from_o hear_v of_o filthiness_n or_o ribaldry_n and_o his_o hand_n &_o foot_n from_o commit_v of_o evil_n now_o if_o these_o be_v good_a work_n as_o they_o be_v indeed_o then_o most_o unhappy_a be_v they_o that_o be_v so_o far_o from_o do_v any_o of_o they_o that_o they_o daily_o and_o hourly_o practice_v the_o contrary_a and_o will_v justify_v themselves_o too_o by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o say_v one_o be_v not_o swear_v tolerable_a do_v not_o god_n say_v thou_o shall_v honour_v i_o and_o swear_v by_o my_o name_n and_o therefore_o they_o conclude_v that_o god_n be_v rather_o honour_v than_o dishonour_v by_o swear_v othersome_a when_o a_o man_n reprove_v they_o for_o it_o will_v ask_v he_o why_o be_v it_o not_o lawful_a for_o a_o man_n to_o have_v god_n in_o his_o mind_n and_o to_o name_v he_o often_o yea_o the_o often_o the_o better_n thus_o these_o reprobate_a miscreant_n justify_v themselves_o in_o their_o sin_n and_o abuse_v the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o their_o own_o destruction_n for_o answer_v to_o the_o first_o i_o grant_v indeed_o that_o god_n be_v honour_v by_o swear_v by_o his_o name_n in_o this_o sense_n when_o a_o matter_n or_o controversy_n fall_v out_o which_o can_v not_o otherwise_o be_v determine_v than_o by_o a_o oath_n then_o be_v we_o be_v call_v by_o the_o magistrate_n and_o those_o that_o be_v in_o authority_n to_o depose_v the_o truth_n by_o the_o invocation_n and_o call_v to_o witness_v of_o the_o name_n of_o god_n or_o else_o in_o a_o private_a action_n betwixt_o party_n and_o party_n to_o end_v a_o controversy_n we_o may_v lawful_o take_v a_o oath_n for_o so_o the_o apostle_n say_v let_v a_o oath_n make_v a_o end_n of_o all_o controversy_n in_o these_o two_o respect_n it_o be_v lawful_a to_o swear_v as_o i_o have_v say_v and_o god_n be_v honour_v thereby_o if_o we_o depose_v the_o truth_n as_o he_o be_v truth_n but_o as_o he_o
