seed_n and_o show_v it_o as_o to_o allure_v the_o fowl_n of_o the_o air_n so_o aâ—_n hardâ—â—d_fw-mi heart_n and_o worldly_a mind_n as_o matth._n 13.15_o may_v have_v knowledge_n by_o the_o word_n but_o they_o only_o boast_v of_o it_o in_o a_o common_a profession_n after_o the_o mortal_a life_n whereby_o they_o may_v be_v make_v the_o better_a instrument_n for_o the_o devil_n to_o possess_v know_v but_o believe_v not_o 2_o the_o second_o sort_n be_v such_o as_o receive_v the_o seed_n in_o stony_a ground_n these_o do_v both_o know_v and_o believe_v the_o word_n so_o as_o with_o joy_n to_o do_v it_o very_o hasty_o for_o as_o the_o stony_a ground_n do_v make_v the_o seed_n to_o spring_v forth_o soon_o so_o these_o take_v the_o word_n quick_o with_o joy_n as_o mat._n 17.13.5.20_o matt._n 4.5_o but_o have_v no_o strength_n of_o heart_n to_o hold_v the_o word_n constant_o in_o the_o faith_n hope_n and_o love_n of_o immortality_n but_o when_o the_o mortal_a authority_n come_v upon_o against_o these_o sort_n of_o people_n that_o with_o such_o joy_n receive_v it_o who_o heart_n also_o be_v not_o prepare_v for_o these_o trial_n do_v faint_a under_o the_o burden_n and_o all_o their_o knowledge_n faith_n and_o obedience_n to_o the_o word_n be_v by_o force_n of_o the_o hard_a persecution_n disdain_v to_o be_v any_o long_o believe_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o as_o stony_a ground_n it_o be_v able_a to_o bring_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o word_n to_o no_o further_a perfection_n therefore_o they_o now_o submit_v their_o heart_n to_o the_o power_n that_o oppress_v from_o without_o they_o by_o which_o all_o their_o former_a light_n be_v conclude_v in_o darkness_n 3._o the_o three_o sort_n be_v such_o as_o receive_v the_o seed_n among_o thorn_n these_o also_o be_v such_o as_o know_v and_o believe_v for_o a_o time_n but_o they_o nourish_v a_o enemy_n to_o the_o word_n within_o they_o namely_o worldly_a care_n desire_v of_o riches_n and_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o to_o immortality_n as_o that_o such_o will_v fall_v away_o of_o themselves_o whole_o to_o embrace_v this_o present_a world_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o these_o be_v never_o perfect_a in_o love_n nor_o sound_n in_o the_o faith_n but_o have_v a_o heart_n and_o a_o heart_n the_o deceit_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v in_o the_o world_n through_o lust_n grow_v natural_o in_o the_o heart_n will_v soon_o exalt_v such_o man_n in_o pride_n of_o knowledge_n to_o fall_v into_o the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o devil_n secret_o for_o thus_o much_o do_v the_o parable_n import_n to_o they_o which_o know_v it_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n to_o perfection_n 4._o the_o last_o sort_n of_o man_n be_v like_o good_a ground_n these_o receive_v the_o word_n as_o the_o child_n of_o wisdom_n and_o the_o child_n of_o light_n they_o know_v and_o believe_v the_o word_n and_o with_o reverence_n they_o prepare_v the_o heart_n that_o it_o be_v gentle_a perfect_a and_o simple_a as_o worthy_a to_o receive_v it_o be_v careful_a that_o what_o they_o know_v and_o believe_v they_o may_v hold_v both_o in_o profession_n and_o practice_n constant_o and_o with_o increase_n wherefore_o this_o good_a ground_n bring_v
