entertain_v you_o after_o all_o denial_n ah_o soul_n what_o a_o glorious_a entertainment_n do_v christ_n give_v this_o poor_a woman_n at_o last_o well_o therefore_o strengthen_v faith_n and_o that_o will_v help_v you_o to_o do_v as_o this_o woman_n do_v and_o than_o you_o shall_v in_o the_o issue_n speed_n even_o as_o she_o do_v but_o of_o that_o in_o the_o next_o christ_n will_v be_v certain_o deal_v with_o he_o very_o comfortable_o how_o be_v the_o face_n of_o this_o beggar_n lighten_v how_o be_v his_o heart_n refresh_v just_a so_o nay_o great_a than_o so_o be_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n cheer_v when_o our_o lord_n answer_v and_o speak_v unto_o she_o the_o word_n that_o i_o have_v read_v she_o have_v as_o it_o be_v lie_v long_o and_o cry_v loud_o and_o beg_v hard_o and_o no_o answer_n but_o now_o at_o last_o the_o lord_n answer_v and_o the_o lord_n answer_v sweet_o oh_o woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n be_v it_o unto_o thou_o even_o we_o thou_o will_v through_o all_o difficulty_n and_o discouragement_n in_o the_o way_n to_o christ_n only_a faith_n remember_v it_o sir_n some_o of_o you_o have_v a_o little_a knowledge_n and_o other_o of_o you_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o profession_n some_o of_o you_o talk_v much_o and_o the_o poor_a think_v it_o may_v be_v as_o well_o of_o himself_o as_o he_o that_o say_v most_o but_o remember_v whatever_o you_o know_v talk_v or_o think_v nothing_o will_v carry_v you_o to_o jesus_n christ_n but_o faith_n you_o may_v have_v fine_a word_n and_o good_a wish_n but_o alas_o word_v and_o wish_v be_v not_o come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n why_o this_o woman_n have_v other_o gift_n and_o other_o grace_n she_o have_v much_o humility_n and_o she_o have_v much_o patience_n and_o she_o have_v a_o fine_a gift_n of_o prayer_n etc._n etc._n yet_o it_o be_v not_o say_v woman_n much_o be_v thy_o patience_n or_o great_a be_v thy_o love_n strong_a be_v thy_o prayer_n but_o oh_o woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n etc._n etc._n we_o do_v open_v the_o point_n at_o large_a and_o press_v it_o upon_o you_o in_o the_o application_n in_o divers_a particular_n which_o i_o shall_v not_o add_v unto_o or_o repeat_v only_o i_o beseech_v you_o my_o belove_a let_v this_o abide_v upon_o your_o heart_n streng_v then_o faith_n when_o you_o come_v to_o die_v you_o will_v then_o see_v a_o need_n of_o christ_n if_o you_o do_v not_o now_o and_o if_o you_o have_v not_o a_o live_a faith_n you_o can_v have_v a_o live_a christ_n and_o then_o be_v your_o soul_n dead_a before_o death_n faith_n be_v another_o kind_n of_o thing_n than_o the_o world_n be_v aware_a of_o we_o hardly_o know_v the_o notion_n now_o but_o we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o know_v the_o preciousness_n of_o it_o as_o indeed_o it_o be_v precious_a but_o by_o the_o experience_n of_o it_o now_o the_o great_a experience_n of_o faith_n be_v see_v in_o that_o bless_a business_n of_o go_v to_o christ_n in_o that_o we_o have_v this_o experience_n of_o the_o use_n power_n and_o price_n of_o faith_n that_o whatever_o we_o have_v and_o pretend_v unto_o nothing_o but_o sincere_a single_a faith_n will_v carry_v we_o unto_o jesus_n christ_n but_o i_o proceed_v the_o second_o thing_n which_o indeed_o be_v the_o principal_a thing_n be_v this_o the_o kindness_n of_o christ_n now_o to_o this_o woman_n you_o see_v his_o commendation_n of_o her_o faith_n well_o now_o mark_v his_o condescension_n to_o she_o how_o much_o do_v christ_n condescend_v to_o this_o poor_a woman_n he_o condescend_v to_o talk_v with_o she_o commend_v her_o faith_n and_o comply_v with_o her_o wish_n to_o heal_v her_o daughter_n etc._n etc._n oh_o bless_a condescension_n the_o observation_n from_o the_o whole_a will_v be_v this_o doct._n that_o however_o the_o lord_n jesus_n may_v deal_v at_o first_o with_o poor_a soul_n that_o come_v to_o he_o in_o the_o issue_n he_o will_v deal_v very_o kind_o
but_o also_o and_o especial_o for_o their_o soul_n this_o be_v the_o first_o particular_a but_o the_o second_o be_v that_o which_o i_o will_v stand_v upon_o consider_v that_o this_o distemper_n upon_o creature_n the_o lord_n permit_v and_o sanctify_v that_o to_o make_v the_o soul_n long_o and_o labour_v that_o they_o may_v be_v precious_a in_o his_o sight_n and_o sickness_n upon_o we_o and_o we_o the_o lord_n do_v sometime_o kill_v the_o child_n body_n to_o save_v the_o mother_n soul_n take_v away_o the_o husband_n the_o he_o may_v bring_v the_o wife_n home_o to_o himself_o we_o may_v give_v many_o notable_a instance_n as_o in_o matth._n 8.2_o there_o you_o find_v a_o leper_n come_v to_o christ_n and_o what_o occasion_n bring_v he_o true_o this_o man_n leprosy_n bring_v he_o to_o christ_n affliction_n i_o think_v i_o hear_v the_o lord_n sometime_o speak_v of_o a_o poor_a creature_n after_o this_o manner_n there_o be_v such_o a_o one_o who_o so_o long_o as_o he_o can_v be_v well_o and_o as_o by_o other_o way_n there_o be_v only_o one_o objection_n that_o must_v be_v answer_v object_n but_o do_v not_o his_o seem_v to_o give_v some_o advantage_n to_o those_o who_o cry_v down_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n it_o have_v be_v a_o seem_o fair_a but_o a_o real_o poor_a argument_n of_o those_o to_o tell_v we_o that_o god_n can_v make_v any_o thing_n a_o ordinance_n and_o therefore_o they_o cast_v off_o preach_v and_o say_v what_o need_v that_o can_v and_o do_v not_o god_n work_v sometime_o without_o that_o repl._n i_o answer_v general_o my_o brethren_n one_o good_a mean_n may_v cast_v upon_o a_o sickbed_n and_o now_o say_v he_o i_o remember_v such_o a_o instruction_n affliction_n bring_v home_o and_o drive_v home_o a_o word_n former_o preach_v unto_o we_o which_o we_o hear_v
