this_o work_n he_o have_v not_o be_v the_o christ_n for_o he_o must_v answer_v god_n design_n for_o he_o come_v to_o do_v his_o wil._n and_o this_o be_v one_o great_a part_n of_o his_o will_n the_o establish_n of_o this_o free_a powerful_a holy_a rich_a and_o everlasting_a covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o glory_n i_o come_v now_o to_o application_n i_o shall_v pass_v by_o that_o of_o information_n and_o unchangeableness_n that_o be_v in_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n so_o that_o by_o this_o mean_v the_o saint_n be_v keep_v clear_a and_o conscientious_a of_o and_o to_o their_o duty_n in_o the_o covenant_n and_o comfort_v in_o look_v up_o to_o the_o lord_n from_o whence_o their_o strength_n come_v 2_o because_o person_n must_v be_v judge_v by_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o covenant_n on_o man_n part_n and_o condemn_v too_o for_o transgression_n of_o the_o condition_n and_o duty_n of_o the_o covenant_n the_o absoluteness_n of_o god_n covenant_n shall_v not_o be_v the_o rule_n of_o judge_v though_o that_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o all_o true_a happiness_n to_o the_o saint_n yet_o the_o saint_n themselves_o must_v be_v judge_v in_o the_o great_a day_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o guilty_a before_o god_n at_o that_o day_n suitable_a to_o the_o preach_v forth_o of_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o gospel_n whether_o in_o the_o work_n of_o creation_n and_o the_o daily_a good_a the_o world_n enjoy_v upon_o that_o account_n or_o the_o communication_n of_o god_n through_o the_o law_n or_o in_o the_o plain_a ministration_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o true_a believer_n shall_v then_o be_v acquit_v and_o eternal_o pardon_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o covenant_n for_o than_o shall_v be_v the_o perfect_a and_o complete_a administration_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o covenant_n and_o in_o this_o manner_n and_o at_o this_o time_n it_o shall_v make_v the_o comer_n thereunto_o perfect_a isay_n 33._o 24._o heb._n 8._o 12._o then_o the_o inhabitant_n shall_v not_o say_v i_o be_o sick_a for_o the_o people_n that_o dwell_v therein_o shall_v be_v forgive_v their_o iniquity_n 3_o that_o the_o saint_n be_v justify_v and_o eternal_o save_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o covenant_n to_o they_o suitable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o their_o sin_n against_o christ_n etc._n etc._n luke_n 12._o 47_o 48._o thus_o have_v god_n state_v condition_n and_o duty_n in_o a_o absolute_a covenant_n that_o his_o own_o name_n and_o honour_n as_o a_o father_n and_o christ_n authority_n as_o a_o head_n and_o lord_n may_v be_v preserve_v that_o he_o may_v be_v just_a and_o righteous_a when_o he_o judge_v and_o condemn_v four_o that_o the_o person_n who_o through_o faith_n come_v to_o profess_v a_o interest_n in_o this_o covenant_n may_v be_v manifest_a by_o their_o performance_n to_o the_o first_o quaerie_n the_o second_o follow_v q._n 2._o if_o the_o case_n be_v so_o what_o be_v the_o mean_n by_o which_o the_o lord_n exercise_v his_o power_n in_o carry_v on_o his_o work_n in_o his_o people_n engage_v their_o heart_n to_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o covenant_n answ_n beside_o a_o sanctify_a use_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n which_o it_o concern_v the_o saint_n to_o improve_v 2_o tim._n 3._o 14_o 15_o 16_o 17._o a_o faithful_a use_n of_o all_o his_o ordinance_n and_o constant_a way_n of_o obedience_n for_o in_o this_o will_v the_o lord_n be_v find_v prov._n 10._o 29._o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v strength_n to_o the_o upright_a etc._n etc._n i_o say_v beside_o these_o thing_n 1_o a_o true_a sense_n of_o the_o duty_n and_o this_o it_o concern_v the_o to_o indifferency_n in_o the_o work_n &_o keep_v up_o the_o authority_n of_o christ_n it_o be_v no_o wonder_n if_o person_n grow_v empty_a in_o duty_n and_o the_o lord_n leave_v they_o if_o they_o do_v it_o but_o as_o privilege_v only_o and_o not_o also_o as_o duty_n i_o do_v believe_v much_o may_v be_v enjoy_v of_o god_n and_o receive_v from_o he_o if_o there_o be_v more_o conscience_n of_o duty_n to_o he_o doubtless_o if_o a_o son_n will_v submit_v to_o his_o father_n only_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o privilege_n and_o liberty_n and_o not_o of_o duty_n and_o own_o this_o as_o his_o principle_n he_o will_v just_o deserve_v frown_v and_o reproof_n from_o his_o father_n and_o in_o this_o case_n will_v doubtless_o be_v often_o find_v in_o neglect_n of_o duty_n whence_o be_v it_o that_o profess_v man_n and_o woman_n can_v so_o easy_o and_o ordinary_o slip_v by_o and_o pass_v over_o duty_n but_o because_o they_o suppose_v it_o not_o to_o be_v duty_n but_o liberty_n and_o at_o
