which_o they_o make_v concern_v christ_n not_o vain_a and_o idle_a talk_n nor_o rejoice_v in_o the_o tiding_n but_o all_o their_o talk_n and_o speech_n come_v from_o sad_a and_o heavy_a heart_n but_o while_o they_o be_v sad_a the_o lord_n come_v to_o they_o and_o he_o come_v to_o comfort_v they_o well_o be_v that_o soul_n that_o be_v sad_a and_o mourn_v for_o christ_n and_o his_o church_fw-mi for_o that_o soul_n shall_v get_v consolation_n out_o of_o christ_n mouth_n but_o if_o where_o there_o be_v matter_n of_o mourning_n thou_o be_v merry_a than_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o come_v to_o comfort_v thou_o it_o be_v true_a these_o man_n be_v sad_a for_o christ_n without_o a_o cause_n for_o that_o be_v the_o most_o joyefull_a day_n that_o ever_o be_v and_o therefore_o they_o shall_v especial_o have_v be_v joyefull_a that_o day_n yet_o suppose_v they_o be_v sad_a without_o a_o cause_n the_o lord_n come_v &_o comfort_v they_o no_o it_o be_v better_a thou_o be_v sad_a for_o christ_n except_o they_o labour_v further_o you_o may_v see_v here_o how_o great_a pleasure_n and_o like_n the_o lord_n have_v to_o see_v man_n painful_a in_o their_o call_n for_o albeit_o they_o have_v be_v molest_v &_o trouble_v all_o the_o night_n with_o labour_v yet_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v they_o to_o cast_v out_o their_o net_n again_o in_o the_o morning_n to_o the_o end_n y_fw-fr t_o he_o may_v give_v a_o blessing_n to_o their_o travel_n indeed_o it_o be_v true_a that_o he_o desire_v not_o our_o labour_n as_o if_o it_o can_v stand_v he_o in_o any_o stead_n he_o give_v not_o a_o success_n to_o it_o as_o if_o it_o merit_v any_o thing_n at_o his_o hand_n for_o he_o give_v success_n &_o increase_v only_o for_o his_o own_o name_n sake_n and_o for_o his_o christ_n sake_n without_o any_o merit_n of_o we_o for_o if_o he_o have_v not_o respect_n to_o himself_o &_o his_o christ_n if_o we_o take_v never_o so_o great_a pain_n we_o will_v find_v but_o a_o sober_a success_n many_o find_v by_o experience_n y_z t_z without_o he_o if_o they_o will_v pain_v themselves_o from_o morning_n till_o evening_n they_o can_v find_v no_o success_n yea_o when_o the_o lord_n withdraw_v his_o blessing_n the_o child_n of_o god_n themselves_o find_v the_o proof_n of_o this_o peter_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o disciple_n who_o be_v with_o he_o toil_v and_o pain_a themselves_o all_o the_o night_n without_o any_o success_n or_o profit_n then_o the_o cause_n chief_o why_o the_o lord_n require_v our_o travel_n and_o labour_n be_v because_o it_o be_v a_o ordinary_a mean_v appoint_v by_o he_o whereby_o we_o shall_v find_v and_o receive_v his_o blessing_n and_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o our_o service_n and_o duty_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v appoint_v to_o us._n for_o when_o with_o a_o simple_a and_o upright_o heart_n we_o be_v labour_v in_o our_o call_n we_o be_v serve_v the_o lord_n therefore_o paul_n charge_v the_o servant_n to_o be_v obedient_a to_o their_o master_n with_o singleness_n of_o heart_n as_o unto_o christ_n mean_v that_o in_o their_o service_n do_v to_o their_o master_n they_o serve_v not_o so_o much_o man_n as_o christ_n ephes_n 6.5_o now_o the_o disciple_n obey_v this_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o they_o cast_v out_o the_o net_n and_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o draw_v it_o for_o the_o multitude_n of_o â—ishes_n this_o their_o obedience_n be_v very_o commendable_a albeit_o they_o have_v be_v trouble_v and_o weary_v all_o the_o night_n and_o have_v catch_v nothing_o yet_o at_o the_o request_n of_o a_o stranger_n a_o man_n who_o they_o know_v not_o who_o they_o suppose_v to_o be_v no_o more_o but_o a_o common_a man_n ready_o they_o yield_v obedience_n &_o cast_v out_o the_o net_n and_o this_o their_o readiness_n testify_v that_o they_o have_v exceed_o great_a patience_n &_o constancy_n in_o endure_v of_o travel_n notwithstanding_o of_o all_o their_o labour_n &_o pain_n precede_v what_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o this_o their_o patience_n even_o partly_o because_o their_o long_a labour_a and_o pain_n that_o they_o have_v take_v without_o any_o success_n have_v humble_v and_o tame_v they_o if_o they_o get_v no_o fish_n they_o get_v a_o better_a benefit_n they_o be_v somewhat_o mortify_v and_o learned_a patience_n partly_o because_o they_o have_v a_o hope_n of_o a_o good_a