meditation_n from_o thence_o for_o the_o comfort_n of_o our_o soul_n against_o the_o power_n of_o the_o devil_n the_o rigour_n of_o the_o law_n the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n the_o fear_n of_o death_n and_o against_o eternal_a condemnation_n for_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o hereby_o we_o be_v ingraft_v into_o christ_n who_o have_v redeem_v we_o from_o all_o iniquity_n and_o from_o whatsoever_o our_o sin_n have_v make_v we_o liable_a unto_o and_o have_v cleanse_v we_o from_o all_o the_o pollution_n and_o defilement_n of_o sin_n he_o have_v make_v we_o the_o adopt_a son_n of_o god_n and_o have_v give_v we_o all_o the_o privilege_n that_o do_v belong_v unto_o son_n also_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o by_o christ_n we_o be_v invest_v into_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o have_v right_a to_o all_o the_o gracious_a promise_n of_o god_n which_o will_v sweet_o refresh_v our_o soul_n in_o all_o fear_n and_o doubt_n in_o all_o difficulty_n and_o danger_n in_o all_o extremity_n and_o distress_n if_o we_o can_v apply_v they_o to_o our_o soul_n by_o faith_n and_o rest_n upon_o they_o with_o steadfast_a hope_n wherefore_o let_v this_o be_v the_o meditation_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o the_o desire_n of_o our_o soul_n to_o have_v a_o near_a communion_n with_o christ_n that_o we_o may_v say_v with_o the_o spouse_n 16_o spouse_n cant._n 2._o 16_o my_o belove_a be_v i_o and_o i_o be_o he_o or_o to_o say_v thus_o with_o paul_n 20._o paul_n gal._n 2._o 20._o i_o be_o crucify_v with_o christ_n nevertheless_o i_o live_v yet_o not_o i_o but_o christ_n live_v in_o i_o and_o the_o life_n which_o i_o now_o live_v in_o the_o flesh_n i_o live_v by_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n who_o love_v i_o and_o give_v himself_o for_o i_o this_o particular_a application_n of_o christ_n to_o ourselves_o will_v draw_v from_o he_o the_o rich_a jewel_n that_o be_v in_o his_o treasury_n the_o rich_a robe_n and_o the_o best_a garment_n that_o be_v in_o his_o wardrobe_n and_o his_o very_a heartblood_n for_o our_o redemption_n if_o we_o look_v a_o little_a low_o and_o fix_v our_o meditation_n upon_o the_o holy_a ordinance_n of_o god_n we_o shall_v find_v that_o which_o will_v sweet_o comfort_v and_o delight_v our_o heart_n if_o we_o have_v faith_n to_o understand_v and_o believe_v what_o the_o holy_a ghost_n say_v to_o we_o in_o they_o for_o our_o instruction_n and_o consolation_n it_o be_v
