why_o ought_v not_o we_o to_o look_v for_o the_o like_a good_a fruit_n and_o effect_n of_o our_o desire_n and_o labour_n in_o hear_v of_o divine_a lecture_n and_o godly_a sermon_n such_o as_o may_v be_v more_o able_a have_v a_o better_a promise_n to_o convince_v the_o judgement_n convert_v a_o sinner_n save_o a_o soul_n and_o cover_v a_o multitude_n of_o fin_n and_o this_o we_o shall_v yet_o the_o more_o effectual_o find_v and_o feel_v if_o we_o reverent_o and_o obedient_o as_o it_o now_o follow_v in_o this_o scripture_n harken_v to_o the_o messenger_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o lord_n message_n then_o speak_v haggai_n the_o lord_n messenger_n in_o the_o lord_n message_n unto_o the_o people_n say_v i_o be_o with_o you_o say_v the_o lord_n these_o word_n comprehend_v another_o sermon_n of_o the_o prophet_n haggai_n and_o do_v signify_v thus_o much_o in_o effect_n unto_o we_o that_o after_o the_o people_n be_v move_v a_o little_a at_o the_o first_o sermon_n to_o reverence_n and_o obey_v the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n send_v unto_o they_o yet_o notwitstanding_n they_o stay_v a_o little_a and_o then_o the_o prophet_n come_v again_o unto_o they_o both_o to_o take_v some_o fear_n out_o of_o their_o heart_n which_o be_v upon_o they_o and_o also_o to_o make_v they_o a_o promise_n of_o god_n gracious_a presence_n and_o assistance_n in_o this_o great_a business_n fear_v not_o i_o be_o with_o you_o say_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o prophet_n it_o do_v evident_o appear_v that_o in_o this_o work_n of_o the_o build_n of_o the_o temple_n they_o much_o fear_v the_o persian_a king_n lest_o he_o shall_v molest_v or_o hinder_v they_o in_o the_o same_o therefore_o the_o lord_n send_v they_o this_o word_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o fear_v for_o he_o will_v be_v with_o they_o to_o encourage_v and_o strengthen_v they_o and_o cause_v the_o work_n to_o prosper_v in_o their_o hand_n and_o lest_o they_o shall_v think_v he_o speak_v this_o of_o himself_o and_o not_o from_o the_o lord_n the_o prophet_n add_v thus_o then_o speak_v haggai_n the_o lord_n messenger_n in_o the_o lord_n message_n unto_o the_o people_n say_v i_o be_o with_o you_o say_v the_o lord_n show_v thereby_o that_o he_o come_v unto_o they_o not_o only_o as_o the_o messenger_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o that_o the_o thing_n which_o he_o bring_v be_v the_o lord_n message_n also_o when_o david_n be_v trouble_v in_o his_o mind_n that_o he_o shall_v dwell_v in_o a_o house_n of_o cedar_n tree_n &_o the_o ark_n of_o god_n remain_v under_o curtain_n he_o purpose_v in_o his_o thought_n to_o build_v a_o house_n unto_o the_o lord_n nathan_n the_o prophet_n speak_v unto_o he_o say_v go_v do_v all_o that_o be_v in_o thy_o heart_n for_o the_o lord_n be_v with_o thou_o nathan_n that_o speak_v this_o be_v the_o messenger_n of_o the_o lord_n because_o he_o be_v a_o holy_a prophet_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o that_o which_o he_o speak_v be_v his_o own_o and_o not_o any_o message_n which_o the_o lord_n by_o they_o have_v send_v unto_o they_o but_o to_o open_v unto_o they_o the_o whole_a council_n of_o god_n as_o saint_n paul_n do_v that_o they_o may_v say_v with_o more_o such_o of_o our_o prophet_n and_o preacher_n as_o refuse_v to_o stand_v in_o the_o council_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o deliver_v his_o word_n unto_o his_o people_n do_v utter_v the_o dream_n and_o deceit_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n and_o put_v upon_o they_o the_o fancy_n and_o vision_n of_o their_o own_o head_n of_o who_o the_o lord_n may_v just_o say_v now_o as_o he_o say_v of_o some_o such_o prophet_n in_o jeremiahs_n time_n i_o have_v not_o send_v these_o prophet_n yet_o they_o run_v i_o have_v not_o speak_v unto_o they_o yet_o they_o prophesy_v and_o this_o may_v well_o serve_v also_o for_o a_o christian_n admonition_n unto_o all_o such_o as_o be_v hearer_n of_o the_o lord_n prophet_n to_o look_v as_o careful_o to_o the_o message_n as_o to_o the_o messenger_n to_o the_o matter_n as_o to_o the_o man_n and_o to_o try_v the_o spirit_n and_o prove_v all_o thing_n take_v hold_v of_o that_o which_o be_v good_a like_o the_o man_n of_o berea_n who_o be_v say_v to_o be_v more_o noble_a than_o they_o of_o thessalonica_n in_o that_o they_o receive_v the_o word_n with_o all_o readiness_n of_o mind_n and_o search_v the_o scripture_n daily_o whether_o those_o thing_n which_o paul_n have_v teach_v they_o be_v so_o we_o may_v hear_v also_o well_o and_o worthy_o observe_v how_o necessary_a often_o preach_v be_v to_o god_n people_n if_o ever_o we_o will_v