success_n &_o that_o the_o lord_n shall_v bless_v they_o at_o the_o last_o therefore_o patient_o they_o endure_v in_o labour_v for_o we_o see_v common_o that_o hope_v of_o vantage_n will_v sustain_v a_o man_n and_o cause_v he_o to_o endure_v much_o trouble_n &_o labour_n and_o this_o hope_n if_o it_o be_v in_o the_o lord_n who_o never_o leave_v his_o own_o make_v the_o patience_n and_o endure_v of_o labour_n to_o get_v a_o good_a success_n so_o long_o as_o thou_o live_v cast_v hope_v never_o off_o if_o it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o because_o by_o it_o thou_o gloâ—ifiest_v god_n for_o by_o faith_n and_o hope_n to_o obtain_v all_o good_a thing_n which_o be_v necessary_a either_o to_o soul_n or_o body_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o father_n of_o light_n from_o who_o all_o good_a thing_n descend_v we_o glorify_v he_o in_o the_o multitude_n of_o his_o mercy_n by_o the_o example_n of_o the_o disciple_n let_v we_o learn_v that_o when_o we_o have_v trouble_v and_o pain_a ourselves_o very_o long_o and_o find_v but_o sober_a success_n of_o our_o travel_n at_o least_o to_o be_v humble_v and_o mortify_v and_o to_o continue_v constant_o in_o labour_v wait_a patient_o for_o y_z e_z lord_n blessing_n for_o as_o y_z e_z disciple_n in_o the_o end_n find_v a_o better_a success_n than_o they_o can_v have_v look_v for_o they_o find_v the_o net_n to_o be_v fill_v with_o such_o a_o multitude_n of_o fish_n y_z t_z they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o draw_v it_o so_o shall_v we_o find_v in_o the_o end_n y_o it_o our_o patient_a wait_v for_o y_z e_z lord_n blessing_n shall_v not_o be_v fruitless_a and_o without_o success_n now_o to_o go_v forward_o they_o know_v not_o the_o lord_n when_o at_o his_o command_n they_o cast_v the_o net_n into_o the_o sea_n but_o now_o when_o they_o see_v such_o a_o marueâ—lous_a draught_n of_o fish_n enclose_v within_o their_o net_n they_o begin_v to_o conceive_v that_o it_o be_v the_o lord_n that_o speak_v to_o they_o the_o first_o man_n who_o discern_v he_o be_v john_n who_o describe_v himself_o here_o to_o be_v the_o disciple_n who_o the_o lord_n love_v and_o common_o he_o describe_v himself_o in_o the_o gospel_n by_o this_o stile_n and_o that_o because_o he_o find_v the_o love_n of_o god_n spread_v abroad_o in_o his_o heart_n by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n in_o a_o exceed_a great_a measure_n john_n say_v unto_o peter_n it_o be_v the_o lord_n the_o thing_n that_o make_v john_n to_o know_v that_o it_o be_v the_o lord_n that_o speak_v be_v the_o extraordinary_a and_o marvelous_a success_n that_o they_o find_v in_o their_o travel_n for_o in_o that_o success_n he_o see_v and_o consider_v not_o only_o a_o exceed_a great_a power_n but_o also_o a_o wonderful_a bountifulness_n and_o liberality_n whereupon_o he_o gather_v that_o it_o be_v the_o lord_n that_o speak_v unto_o they_o and_o command_v they_o to_o cast_v out_o the_o net_n and_o direct_v they_o in_o their_o labour_n and_o make_v they_o to_o get_v such_o success_n learn_v then_o here_o by_o john_n example_n when_o the_o lord_n bestow_v his_o benefit_n and_o grace_n on_o thou_o and_o when_o thou_o see_v his_o work_n by_o his_o work_n and_o benefit_n to_o ascend_v to_o god_n the_o giver_n of_o they_o and_o in_o they_o to_o acknowledge_v he_o and_o his_o essential_a property_n his_o power_n his_o bountifulness_n his_o mercy_n his_o providence_n etc._n etc._n for_o if_o we_o weigh_v right_o and_o deep_o consider_v the_o benefit_n and_o work_n of_o god_n in_o they_o we_o will_v find_v as_o it_o be_v a_o seal_n of_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n of_o his_o power_n of_o his_o mercy_n of_o his_o liberality_n and_o bountifulness_n which_o shall_v move_v we_o to_o lift_v up_o our_o eye_n to_o heaven_n to_o behold_v the_o lord_n who_o be_v the_o worker_n and_o giver_n of_o all_o that_o so_o with_o cheerfulness_n and_o pleasure_n we_o may_v glorify_v he_o for_o this_o be_v our_o great_a happiness_n and_o felicity_n to_o glorify_v the_o majesty_n of_o our_o god_n in_o all_o thing_n there_o be_v many_o who_o when_o as_o they_o see_v the_o wondrous_a work_n of_o god_n and_o daily_a receive_v benefit_n of_o he_o they_o so_o rest_v upon_o the_o outward_a work_n and_o benefit_n that_o they_o never_o ascend_v to_o god_n the_o author_n and_o giver_n of_o they_o to_o see_v he_o and_o to_o glorify_v he_o but_o miserable_a be_v they_o who_o so_o do_v what_o ever_o
