man_n do_v nothing_o so_o for_o a_o man_n to_o profess_v that_o he_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o yet_o do_v nothing_o for_o he_o it_o be_v a_o vain_a faith_n second_o some_o man_n may_v say_v thou_o have_v faith_n and_o i_o have_v work_n show_v i_o thy_o faith_n by_o thy_o work_n that_o be_v if_o a_o man_n have_v faith_n he_o will_v show_v it_o by_o his_o work_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v abraham_n indeed_o believe_v and_o be_v justify_v by_o work_n but_o rahab_n have_v no_o work_n she_o be_v a_o wicked_a woman_n and_o therefore_o be_v justify_v by_o faith_n to_o this_o therefore_o he_o answer_v that_o she_o have_v work_n or_o else_o she_o can_v not_o have_v be_v save_v unless_o she_o have_v such_o a_o work_n as_o that_o in_o send_v away_o the_o messenger_n her_o faith_n can_v not_o have_v justify_v she_o indeed_o that_o be_v a_o great_a work_n for_o she_o adventure_v her_o life_n in_o it_o and_o last_o say_v he_o as_o the_o body_n without_o the_o soul_n be_v a_o dead_a body_n a_o stink_a carrion_n there_o be_v no_o preciousness_n nor_o no_o excellency_n in_o it_o so_o faith_n without_o work_n be_v dead_a therefore_o look_v to_o your_o faith_n do_v not_o think_v that_o a_o faith_n that_o mere_o take_v christ_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o that_o it_o be_v a_o faith_n that_o shall_v justify_v you_o let_v all_o these_o argument_n persuade_v you_o that_o if_o it_o they_o have_v none_o as_o for_o those_o that_o say_v they_o have_v no_o faith_n yet_o if_o we_o see_v the_o fruit_n of_o faith_n in_o they_o that_o they_o have_v those_o thing_n that_o faith_n bring_v forth_o if_o you_o see_v a_o man_n that_o complain_v he_o believe_v not_o yet_o if_o he_o love_v the_o saint_n if_o he_o endeavour_n to_o keep_v god_n commandment_n if_o he_o continue_v not_o in_o any_o know_a sin_n if_o he_o do_v not_o dare_v to_o omit_v holy_a duty_n nor_o to_o sleight_v they_o certain_o this_o man_n have_v faith_n for_o we_o find_v the_o effect_n of_o it_o there_o although_o though_o we_o see_v no_o flame_n so_o when_o we_o see_v these_o fruit_n in_o a_o man_n we_o may_v bold_o say_v he_o have_v faith_n though_o he_o have_v not_o such_o a_o reflect_v act_n feel_n as_o and_o a_o good_a one_o and_o the_o other_o a_o counterfeit_n so_o when_o one_o man_n complain_v that_o he_o have_v no_o grace_n that_o he_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n and_o yet_o he_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n worthy_a amendment_n of_o life_n and_o we_o see_v the_o work_n of_o his_o faith_n i_o say_v this_o be_v true_a faith_n on_o the_o other_o side_n he_o that_o make_v a_o show_n of_o faith_n and_o yet_o want_v the_o efficacy_n of_o it_o he_o have_v no_o faith_n we_o shall_v learn_v thus_o to_o judge_v when_o man_n profess_v they_o have_v faith_n and_o we_o find_v it_o not_o by_o their_o
