particular_a consideration_n namely_o 1._o it_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n 2._o it_o be_v without_o the_o law_n 3._o it_o be_v manifest_v be_v witness_v by_o the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n 4._o it_o be_v obtain_v by_o faith_n of_o jesus_n christ._n 5._o it_o be_v by_o way_n of_o imputation_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d unto_o all_o and_o upon_o all_o that_o believe_v i._n e._n by_o way_n of_o imputation_n 6._o it_o be_v extend_v equal_o and_o alike_o unto_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v for_o there_o be_v no_o difference_n i._n e._n betwixt_o one_o believer_n and_o another_o in_o respect_n of_o justification_n and_o this_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n the_o point_n of_o doctrine_n according_o be_v or_o may_v be_v these_o six_o namely_o doct._n i._n that_o the_o righteousness_n which_o 〈◊〉_d by_o faith_n of_o christ_n to_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v i●_n the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n doct._n ii_o that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n which_o be_v by_o faith_n of_o christ_n to_o they_o that_o believe_v be_v without_o the_o law_n doct._n iii_o that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n without_o the_o law_n be_v manifest_v be_v witness_v by_o the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n doct._n iu._n that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n without_o the_o law_n be_v dispense_v and_o bring_v down_o to_o we_o and_o can_v be_v obtain_v by_o we_o only_o by_o faith_n doct._n v._o that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n which_o be_v by_o faith_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v a_o impute_a righteousness_n doct._n vi_o that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n which_o be_v by_o faith_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v extend_v equal_o and_o alike_o to_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o difference_n we_o shall_v begin_v with_o the_o first_o of_o these_o namely_o doct._n i._n that_o the_o righteousness_n which_o be_v by_o faith_n of_o jesus_n christ_n unto_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n for_o so_o the_o apostle_n call_v it_o in_o the_o text_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o again_o v._n 22._o even_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o it_o be_v not_o in_o vain_a and_o without_o special_a reason_n that_o this_o character_n be_v repeat_v and_o inculcate_v again_o and_o again_o in_o the_o text_n as_o also_o in_o other_o place_n for_o herein_o lie_v one_o essential_a difference_n and_o characteristical_a distinction_n betwixt_o all_o other_o righteousness_n that_o can_v be_v pretend_v to_o among_o man_n and_o this_o righteousness_n which_o be_v by_o faith_n namely_o that_o this_o righteousness_n only_o and_o above_o all_o other_o by_o way_n of_o eminency_n be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o this_o will_v appear_v and_o be_v make_v plain_a in_o these_o four_o general_a head_n 1._o in_o that_o god_n alone_o be_v the_o author_n of_o this_o righteousness_n and_o as_o he_o be_v the_o father_n of_o light_n from_o who_o every_o good_a gift_n and_o every_o perfect_a gift_n come_v and_o in_o who_o be_v no_o variableness_n nor_o shadow_n of_o turn_v jam._n 1.17_o so_o this_o good_a gift_n this_o perfect_a gift_n of_o righteousness_n by_o faith_n in_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n come_v down_o from_o above_o from_o he_o who_o be_v the_o father_n of_o light_n and_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o this_o righteousness_n in_o a_o special_a and_o peculiar_a way_n indeed_o as_o all_o thing_n of_o the_o first_o creation_n be_v of_o god_n rom._n 12._o ult_n so_o all_o righteousness_n among_o angel_n and_o among_o man_n be_v of_o god_n and_o he_o be_v the_o author_n and_o give_v thereof_o the_o righteousness_n that_o be_v find_v in_o the_o elect_a angel_n who_o obey_v his_o word_n and_o do_v his_o will_n whatever_o it_o be_v be_v of_o god_n and_o he_o be_v the_o author_n thereof_o for_o he_o plant_v that_o rectitude_n and_o integrity_n at_o first_o in_o the_o angelical_a nature_n and_o he_o have_v preserve_v the_o same_o in_o the_o elect_a angel_n that_o sin_v not_o and_o they_o in_o it_o of_o his_o own_o will_n and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o righteousness_n to_o be_v find_v among_o man_n it_o be_v still_o of_o god_n and_o he_o be_v the_o author_n of_o it_o the_o original_a righteousness_n that_o be_v find_v in_o the_o first_o adam_n before_o the_o fall_n be_v of_o god_n as_o the_o author_n of_o it_o for_o god_n make_v he_o after_o his_o own_o image_n and_o plant_v that_o original_a righteousness_n rectitude_n and_o integrity_n in_o the_o humane_a nature_n conformable_a to_o that_o holy_a and_o righteous_a law_n under_o which_o god_n put_v he_o and_o if_o there_o be_v find_v in_o fall_v man_n any_o thing_n that_o may_v be_v call_v righteousness_n among_o man_n as_o namely_o that_o which_o man_n call_v manner_n and_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o it_o in_o a_o more_o especial_a and_o peculiar_a way_n and_o by_o way_n of_o eminency_n above_o all_o that_o be_v call_v righteousness_n among_o angel_n or_o man_n beside_o this_o for_o this_o righteousness_n be_v of_o god_n and_o he_o be_v the_o author_n of_o it_o as_o it_o be_v indeed_o the_o foundation_n of_o his_o new_a creation_n and_o the_o whole_a fabric_n and_o building_n of_o the_o new_a creation_n be_v found_v upon_o it_o and_o look_v as_o god_n new_a creation_n of_o grace_n in_o and_o by_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n be_v a_o more_o excellent_a workmanship_n than_o that_o of_o his_o old_a creation_n and_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o the_o new_a creature_n in_o a_o more_o especial_a manner_n so_o also_o be_v god_n the_o
