ministry_n to_o be_v poor_a and_o low_a and_o consequent_o despicable_a and_o what_o a_o advantage_n be_v it_o to_o their_o work_n to_o be_v able_a to_o relieve_v the_o poor_a and_o rather_o to_o oblige_v the_o people_n than_o to_o depend_v upoâ—_n they_o and_o to_o be_v above_o they_o rather_o than_o below_o they_o and_o suppose_v the_o pastor_n to_o be_v mortify_v holy_a heavenly_a man_n all_o this_o be_v true_a and_o the_o zeal_n of_o these_o thought_n be_v worthy_a of_o commendation_n but_o that_o which_o good_a man_n intend_v for_o good_a have_v become_v the_o church_n bane_n so_o certain_a be_v the_o common_a say_n that_o constantine_n zeal_n do_v poison_v the_o church_n by_o lift_v up_o the_o pastor_n of_o it_o too_o high_a and_o occasion_v those_o contention_n for_o grandeur_n and_o precedency_n which_o to_o this_o day_n separate_v the_o east_n and_o west_n when_o well-meaning_a piety_n have_v adorn_v the_o office_n with_o wealth_n and_o honour_n it_o be_v as_o true_a as_o that_o the_o sun_n shine_v that_o the_o most_o proud_a ambitious_a worldly_a man_n will_v be_v the_o most_o studious_a seeker_n of_o that_o office_n and_o will_v make_v it_o their_o plot_n and_o trade_n and_o business_n how_o by_o friend_n and_o observance_n and_o will_n to_o attain_v their_o end_n and_o usual_o he_o that_o seek_v shall_v find_v when_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o godly_a mortify_a humble_a man_n will_v not_o do_v so_o but_o will_v serve_v god_n in_o the_o state_n to_o which_o he_o be_v clear_o call_v and_o consequent_o except_o it_o be_v under_o the_o government_n of_o a_o admirable_o wise_a and_o holy_a ruler_n a_o worthy_a pastor_n in_o such_o a_o wealthy_a station_n will_v be_v a_o singular_a thing_n and_o a_o rarity_n of_o the_o age_n whilst_o worldly_a man_n who_o heart_n be_v habit_v with_o that_o which_o be_v utter_o contrary_a to_o holiness_n and_o contrary_a to_o the_o very_a end_n and_o work_n of_o their_o own_o office_n will_v be_v the_o man_n that_o must_v sit_v in_o moses_n chair_n that_o must_v have_v the_o do_v and_o rule_v of_o the_o work_n which_o their_o heart_n be_v set_v against_o and_o how_o it_o will_v go_v with_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n when_o the_o gospel_n be_v to_o be_v preach_v and_o preacher_n choose_v and_o godliness_n promote_v by_o the_o secret_a enemy_n of_o it_o and_o when_o ambitious_a fleshly_a worldly_a man_n be_v they_o that_o must_v cure_v the_o people_n soul_n under_o christ_n of_o the_o love_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o world_n it_o be_v easy_a to_o prognosticate_v from_o the_o cause_n if_o the_o christian_a world_n can_v not_o tell_v by_o the_o effect_n so_o that_o except_o by_o the_o wonderful_a piety_n of_o prince_n there_o be_v no_o visible_a way_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n to_o recover_v the_o miserable_a church_n but_o to_o retrieve_v the_o pastoral_n office_n into_o such_o a_o state_n as_o that_o it_o may_v be_v no_o bait_n to_o a_o worldly_a mind_n but_o may_v be_v desire_v and_o choose_v pure_o upon_o heavenly_a account_n and_o then_o the_o rich_a the_o pastor_n be_v the_o better_a when_o they_o be_v the_o son_n of_o noble_n who_o piety_n bring_v with_o they_o their_o honour_n and_o their_o wealth_n to_o serve_v god_n and_o his_o church_n with_o and_o they_o do_v not_o find_v it_o there_o to_o be_v their_o end_n or_o inducement_n to_o the_o work_n but_o instead_o of_o invitation_n or_o encouragement_n to_o pride_n and_o carnal_a mind_n there_o may_v be_v only_o so_o much_o as_o may_v not_o deter_v or_o drive_v away_o candidate_n
