air_n yet_o more_o pure_a and_o light_a than_o the_o earth_n be_v natural_o above_o the_o earth_n contain_v it_o on_o every_o side_n and_o that_o be_v the_o proper_a place_n of_o the_o water_n but_o the_o almighty_a creator_n do_v shut_v it_o up_o in_o narrow_a limit_n command_v the_o water_n which_o cover_v the_o whole_a earth_n to_o gather_v themselves_o together_o into_o one_o place_n of_o the_o earth_n for_o this_o purpose_n that_o the_o dry_a land_n may_v appear_v for_o the_o use_n of_o man_n and_o beast_n etc._n etc._n which_o he_o have_v appoint_v to_o live_v upon_o the_o earth_n genes_n 1.9_o yet_o so_o that_o he_o give_v it_o leave_v now_o to_o overlook_v the_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o lieu_n of_o that_o right_n which_o it_o have_v to_o stand_v above_o by_o its_o creation_n as_o you_o may_v see_v if_o you_o look_v on_o the_o sea_n where_o the_o shore_n be_v level_a and_o not_o mountainous_a yet_o have_v the_o lord_n by_o his_o decree_n as_o it_o be_v bar_v and_o bolt_v it_o up_o job_n 38.10_o 11._o saying_n hitherto_o shall_v you_o come_v but_o no_o far_o and_o here_o shall_v thy_o proud_a wave_n be_v stay_v psal._n 33.7_o he_o gather_v the_o water_n increase_n of_o happiness_n and_o contentment_n for_o he_o be_v all-sufficient_a of_o himself_o and_o since_o the_o creature_n be_v meeâ—ly_o nothing_o have_v no_o be_v at_o all_o without_o he_o of_o the_o creature_n which_o may_v be_v general_o consider_v in_o the_o whole_a as_o the_o lord_n look_v upon_o all_o together_o and_o see_v every_o thing_n that_o he_o have_v make_v and_o behold_v it_o be_v very_o good_a which_o you_o must_v understand_v be_v mean_v 1._o of_o a_o natural_a goodness_n or_o perfection_n in_o every_o creature_n whereby_o every_o one_o be_v make_v perfect_a and_o complete_a in_o its_o kind_n without_o all_o natural_a defect_n 2._o of_o a_o special_a goodness_n or_o holiness_n in_o the_o reasonable_a creature_n angel_n and_o men._n thus_o of_o the_o creation_n day_n work_v of_o this_o wonderful_a creation_n and_o to_o proceed_v distinct_o and_o orderly_o in_o his_o work_n teach_v we_o by_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o work_n only_o by_o his_o word_n without_o instrument_n that_o he_o can_v have_v do_v all_o at_o once_o which_o now_o he_o do_v at_o several_a time_n it_o be_v as_o easy_a for_o he_o at_o one_o word_n to_o say_v let_v there_o be_v a_o perfect_a world_n as_o at_o one_o word_n to_o say_v let_v there_o be_v light_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n by_o this_o stay_n and_o pause_v in_o work_v teach_v we_o to_o stay_v in_o our_o thought_n and_o to_o cause_v our_o mind_n to_o dwell_v upon_o his_o glorious_a work_n our_o mind_n i_o say_v which_o be_v of_o narrow_a capaciâ—y_n and_o can_v but_o take_v in_o thing_n by_o piecemeal_o into_o their_o consideration_n the_o eye_n of_o our_o soul_n be_v but_o narrow_a and_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o they_o at_o one_o glance_n to_o view_v the_o whole_a frame_n of_o this_o glorious_a building_n but_o rather_o by_o settle_a meditation_n to_o fix_v themselves_o upâ—n_o it_o and_o leisurely_o to_o pass_v from_o one_o part_n and_o point_n thereof_o to_o another_o and_o in_o every_o part_n to_o admire_v the_o infinite_a and_o all-sufficient_a perfection_n of_o the_o worker_n it_o be_v that_o which_o may_v make_v we_o ashamed_a and_o tremble_v also_o 〈◊〉_d god_n shall_v call_v our_o conscience_n to_o account_v few_o of_o we_o can_v say_v that_o of_o â—ll_o the_o time_n we_o have_v spend_v ever_o sithhence_a we_o have_v the_o use_n of_o ouâ—_n understanding_n in_o a_o serious_a meditation_n on_o god_n work_n to_o this_o end_n that_o we_o may_v glorify_v the_o maker_n will_v not_o make_v up_o one_o week_n not_o one_o six_o