_v to_o overcome_v such_o doubt_n and_o to_o come_v to_o that_o happy_a and_o bless_a assurance_n mortify_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o flesh_n by_o the_o spirit_n what_o be_v it_o that_o deprive_v thou_o of_o this_o happy_a estate_n and_o make_v thou_o to_o doubt_n be_v it_o not_o through_o the_o want_n of_o the_o clear_a testimony_n in_o thou_o of_o the_o three_o which_o bear_v record_n in_o earth_n thou_o have_v many_o sin_n in_o thou_o which_o thou_o see_v not_o and_o it_o may_v be_v very_o great_a one_o as_o loftiness_n of_o mind_n vainglory_n covetousness_n self-love_n vanity_n of_o mind_n contempt_n of_o spiritual_a thing_n and_o such_o like_a yea_o further_o it_o may_v be_v that_o sundry_a thing_n which_o thou_o deem_v in_o thyself_o to_o be_v virtue_n examine_v they_o well_o by_o the_o light_n of_o god_n word_n and_o thou_o shall_v find_v they_o to_o be_v vice_n so_o long_o as_o it_o be_v thus_o there_o will_v be_v doubt_v for_o where_o be_v the_o testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n with_o the_o water_n and_o the_o blood_n mortify_v the_o vice_n by_o the_o spirit_n use_v all_o diligence_n with_o fervent_a prayer_n and_o all_o other_o good_a mean_n and_o give_v not_o over_o although_o thou_o as_o we_o also_o do_v know_v that_o when_o the_o science_n be_v graft_v into_o a_o stock_n and_o that_o be_v dig_v into_o the_o ground_n if_o the_o stock_n die_v they_o die_v with_o it_o and_o if_o the_o stock_n do_v grow_v and_o spring_v up_o they_o do_v grow_v and_o spring_v up_o with_o it_o even_o so_o the_o holy_a apostle_n teach_v that_o a_o man_n be_v by_o faith_n graft_v into_o christ_n haughty_a person_n or_o a_o idolater_n do_v alm_n deed_n the_o poor_a indeed_o be_v relieve_v by_o it_o but_o they_o do_v not_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a before_o god_n and_o now_o touch_v the_o word_n that_o follow_v know_v this_o that_o our_o old_a man_n be_v crucify_v with_o he_o that_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n may_v be_v destroy_v that_o henceforth_o we_o shall_v not_o serve_v sin_n for_o he_o that_o be_v dead_a be_v free_v from_o sin_n this_o be_v so_o notable_a a_o matter_n touch_v our_o engraft_v into_o christ_n and_o grow_v together_o with_o he_o to_o the_o similitude_n of_o
