which_o they_o call_v the_o truth_n and_o as_o long_o and_o loud_o in_o prayer_n and_o for_o as_o strict_a a_o way_n of_o discipline_n with_o other_o but_o touch_v they_o in_o their_o estate_n or_o name_n call_v they_o to_o costly_a work_n of_o charity_n or_o to_o let_v go_v their_o right_n for_o peace_n or_o public_a good_a or_o to_o confess_v and_o lament_v any_o sin_n that_o they_o commit_v contrive_v for_o yourselves_o and_o trouble_v yourselves_o with_o needless_a care_n because_o you_o dare_v not_o trust_v god_n but_o think_v you_o be_v fall_v to_o your_o own_o care_n and_o find_v self-denial_n require_v we_o to_o renounce_v propriety_n and_o to_o know_v nothing_o as_o our_o own_o as_o the_o monk_n among_o the_o papist_n swear_v to_o do_v as_o part_v of_o their_o state_n of_o perfection_n &_o a_o book_n call_v the_o way_n to_o the_o sabbath_n of_o rest_n dothteach_v we_o answ_n 1._o that_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o propriety_n in_o good_n or_o estate_n among_o man_n be_v contrary_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n who_o have_v make_v man_n his_o steward_n and_o trust_v several_a person_n with_o several_a talent_n and_o forbid_a steal_v and_o command_v man_n to_o labour_v that_o they_o may_v have_v to_o give_v to_o he_o that_o need_v and_o he_o that_o have_v this_o world_n good_n and_o see_v his_o brother_n have_v need_n must_v not_o shut_v up_o the_o bowel_n of_o much_o as_o our_o work_n of_o charity_n be_v rewardable_a though_o it_o be_v but_o give_v a_o cup_n of_o cold_a water_n which_o can_v not_o be_v without_o propriety_n for_o who_o will_v reward_v he_o that_o give_v that_o which_o be_v none_o of_o his_o own_o yea_o it_o be_v make_v the_o matter_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n i_o be_v hungry_a and_o you_o feed_v i_o i_o be_v naked_a and_o you_o clothe_v i_o etc._n etc._n which_o they_o can_v not_o have_v do_v if_o they_o have_v not_o have_v food_n and_o clothing_n to_o bestow_v so_o that_o the_o denial_n of_o propriety_n will_v destroy_v all_o exercise_n of_o charity_n in_o such_o kind_n and_o destroy_v all_o society_n and_o orderly_a converse_n and_o industry_n in_o the_o world_n but_o yet_o when_o god_n call_v for_o any_o thing_n from_o we_o we_o must_v present_o obey_v and_o quit_v all_o title_n to_o it_o and_o resign_v it_o free_o and_o glad_o to_o his_o will_n and_o 3._o there_o must_v be_v so_o much_o vigour_n of_o charity_n and_o sense_n of_o our_o neighbour_n want_n as_o that_o no_o man_n must_v shut_v up_o the_o bowel_n of_o compassion_n but_o as_o we_o must_v love_v our_o neighbour_n as_o ourselves_o so_o must_v we_o relieve_v they_o as_o a_o second_o self_n yea_o and_o before_o ourselves_o if_o god_n service_n or_o honour_n shall_v require_v it_o if_o we_o must_v lay_v down_o our_o life_n for_o the_o brethren_n much_o more_o our_o estate_n so_o that_o level_a community_n be_v abominable_a but_o charitable_a community_n be_v a_o christian_a duty_n and_o the_o great_a character_n of_o sincere_a love_n to_o christ_n in_o his_o member_n and_o therefore_o in_o the_o primitive_a church_n there_o be_v no_o forbid_v of_o propriety_n but_o there_o be_v 1._o a_o resignation_n of_o all_o to_o god_n god_n may_v convert_v they_o answ_n you_o can_v guide_v your_o action_n by_o thing_n unknown_a you_o have_v no_o promise_n of_o their_o conversion_n nor_o much_o probability_n when_o they_o have_v frustrate_v all_o your_o counsel_n and_o mean_n of_o their_o good_a education_n and_o grace_n be_v supernatural_a and_o therefore_o you_o must_v proceed_v upon_o ground_n that_o be_v know_v and_o