day_n not_o so_o long_o as_o the_o lord_n be_v in_o bring_v they_o forth_o be_v not_o this_o a_o shame_n for_o man_n who_o be_v make_v of_o purpose_n to_o glorify_v god_n in_o his_o work_n that_o he_o shall_v not_o in_o all_o his_o life_n spend_v so_o much_o time_n in_o meditate_v on_o the_o work_n of_o god_n notwithstanding_o his_o dulness_n and_o sloth_n of_o apprehension_n as_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v to_o take_v in_o make_v of_o they_o notwithstanding_o his_o omnipotency_n which_o can_v have_v make_v they_o all_o in_o less_o than_o one_o minute_n as_o easy_o as_o in_o a_o thousand_o year_n thâ—s_v therefore_o shall_v cause_v we_o to_o humble_v ourselves_o for_o ouâ—_n fail_v in_o this_o regard_n whereof_o we_o be_v guilty_a in_o a_o high_a degree_n and_o move_v we_o to_o spend_v more_o hour_n in_o study_v in_o the_o holy_a place_n sai_z let_v he_o that_o read_v consider_v so_o say_v i_o of_o these_o great_a work_n of_o god_n creation_n which_o we_o may_v call_v the_o book_n of_o nature_n write_v with_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n let_v he_o that_o read_v they_o consider_v let_v he_o that_o look_v upon_o they_o not_o do_v it_o with_o a_o careless_a eye_n but_o with_o attentive_a thought_n and_o most_o effectual_a meditation_n you_o may_v not_o herein_o be_v like_o idle_a reader_n that_o only_o loâ—k_v at_o the_o begin_n of_o a_o book_n to_o see_v the_o name_n and_o then_o throw_v it_o away_o again_o and_o what_o if_o i_o shall_v say_v it_o be_v expedient_a herein_o to_o follow_v the_o same_o order_n in_o consider_v of_o the_o lord_n work_n as_o the_o lord_n himself_o do_v in_o their_o creation_n that_o be_v to_o bind_v ourselves_o to_o do_v the_o work_n of_o the_o day_n in_o its_o day_n namely_o on_o the_o same_o day_n wherein_o each_o work_n be_v do_v to_o meditate_v on_o the_o work_n of_o that_o day_n i_o will_v not_o say_v that_o he_o sin_v who_o do_v not_o follow_v this_o order_n i_o know_v no_o such_o warrant_n but_o this_o i_o say_v consider_v our_o weakness_n who_o must_v have_v time_n to_o make_v a_o distinct_a consideration_n of_o thing_n consider_v how_o apt_a we_o be_v to_o be_v carry_v away_o with_o idle_a impertinent_a and_o unprofitable_a muse_n and_o so_o to_o look_v away_o fâ—om_a those_o thing_n whereupon_o our_o thought_n shall_v especial_o be_v fix_v consider_v the_o great_a and_o admirable_a variety_n of_o creature_n and_o of_o natural_a quality_n and_o perfection_n in_o those_o creature_n all_o issue_v from_o that_o one_o single_a but_o all-sufficient_a perfection_n of_o a_o infinite_a god_n especial_o consider_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v be_v please_v not_o only_o to_o let_v we_o know_v how_o many_o day_n he_o spend_v in_o the_o creation_n of_o all_o the_o whole_a but_o also_o particular_o and_o distinct_o to_o acquaint_v we_o snow_n and_o other_o meteor_n oh_o consider_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n in_o give_v thou_o this_o admirable_a creature_n of_o the_o air_n whâ—ch_n feed_v thou_o with_o breath_n continual_o whereof_o breathe_v out_o again_o in_o a_o visible_a manner_n so_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n work_v and_o convey_v his_o heavenly_a influence_n in_o a_o hide_a invisible_a manner_n into_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o faithful_a but_o be_v visible_o breathe_v forth_o again_o as_o it_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o its_o fruit_n in_o holy_a speech_n and_o heavenly_a action_n that_o man_n may_v see_v the_o good_a work_n which_o he_o bring_v forth_o in_o the_o godly_a and_o glorify_v their_o father_n who_o be_v in_o heaven_n wonderful_a be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o air_n and_o according_a to_o it_o our_o
