their_o obedience_n flow_v whether_o from_o a_o principle_n of_o grace_n or_o from_o the_o old_a corrupt_a principle_n of_o nature_n new-vampt_a from_o some_o new_a operation_n of_o the_o common_a spirit_n believe_v it_o this_o be_v not_o that_o obedience_n that_o god_n require_v nor_o that_o he_o will_v accept_v a_o inward_a groan_n if_o breathe_v by_o grace_n be_v of_o more_o account_n with_o god_n and_o will_v be_v more_o available_a to_o the_o soul_n than_o the_o most_o pompous_a and_o specious_a service_n of_o unregenerate_a men._n what_o be_v it_o to_o god_n when_o you_o offer_v not_o he_o for_o ever_o what_o be_v it_o that_o man_n expect_v must_v god_n drive_v man_n to_o heaven_n by_o force_n and_o violence_n whether_o they_o will_v or_o no_o he_o have_v lay_v promise_n and_o threaten_n before_o they_o he_o exhort_v and_o command_v and_o if_o these_o thing_n will_v not_o prevail_v with_o man_n who_o faculty_n be_v entire_a who_o reason_n be_v sound_a and_o who_o will_n be_v free_a think_v not_o foolish_o to_o charge_n god_n for_o he_o be_v free_a from_o the_o blood_n of_o all_o man_n and_o sinner_n will_v be_v find_v to_o be_v self-murderer_n and_o self-destroyer_n if_o i_o have_v not_o come_v and_o speak_v unto_o they_o say_v our_o saviour_n they_o have_v then_o have_v no_o sin_n but_o now_o they_o have_v no_o cloak_n for_o their_o sin_n so_o if_o god_n have_v not_o come_v and_o speak_v unto_o sinner_n they_o have_v neither_o have_v sin_n nor_o condemnation_n but_o now_o that_o he_o have_v speak_v to_o they_o so_o often_o and_o exhort_v they_o so_o frequent_o and_o earnest_o therefore_o now_o they_o have_v no_o cloak_n for_o their_o sin_n god_n have_v speak_v and_o his_o speak_n will_v strike_v every_o impenitent_a wretch_n dumb_a and_o silent_a be_v to_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o to_o get_v a_o right_n and_o title_n to_o he_o and_o save_a interest_n in_o he_o answ_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v the_o merit_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o our_o it_o be_v not_o from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n but_o as_o carnal_a man_n be_v apt_a to_o mistake_v the_o first_o work_n of_o conviction_n for_o melancholy_a or_o for_o temptation_n so_o this_o your_o old_a unchanged_a heart_n and_o this_o be_v the_o first_o thing_n christ_n require_v second_o salvation_n 2._o those_o that_o have_v grace_n must_v labour_v for_o salvation_n christ_n expect_v and_o require_v that_o those_o that_o have_v grace_n shall_v put_v forth_o the_o utmost_a strength_n and_o power_n thereof_o in_o labour_v after_o that_o salvation_n that_o he_o have_v purchase_v for_o they_o he_o have_v merit_v salvation_n for_o they_o but_o it_o be_v to_o be_v obtain_v by_o they_o through_o their_o own_o labour_n and_o industry_n be_v not_o that_o which_o christ_n have_v already_o do_v sufficient_a for_o they_o be_v it_o not_o enough_o that_o he_o have_v reconcile_v they_o to_o god_n by_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o covenant_n that_o he_o have_v make_v their_o peace_n and_o procure_v their_o pardon_n for_o they_o but_o must_v christ_n repent_v and_o believe_v and_o obey_v for_o they_o this_o be_v not_o to_o make_v he_o a_o saviour_n but_o a_o drudge_n he_o have_v be_v a_o act_n of_o mercy_n and_o free_a grace_n as_o it_o be_v because_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n if_o there_o be_v no_o salvation_n promise_v how_o much_o more_o be_v free_a grace_n magnify_v and_o glorify_v in_o accept_v and_o reward_v a_o weak_a and_o imperfect_a obedience_n with_o that_o salvation_n which_o the_o most_o perfect_a obedience_n can_v deserve_v for_o when_o we_o have_v do_v all_o we_o have_v do_v but_o that_o which_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o do_v and_o if_o we_o can_v say_v so_o do_v the_o master_n thank_v the_o servant_n no_o but_o alas_o in_o many_o thing_n we_o offend_v all_o this_o but_o the_o effect_n of_o rich_a and_o glorious_a grace_n what_o be_v this_o but_o to_o bestow_v heaven_n not_o according_a to_o merit_v but_o rather_o according_a to_o our_o demerit_n obedience_n 3._o there_o be_v no_o comparison_n between_o salvation_n and_o our_o obedience_n three_o because_o there_o be_v no_o comparison_n betwixt_o salvation_n and_o our_o obedience_n and_o therefore_o free_a grace_n shine_v forth_o still_o it_o be_v free_a grace_n though_o we_o do_v obey_v we_o obey_v as_o creature_n god_n reward_v as_o a_o god_n our_o obedience_n be_v temporal_a but_o
