word_n he_o make_v himself_o of_o no_o reputation_n that_o if_o christ_n have_v not_o empty_v himself_o of_o that_o divine_a form_n he_o have_v think_v it_o robbery_n or_o a_o prey_n to_o be_v equal_a with_o god_n because_o the_o apostle_n neither_o in_o this_o nor_o in_o any_o other_o place_n of_o scripture_n assign_v it_o as_o the_o reason_n and_o therefore_o see_v their_o exposition_n of_o these_o word_n have_v no_o other_o foundation_n than_o what_o be_v imaginary_a in_o their_o own_o conceit_n we_o be_v not_o oblige_v to_o hearken_v to_o it_o four_o christ_n empty_n himself_o of_o that_o divine_a form_n or_o make_v himself_o of_o no_o reputation_n be_v not_o his_o lay_v aside_o of_o the_o exercise_n and_o demonstration_n of_o divine_a power_n which_o he_o have_v by_o donation_n as_o man_n one_a because_o as_o man_n christ_n be_v not_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o it_o when_o first_o he_o make_v himself_o of_o no_o reputation_n but_o be_v afterward_o invest_v with_o it_o when_o text_n viz._n that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n set_v down_o those_o person_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o who_o eternal_a life_n consist_v make_v no_o mention_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n whereas_o if_o he_o be_v god_n the_o knowledge_n of_o he_o will_v be_v as_o necessary_a for_o the_o attainment_n of_o eternal_a life_n as_o that_o of_o the_o father_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v first_o that_o here_o to_o omit_v the_o mention_v of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n do_v not_o deny_v the_o knowledge_n of_o he_o as_o god_n to_o be_v essential_a to_o salvation_n for_o as_o be_v say_v to_o know_v jesus_n
