as_o every_o great_a and_o presumptuous_a sin_n do_v in_o whosoever_o it_o be_v unqualifi_v that_o person_n for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n grace_n make_v a_o believer_n sure_a of_o salvation_n but_o it_o do_v not_o make_v he_o reckless_a or_o secure_a in_o live_v though_o there_o be_v not_o a_o extinguishment_n yet_o there_o be_v a_o suspension_n of_o his_o right_n upon_o any_o black_a and_o notorious_a fall_n that_o man_n must_v not_o dare_v to_o lay_v claim_n to_o heaven_n that_o have_v dare_v in_o a_o presumptuous_a manner_n to_o provoke_v the_o lord_n our_o holiness_n be_v not_o the_o cause_n of_o our_o salvation_n but_o yet_o it_o be_v the_o way_n thereunto_o he_o which_o by_o any_o waste_n and_o presumptuous_a sin_n put_v himself_o out_o of_o that_o way_n must_v by_o repentance_n turn_v into_o it_o again_o before_o he_o can_v hope_v to_o find_v out_o heaven_n for_o without_o holiness_n no_o man_n shall_v see_v the_o lord_n he_o that_o be_v a_o hundred_o mile_n from_o his_o own_o house_n notwithstanding_o his_o propriety_n thereunto_o shall_v yet_o never_o actual_o enter_v therein_o till_o he_o have_v travel_v over_o the_o right_a way_n which_o lead_v unto_o it_o there_o be_v a_o order_n à _fw-la primo_fw-la ad_fw-la ultimum_fw-la in_o the_o salvation_n of_o man_n many_o intermediate_v passage_n between_o their_o vocation_n and_o their_o glory_n justification_n repentance_n sanctification_n as_o a_o scale_n or_o ladder_n betwixt_o earth_n and_o heaven_n he_o that_o fall_v from_o his_o holiness_n and_o purity_n of_o conscience_n though_o he_o be_v not_o quite_o down_o the_o ladder_n and_o have_v the_o whole_a work_n to_o begin_v again_o as_o much_o as_o ever_o yet_o doubtless_o he_o shall_v never_o get_v to_o the_o top_n till_o he_o recover_v the_o step_n from_o which_o he_o fall_v and_o if_o in_o this_o case_n it_o be_v true_a that_o the_o righteous_a shall_v scarce_o be_v save_v o_o then_o where_o shall_v that_o man_n appear_v who_o god_n at_o the_o last_o shall_v find_v without_o this_o garment_n and_o seal_n upon_o he_o when_o there_o be_v a_o tempest_n he_o who_o sleep_v and_o least_o thought_n of_o it_o be_v throw_v into_o the_o sea_n and_o when_o the_o day_n of_o wrath_n shall_v come_v those_o that_o have_v neglect_v their_o estate_n most_o shall_v doubtless_o be_v in_o the_o great_a danger_n and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o go_v to_o god_n throne_n with_o our_o garment_n and_o our_o mark_n upon_o we_o for_o all_o other_o endowment_n our_o learning_n our_o honour_n our_o part_n our_o preferment_n our_o earthly_a hope_n and_o dependency_n will_v none_o follow_v we_o but_o we_o shall_v live_v to_o see_v either_o they_o or_o the_o comfort_n of_o they_o depart_v achitophel_n have_v wisdom_n like_o a_o oracle_n of_o god_n but_o he_o live_v to_o see_v it_o bid_v he_o quite_o farewell_n for_o he_o die_v like_o a_o very_a fool_n or_o child_n who_o when_o he_o may_v not_o have_v his_o own_o will_n will_v be_v revenge_v upon_o himself_o haman_n have_v more_o honour_n than_o the_o ambition_n of_o a_o subject_n usual_o aspire_v unto_o and_o yet_o he_o live_v to_o see_v it_o bid_v he_o farewell_n and_o die_v the_o base_a death_n which_o himself_o can_v devise_v for_o his_o most_o hate_a and_o despise_a enemy_n jehoiakim_n a_o king_n live_v to_o see_v his_o crown_n take_v its_o leave_n and_o be_v bury_v with_o the_o burial_n of_o a_o ass_n and_o drag_v like_o carrion_n out_o of_o the_o gate_n of_o the_o city_n there_o will_v be_v nothing_o at_o last_o leave_v for_o any_o man_n to_o cast_v his_o trust_n upon_o but_o god_n or_o angel_n or_o our_o fellow_n and_o if_o then_o god_n be_v against_o we_o though_o all_o which_o remain_v be_v on_o our_o side_n alas_o what_o be_v a_o handful_n of_o stubble_n to_o a_o world_n full_a of_o fire_n but_o yet_o there_o will_v not_o be_v that_o advantage_n but_o the_o combat_n must_v be_v single_a between_o god_n and_o a_o sinner_n the_o good_a angel_n rejoice_v to_o do_v god_n will_v and_o the_o wicked_a will_v rejoice_v to_o do_v man_n any_o mischief_n these_o will_v be_v only_o ready_a to_o accuse_v and_o those_o to_o gather_v the_o wicked_a together_o unto_o the_o wrath_n of_o he_o that_o sit_v on_o the_o throne_n o_o what_o will_v a_o man_n give_v then_o for_o that_o holiness_n which_o he_o now_o despise_v what_o covenant_n will_v such_o a_o man_n be_v content_a to_o
