break_v down_o whole_o in_o they_o yet_o there_o remain_v some_o part_n of_o his_o image_n there_o be_v understanding_n or_o reason_n and_o such_o thing_n as_o by_o which_o a_o man_n do_v great_o differ_v from_o a_o beast_n sundry_a excellent_a gift_n there_o be_v in_o man_n which_o he_o that_o utterlie_o despise_v offer_v injury_n to_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n and_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o saint_n james_n bring_v it_o in_o as_o a_o absurd_a thing_n that_o the_o same_o tongue_n bless_v god_n and_o curse_v man_n which_o be_v make_v after_o the_o image_n of_o god._n but_o what_o shall_v we_o say_v of_o this_o curse_v of_o man_n be_v it_o rare_a sure_o it_o be_v very_o common_a where_o wrath_n be_v kindle_v and_o displeasure_n arise_v the_o horrible_a curse_n and_o execration_n which_o come_v out_o of_o man_n mouth_n will_v make_v a_o man_n that_o fear_v god_n even_o tremble_v to_o hear_v there_o be_v no_o spare_v of_o any_o but_o this_o deadly_a poison_n of_o the_o tongue_n be_v pour_v forth_o upon_o all_o the_o brother_n curse_v the_o brother_n the_o father_n the_o child_n and_o the_o child_n again_o their_o father_n the_o husband_n the_o wife_n and_o the_o wife_n her_o husband_n if_o a_o man_n will_v as_o i_o may_v say_v defile_v his_o mouth_n and_o the_o ear_n of_o those_o that_o shall_v hear_v it_o he_o may_v utter_v so_o many_o of_o their_o usual_a curse_n and_o execration_n as_o will_v make_v and_o fill_v a_o pretty_a book_n and_o let_v but_o two_o man_n fall_v out_o or_o two_o woman_n which_o have_v not_o learn_v the_o true_a sear_n of_o god_n do_v but_o mark_v the_o bitter_a poison_n of_o the_o word_n which_o will_v come_v from_o they_o what_o revile_n will_v each_o give_v unto_o the_o other_o what_o word_n of_o disdain_n contempt_n and_o reproach_n how_o base_a will_v each_o of_o they_o set_v forth_o the_o other_o for_o to_o be_v what_o be_v it_o almost_o that_o can_v be_v devise_v which_o be_v base_a vile_a and_o loathsome_a but_o the_o one_o will_v term_v the_o other_o by_o it_o and_o with_o what_o vehemency_n be_v it_o use_v to_o be_v do_v there_o be_v no_o more_o regard_n of_o the_o image_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o each_o of_o they_o than_o there_o be_v of_o a_o dog_n what_o a_o poison_n be_v this_o what_o a_o vile_a wickedness_n proceed_v from_o the_o tongue_n saint_n james_n show_v that_o it_o do_v as_o a_o monstrous_a thing_n pervert_v the_o order_n and_o course_n of_o nature_n when_o out_o of_o the_o same_o mouth_n there_o proceed_v blessing_n and_o curse_v do_v a_o fountain_n say_v he_o send_v forth_o at_o one_o place_n sweet_a water_n and_o bitter_a can_v the_o figtree_n my_o brethren_n bring_v forth_o olive_n either_o a_o vine_n fig_n so_o can_v no_o fountain_n make_v both_o salt_n water_n and_o sweet_a if_o it_o be_v against_o the_o course_n of_o nature_n that_o such_o thing_n shall_v be_v then_o do_v it_o follow_v that_o some_o part_n of_o the_o word_n which_o come_v from_o the_o mouth_n be_v as_o sweet_a water_n and_o other_o some_o of_o they_o be_v bitter_a nay_o they_o be_v either_o all_o sweet_a or_o all_o bitter_a now_o it_o be_v most_o evident_a that_o the_o one_o part_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o cursing_z of_o man_n the_o contemptuous_a rail_n reproach_n and_o revile_n be_v not_o sweet_a but_o even_o as_o most_o bitter_a water_n hereupon_o than_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o other_o part_n which_o seem_v to_o be_v very_o sweet_a water_n that_o be_v their_o blessing_n and_o praise_v of_o god_n be_v also_o very_o bitter_a for_o as_o the_o holy_a apostle_n have_v show_v they_o can_v be_v both_o sweet_a and_o bitter_a if_o one_o be_v bitter_a both_o be_v bitter_a but_o how_o can_v their_o blessing_n of_o god_n be_v bitter_a how_o can_v that_o be_v poison_n be_v not_o the_o blessing_n and_o praise_v of_o god_n a_o most_o precious_a and_o a_o most_o excellent_a thing_n do_v s._n james_n set_v that_o with_o the_o deadly_a poison_n of_o the_o tongue_n i_o answer_v that_o the_o blessing_n the_o praise_v and_o the_o honour_v of_o god_n be_v of_o all_o other_o thing_n the_o most_o excellent_a and_o precious_a when_o it_o be_v right_o do_v but_o if_o it_o be_v do_v but_o in_o fashion_n and_o show_v or_o in_o bare_a word_n it_o be_v but_o a_o profane_v and_o a_o abuse_n of_o the_o most_o holy_a and_o glorious_a name_n of_o god_n then_o be_v it_o hypocrisy_n then_o be_v it_o sin_n yea_o even_o a_o abomination_n there_o can_v no_o praise_n be_v give_v to_o god_n so_o great_a but_o it_o be_v true_a but_o every_o thing_n which_o in_o itself_o be_v true_a be_v not_o right_o do_v we_o read_v in_o the_o gospel_n that_o jesus_n will_v not_o suffer_v the_o devil_n to_o confess_v he_o and_o the_o devil_n in_o the_o maid_n that_o utter_v this_o say_n touch_v paul_n and_o his_o companion_n these_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o the_o most_o high_a god_n which_o show_v unto_o we_o the_o way_n of_o salvation_n displease_v paul_n act._n 16._o so_o no_o doubt_n the_o praise_n or_o bless_v of_o god_n with_o a_o wicked_a tongue_n be_v not_o acceptable_a unto_o he_o mark_v then_o brief_o how_o saint_n james_n have_v reason_v to_o prove_v that_o god_n be_v not_o bless_v nor_o honour_v by_o a_o tongue_n which_o curse_v man_n first_o if_o they_o do_v sincere_o and_o from_o the_o heart_n bless_v god_n in_o deed_n how_o can_v they_o curse_v the_o image_n of_o god_n in_o man_n second_o it_o be_v unpossible_a in_o the_o course_n of_o nature_n that_o sweet_a water_n and_o bitter_a shall_v come_v out_o of_o one_o fountain_n and_o so_o be_v it_o that_o the_o true_a praise_v or_o bless_v of_o god_n and_o the_o curse_v of_o man_n shall_v come_v out_o of_o the_o same_o mouth_n let_v all_o then_o consider_v well_o how_o they_o honour_n and_o worship_n god._n for_o this_o be_v it_o wherewith_o man_n do_v bear_v themselves_o in_o hand_n that_o they_o be_v religious_a that_o they_o call_v upon_o god_n and_o that_o they_o ascribe_v glory_n and_o praise_n unto_o he_o they_o never_o consider_v
