dispensation_n to_o be_v well_o consider_v and_o improve_v by_o god_n people_n in_o such_o a_o condition_n have_v thus_o clear_v this_o mistake_n if_o we_o look_v upon_o this_o doctrine_n as_o point_v out_o the_o lot_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n which_o be_v bildad_n scope_n in_o it_o it_o be_v true_a indeed_o that_o whatever_o be_v god_n indulgence_n towards_o some_o of_o they_o yet_o by_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n he_o deserve_v this_o as_o his_o lot_n and_o portion_n leu._n 26.16_o and_o so_o the_o general_n doctrine_n may_v teach_v 1._o among_o other_o calamity_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n terror_n from_o god_n be_v a_o part_n of_o his_o portion_n for_o so_o be_v here_o suppose_a that_o he_o be_v assault_v with_o terror_n as_o indeed_o in_o many_o respect_v he_o be_v obnoxious_a to_o they_o and_o lie_v under_o the_o hazard_n of_o such_o a_o stroke_n from_o god_n so_o that_o 1._o whatever_o be_v his_o prosperous_a condition_n yet_o he_o have_v no_o cause_n to_o sleep_v in_o a_o sound_a skin_n for_o god_n have_v terror_n as_o his_o sergeant_n to_o arrest_v he_o when_o he_o will_n 2._o whatever_o be_v his_o trouble_n within_o time_n yet_o his_o terror_n and_o fear_n may_v just_o be_v above_o his_o trouble_n and_o may_v tell_v he_o that_o those_o be_v but_o the_o begin_n of_o sorrow_n as_o his_o conscience_n may_v tell_v he_o he_o deserve_v more_o yea_o not_o only_o what_o he_o feel_v or_o foresee_v but_o what_o he_o can_v but_o imagine_v and_o apprehend_v may_v be_v his_o terror_n 3._o his_o fear_n in_o justice_n may_v be_v not_o ordinary_a but_o singular_a dreadful_a and_o full_a of_o terror_n he_o not_o have_v god_n reconcile_v to_o he_o to_o who_o he_o may_v flee_v in_o such_o a_o distress_n 4._o beside_o all_o his_o exercise_n about_o outward_a and_o temporal-affliction_n god_n can_v raise_v terror_n in_o his_o conscience_n and_o give_v he_o a_o hell_n there_o now_o albeit_o all_o this_o do_v not_o befall_v every_o wicked_a man_n yet_o the_o apprehension_n of_o those_o thing_n and_o how_o they_o be_v deserve_v by_o they_o may_v affright_v they_o from_o secure_a trust_n in_o their_o prosperity_n and_o outward_a comfort_n see_v prov._n 23.34_o isa_n 50.11_o and_o from_o please_v themselves_o in_o a_o quiet_a conscience_n when_o yet_o it_o be_v not_o a_o good_a conscience_n as_o not_o be_v sprinkle_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n nor_o purge_v from_o dead_a work_n doct._n 2._o whatever_o shift_v wicked_a man_n make_v under_o other_o trouble_n isa_n 9.9_o 10._o and_o elsewhere_o yet_o the_o terror_n of_o god_n when_o it_o come_v upon_o they_o will_v surround_v and_o shut_v they_o in_o on_o every_o hand_n for_o so_o be_v here_o declare_v that_o terror_n shall_v be_v on_o every_o side_n wherever_o he_o will_v turn_v he_o issue_n without_o god_n or_o without_o go_v to_o he_o as_o the_o wicked_a endeavour_n to_o do_v and_o sometime_o the_o godly_a be_v tempt_v to_o take_v that_o course_n lest_o god_n be_v provoke_v to_o send_v over-whelming_a terror_n where_o no_o such_o issue_n will_v be_v find_v 3._o when_o the_o godly_a be_v at_o any_o time_n thus_o hem_v in_o on_o all_o hand_n as_o they_o ought_v to_o read_v their_o own_o stubborness_n in_o it_o hos_fw-la 2.5_o 6_o 7._o and_o their_o unwillingness_n to_o deny_v themselves_o and_o trust_v entire_o on_o god_n 2_o cor._n 1.8_o 9_o so_o be_v right_o doct._n 3._o how_o stout_a soever_o the_o wicked_a may_v be_v under_o other_o trouble_n and_o resolute_a to_o bear_v they_o when_o they_o can_v avoid_v they_o yet_o they_o will_v find_v themselves_o too_o weak_a a_o party_n to_o grapple_v with_o terror_n from_o god_n for_o terror_n shall_v make_v he_o afraid_a on_o every_o side_n and_o drive_v he_o to_o his_o foot_n or_o make_v he_o ready_a to_o betake_v himself_o to_o his_o heel_n and_o though_o this_o be_v unjust_o apply_v to_o job_n who_o be_v never_o so_o afraid_a but_o he_o expect_v god_n will_v be_v his_o salvation_n chap._n 13.16_o yet_o it_o hold_v true_a of_o every_o wicked_a man_n when_o terror_n come_v upon_o he_o that_o he_o be_v a_o weak_a creature_n and_o god_n a_o strong_a god_n and_o this_o stroke_n seize_v upon_o the_o very_a fort_n of_o his_o courage_n he_o can_v but_o be_v confound_v and_o dismay_v and_o this_o warn_v those_o who_o be_v stouthearted_a under_o other_o trouble_n to_o expect_v that_o god_n will_v send_v terror_n to_o suppress_v their_o obstinacy_n as_o be_v say_v in_o another_o case_n ezek._n 28.6_o 9_o and_o such_o as_o be_v under_o the_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n aught_o to_o look_v on_o stoop_v and_o humility_n as_o their_o only_a safety_n 4._o it_o be_v the_o disposition_n of_o wicked_a man_n under_o judgement_n and_o terror_n to_o run_v the_o fast_o away_o from_o god_n for_o adam_n they_o seek_v to_o hide_v themselves_o from_o god_n and_o be_v ready_a to_o run_v any_o where_o before_o they_o run_v to_o god_n for_o terror_n do_v represent_v god_n as_o dreadful_a especial_o to_o they_o who_o never_o taste_v of_o his_o love_n and_o therefore_o they_o run_v away_o from_o he_o they_o know_v not_o god_n scope_n in_o those_o terror_n when_o he_o let_v they_o loose_v on_o godly_a man_n which_o be_v to_o drive_v they_o to_o himself_o and_o therefore_o they_o turn_v not_o to_o he_o who_o smite_v they_o their_o guilt_n if_o they_o have_v any_o sense_n of_o it_o add_v to_o their_o amazement_n and_o help_v to_o suggest_v sad_a thought_n of_o god_n to_o they_o and_o they_o be_v just_o thus_o scare_v away_o by_o terror_n from_o god_n who_o be_v still_o careful_a not_o to_o will_v want_v the_o use_n of_o it_o when_o they_o have_v most_o need_n yea_o minister_n who_o dispense_v consolation_n to_o other_o may_v yet_o be_v disconsolate_a enough_o themselves_o till_o god_n to_o fear_n god_n and_o walk_v upright_o of_o which_o chap._n 1.1_o be_v only_o mercenary_a because_o thou_o trust_v and_o hope_v to_o continue_v in_o prosperity_n thereby_o see_v now_o when_o thou_o be_v advise_v to_o be_v exercise_v about_o offend_v as_o the_o consequent_a of_o the_o former_a step_n 10._o when_o man_n be_v right_o exercise_v about_o sin_n especial_o under_o trouble_n they_o
