obedience_n it_o be_v likewise_o of_o use_n to_o the_o regenerate_v to_o restrain_v their_o corruption_n in_o that_o it_o forbid_v sin_n and_o the_o threaten_n of_o it_o serve_v to_o show_v what_o even_o their_o sin_n deserve_v etc._n etc._n to_o what_o be_v here_o declare_v let_v we_o add_v what_o be_v in_o cap._n 15._o §_o 5._o and_o it_o will_v appear_v that_o it_o must_v be_v understand_v of_o preach_v for_o it_o be_v there_o say_v that_o although_o there_o be_v no_o sin_n so_o small_a but_o it_o deserve_v damnation_n yet_o there_o be_v no_o sin_n so_o great_a that_o it_o shall_v bring_v damnation_n to_o they_o that_o true_o repent_v which_o make_v the_o constant_a preach_v of_o repentance_n necessary_a for_o there_o can_v be_v no_o preach_a repentance_n as_o describe_v in_o if_o we_o will_v impartial_o deliver_v the_o truth_n about_o the_o stand_a obligation_n of_o the_o law_n declare_v with_o the_o learned_a dr._n owen_n in_o his_o treatise_n of_o justification_n p._n 201._o that_o that_o be_v a_o antinomianism_n of_o the_o worst_a sort_n and_o most_o derogatory_n to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n which_o affirm_v it_o to_o be_v divest_v of_o its_o power_n to_o oblige_v unto_o perfect_a obedience_n so_o as_o that_o what_o be_v not_o so_o shall_v as_o it_o be_v in_o despite_n of_o the_o law_n be_v accept_v as_o if_o it_o be_v so_o unto_o the_o end_n for_o which_o think_v needful_a to_o mention_v that_o whilst_o we_o be_v declare_v ourselves_o against_o those_o error_n which_o be_v common_o call_v antinomian_n the_o worst_a part_n of_o real_a antinomianism_n may_v not_o escape_v the_o mention_n of_o our_o abhor_v it_o which_o yet_o some_o of_o our_o accuser_n be_v for_o the_o ten_o error_n 10._o that_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n ought_v not_o to_o propound_v the_o offer_v of_o salvation_n unto_o all_o those_o to_o who_o god_n call_v they_o to_o preach_v serious_o invite_v they_o to_o improve_v the_o mean_n of_o grace_n that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v and_o assure_v they_o in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o ministerial_a duty_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o all_o such_o as_o believe_v in_o christ_n because_o they_o want_v ability_n to_o close_v with_o the_o offer_n and_o all_o shall_v not_o be_v save_v our_o opposition_n that_o though_o man_n want_v ability_n to_o believe_v save_o yet_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o gospel_n minister_n to_o make_v the_o offer_n and_o testify_v unto_o they_o that_o whoever_o believe_v and_o repent_v shall_v be_v save_v and_o that_o it_o be_v the_o people_n duty_n to_o make_v use_n of_o their_o natural_a faculty_n with_o such_o external_n mean_v and_o working_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o god_n afford_v they_o that_o they_o may_v believe_v repent_v and_o be_v save_v dr._n goodwin_n in_o vol._n 4._o
