pray_v for_o but_o to_o be_v pray_v unto_o and_o worship_v these_o be_v all_o the_o reason_n he_o give_v of_o their_o pray_v for_o the_o dead_a which_o we_o see_v do_v respect_n and_o provide_v for_o the_o instruction_n of_o the_o live_n and_o do_v not_o imply_v any_o such_o state_n of_o the_o dead_a in_o pain_n and_o grief_n as_o purgatory_n suppose_v but_o the_o contrary_a now_o see_v we_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d and_o must_v be_v understand_v of_o the_o sin_n of_o such_o person_n as_o aerius_n speak_v of_o such_o as_o have_v no_o care_n of_o their_o life_n but_o leave_v it_o to_o their_o live_a friend_n to_o pray_v for_o they_o after_o death_n now_o if_o epiphanius_n shall_v mean_v that_o prayer_n do_v in_o part_n cut_v off_o such_o man_n sin_n then_o must_v he_o speak_v according_a to_o that_o merciful_a opinion_n of_o mitigate_a the_o pain_n of_o the_o damn_a by_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o live_n with_o which_o conceit_n some_o of_o the_o ancient_n be_v taint_v as_o we_o shall_v see_v below_o but_o this_o will_v be_v nothing_o to_o purgatory_n second_o if_o his_o meaning_n have_v be_v as_o the_o romanist_n will_v have_v it_o that_o prayer_n for_o the_o dead_a do_v not_o cut_v off_o such_o man_n sin_n but_o that_o there_o be_v another_o sort_n of_o sinner_n
