but_o also_o do_v so_o dangerous_o inwrap_v the_o very_a elect_a in_o this_o dead_a faith_n that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a the_o very_a elect_a might_n final_o be_v deceive_v and_o perish_v therein_o and_o hereby_o for_o a_o time_n may_v be_v deceive_v because_o they_o do_v not_o mark_v that_o there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o such_o as_o be_v in_o this_o dead_a faith_n the_o first_o sort_n be_v such_o and_o those_o very_o many_o as_o be_v bear_v and_o bring_v up_o in_o the_o outward_a visible_a church_n can_v talk_v of_o christ_n and_o of_o some_o general_a point_n of_o god_n and_o his_o gospel_n say_v that_o they_o hope_v to_o be_v save_v by_o christ_n because_o they_o think_v that_o they_o believe_v and_o be_v of_o that_o true_a religion_n that_o all_o their_o country_n be_v of_o but_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o horrible_a filthiness_n of_o sin_n before_o god_n and_o of_o the_o infinite_a pure_a and_o righteous_a nature_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n and_o thereby_o ignorant_a and_o careless_a of_o free_a justification_n that_o only_o heal_v they_o do_v continue_v in_o their_o old_a corrupt_a nature_n and_o be_v crabtree_n bring_v forth_o only_o the_o sour_a and_o bitter_a crab-apple_n of_o a_o profane_a life_n and_o a_o secure_a and_o careless_a loose_a conversation_n who_o though_o they_o sooth_n and_o flatter_v themselves_o in_o this_o ignorant_a faith_n in_o christ_n righteousness_n which_o do_v perfect_o justify_v before_o god_n and_o be_v carry_v with_o a_o blind_a preposterous_a zeal_n after_o their_o own_o good_a work_n and_o well_o do_n secret_o seek_v to_o become_v good_a holy_a just_a and_o righteous_a before_o god_n by_o their_o diligent_a keep_n &_o careful_a walk_n in_o all_o god_n commandment_n and_o so_o by_o a_o carnal_a understanding_n of_o justification_n be_v carry_v away_o from_o christ_n and_o true_a free_a justification_n to_o hang_v upon_o their_o own_o good_a work_n and_o well-doing_n and_o thereby_o instead_o any_o cast_n before_o these_o the_o precious_a pearl_n of_o christ_n work_n and_o well-doing_n as_o sufficient_a perfect_o to_o justify_v they_o and_o free_o and_o certain_o to_o save_v they_o they_o do_v not_o only_o trample_v under_o the_o foot_n of_o their_o pharisaical_a affection_n the_o same_o precious_a pearl_n but_o also_o fall_v like_a dog_n abarking_a at_o they_o that_o wish_v they_o well_o with_o calumniation_n rail_n and_o slander_n yea_o through_o a_o secret_a inbred_a delight_n and_o blind_a zeal_n of_o esteem_n of_o the_o hide_a vain_a glory_n of_o their_o own_o righteousness_n good_a work_n obedience_n and_o well-doing_n contrary_a to_o the_o prophet_n esay_n and_o paul_n affection_n that_o count_v all_o the_o righteousness_n work_n and_o wel-doing_n of_o their_o sanctification_n but_o as_o filthy_a stain_a rag_n and_o will_v not_o be_v find_v in_o they_o before_o god_n but_o esteem_v they_o as_o dung_n that_o they_o may_v be_v find_v in_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n only_o before_o god_n phil._n 3._o 8_o 9_o through_o this_o secret_a lurk_a vainglory_n i_o say_v of_o their_o own_o holiness_n and_o well-doing_n they_o will_v not_o stick_v to_o fly_v in_o the_o face_n of_o the_o minister_n and_o messenger_n of_o christ_n that_o beseech_v they_o to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o god_n by_o be_v make_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n that_o be_v in_o their_o mouth_n therefore_o happy_a be_v the_o man_n that_o in_o these_o last_o so_o dangerous_a day_n can_v overcome_v and_o escape_v this_o dead_a faith_n by_o get_v on_o the_o white_a robe_n that_o he_o may_v be_v clothe_v and_o that_o his_o filthy_a nakedness_n do_v not_o appear_v and_o do_v anoint_v his_o eye_n with_o eyesalve_n that_o he_o may_v see_v and_o so_o become_v
