ceremonial_a law_n neither_o do_v nor_o can_v convince_v the_o conscience_n and_o show_v a_o man_n wherein_o he_o have_v sin_v for_o this_o be_v the_o peculiar_a work_n of_o the_o moral_a law_n and_o the_o light_n thereof_o shine_v in_o the_o conscience_n and_o so_o the_o apostle_n rom._n 7.7_o nay_o i_o have_v not_o know_v sin_n but_o by_o the_o law_n for_o i_o have_v not_o know_v lust_n except_o that_o he_o have_v transgress_v the_o law_n and_o no_o man_n can_v have_v this_o conviction_n and_o knowledge_n but_o by_o the_o law_n and_o the_o conscience_n of_o sin_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o his_o know_v by_o the_o light_n of_o god_n holy_a law_n that_o he_o have_v transgress_v and_o that_o he_o be_v a_o transgressor_n of_o the_o law_n as_o rom._n 7.7_o i_o have_v not_o know_v sin_n but_o by_o the_o law_n and_o again_o rom._n 7.8_o 9_o for_o without_o the_o law_n sin_n be_v dead_a that_o be_v it_o stir_v not_o it_o trouble_v not_o my_o conscience_n but_o when_o the_o commandment_n law_n i._n e._n to_o the_o jew_n as_o well_o as_o to_o the_o gentile_n that_o there_o be_v not_o in_o the_o whole_a world_n both_o jew_n and_o gentile_n one_o righteous_a man_n by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n no_o not_o one_o no_o not_o one_o that_o do_v good_a no_o not_o one_o i_o e._n according_a to_o that_o which_o the_o law_n do_v require_v and_o this_o will_v more_o clear_o appear_v by_o a_o just_a consideration_n of_o the_o obedience_n which_o the_o law_n do_v require_v in_o these_o four_o particular_n 1._o the_o law_n do_v require_v personal_a obedience_n to_o the_o holy_a and_o further_a manifestation_n of_o his_o own_o great_a glory_n and_o the_o great_a good_a of_o his_o own_o elect_a and_o therefore_o we_o further_o find_v by_o inquiry_n into_o this_o matter_n by_o the_o light_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o this_o so_o stupendous_a and_o mysterious_a a_o work_n of_o his_o providence_n with_o respect_n to_o man_n be_v necessary_a in_o order_n to_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o own_o great_a glory_n and_o man_n great_a good_a in_o five_o or_o six_o thing_n 1._o namely_o first_o that_o thereby_o he_o may_v take_v occasion_n through_o sin_n and_o the_o transgression_n of_o his_o law_n to_o bring_v to_o light_n and_o give_v forth_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o eternal_a election_n of_o grace_n both_o among_o angel_n and_o man_n before_o
