righteousness_n of_o christ_n and_o our_o righteousness_n hang_v so_o loose_o and_o contingent_o together_o that_o it_o seem_v very_o absurd_a to_o ascribe_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o latter_a to_o the_o former_a if_o indeed_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n do_v proper_o necessary_o and_o infallible_o produce_v a_o inherent_a righteousness_n in_o we_o it_o be_v warrantable_a to_o say_v we_o be_v make_v righteous_a by_o it_o but_o when_o the_o connexion_n be_v so_o accidental_a so_o uncertain_a that_o the_o effect_n depend_v upon_o our_o own_o freewill_n as_o in_o the_o new_a theology_n be_v a_o bless_a accord_n of_o all_o god_n attribute_n mercy_n and_o truth_n have_v meet_v together_o righteousness_n and_o peace_n have_v kiss_v each_o other_o 2_o if_o it_o be_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n or_o the_o gospel_n that_o accept_v this_o sincere_a obedience_n then_o how_o do_v we_o owe_v this_o to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n what_o influence_n have_v that_o upon_o god_n to_o move_v he_o to_o accept_v and_o reward_v that_o sincere_a yet_o imperfect_a obedience_n which_o his_o law_n will_v not_o accept_v this_o be_v the_o thing_n
