beside_o to_o leave_v with_o they_o direction_n and_o law_n for_o the_o order_n of_o their_o civil_a affair_n we_o may_v take_v notice_n that_o even_o the_o dispose_n of_o civil_a government_n belong_v unto_o the_o lord_n himself_o by_o who_o king_n reign_n and_o prince_n decree_v justice_n prov._n 8.15_o 16._o and_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o the_o power_n that_o be_v be_v ordain_v of_o god_n rom._n 13.1_o neither_o be_v the_o ruler_n only_o from_o he_o but_o the_o government_n also_o as_o they_o judge_v by_o he_o so_o he_o judge_v among_o they_o psal_n 82._o and_o howsoever_o teach_v as_o to_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o those_o that_o be_v in_o authority_n that_o we_o may_v lead_v a_o peaceable_a life_n under_o they_o 1_o tim._n 2.2_o so_o when_o ruler_n so_o govern_v that_o the_o righteous_a may_v flourish_v in_o abundance_n of_o peace_n as_o it_o shall_v be_v in_o christ_n kingdom_n psal_n 72.7_o that_o they_o that_o do_v well_o may_v have_v praise_n and_o that_o which_o god_n himself_o observe_v in_o the_o make_n of_o his_o law_n for_o his_o own_o people_n so_o that_o although_o state_n in_o make_v their_o law_n may_v make_v use_n of_o christian_a prudence_n in_o apply_v they_o to_o time_n place_n person_n and_o emergent_a occasion_n yet_o we_o must_v be_v sure_a that_o all_o such_o law_n must_v have_v the_o moral_a law_n for_o their_o foundation_n which_o be_v right_a and_o equal_a in_o all_o thing_n psal_n 119.128_o be_v withal_o the_o fountain_n of_o all_o justice_n and_o equity_n a_o three_o use_v which_o we_o may_v make_v of_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o judicial_a law_n found_v 3._o though_o those_o law_n bound_v we_o not_o in_o particular_a yet_o they_o do_v in_o the_o general_a ground_n of_o equity_n on_o which_o they_o be_v found_v be_v to_o set_v it_o before_o we_o as_o a_o rule_n to_o guide_v we_o by_o although_o not_o in_o the_o particular_n thereof_o in_o which_o it_o be_v apply_v to_o the_o jewish_a state_n yet_o in_o the_o general_a ground_n of_o equity_n whence_o those_o particular_n be_v deduce_v and_o whereat_o they_o aim_v for_o example_n the_o lord_n command_v his_o people_n to_o make_v
