act_n can_v not_o be_v a_o belief_n of_o the_o truth_n reveal_v and_o teach_v by_o he_o infallible_o as_o a_o prophet_n yet_o if_o we_o consider_v the_o matter_n of_o this_o particular_a act_n believe_v formal_o and_o proper_o it_o be_v christ_n as_o a_o priest_n now_o let_v we_o abstract_n though_o not_o separate_v the_o general_a nature_n of_o this_o act_n as_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n and_o a_o belief_n according_a to_o both_o which_o though_o not_o without_o either_o because_o presuppose_v both_o must_v be_v it_o can_v be_v justify_v faith_n than_o it_o will_v appear_v that_o it_o be_v proper_o particular_o justify_v as_o receive_v christ_n as_o a_o priest_n and_o as_o have_v former_o receive_v he_o as_o king_n and_o prophet_n for_o there_o can_v be_v no_o justification_n of_o great_a nor_o contract_n and_o be_v less_o if_o it_o be_v not_o conformable_a it_o be_v irregular_a if_o not_o commensurable_a it_o be_v either_o imperfect_a and_o defective_a or_o or_o else_o fall_v and_o fancy_n but_o the_o truth_n be_v it_o be_v impossible_a for_o a_o act_n to_o exceed_v its_o object_n as_o its_o object_n to_o say_v that_o faith_n as_o a_o duty_n be_v justify_v will_v bring_v in_o all_o other_o good_a work_n and_o duty_n to_o share_v with_o it_o in_o justification_n but_o this_o act_n of_o faith_n true_o understand_v renounce_v all_o good_a work_n even_o at_o the_o last_o
