say_a exhortation_n than_o a_o grave_a admonition_n serious_o to_o consider_v the_o dignity_n of_o god_n child_n and_o the_o unspeakable_a yea_o the_o admirable_a love_n of_o god_n towards_o they_o in_o advance_v they_o to_o the_o say_a dignity_n for_o so_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o preface_n and_o grave_a exhortation_n to_o the_o consideration_n of_o god_n love_n in_o make_v man_n his_o child_n lay_v two_o main_a argument_n for_o the_o better_a provoke_v of_o man_n to_o the_o love_n of_o god_n child_n one_o from_o the_o example_n of_o god_n love_n towards_o they_o in_o make_v they_o his_o child_n this_o be_v far_o more_o than_o all_o other_o can_v do_v for_o they_o the_o other_o from_o the_o excellency_n of_o they_o that_o be_v so_o make_v his_o child_n for_o ought_v not_o all_o to_o love_v they_o who_o god_n love_v especial_o who_o he_o so_o love_v as_o to_o make_v they_o his_o child_n the_o more_o excellent_a also_o that_o any_o be_v be_v they_o not_o the_o more_o worthy_a ourselves_o and_o to_o be_v pray_v for_o by_o other_o that_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o understanding_n may_v be_v further_o lighten_v ephes_n 1._o 18._o and_o this_o weakness_n of_o sight_n in_o our_o like_a john_n 20._o 24._o and_o yet_o discern_v he_o not_o because_o their_o eye_n be_v hold_v so_o true_o be_v it_o not_o only_o with_o natural_a and_o unregenerate_v man_n but_o even_o sometime_o with_o they_o that_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n though_o they_o be_v so_o yet_o for_o many_o cause_n hereafter_o to_o be_v speak_v of_o they_o do_v not_o always_o discern_v themselves_o to_o be_v time_n for_o what_o great_a comfort_n can_v there_o be_v then_o in_o consider_v the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o this_o behalf_n but_o because_o this_o be_v one_o special_a drift_n of_o this_o whole_a treatise_n therefore_o i_o shall_v not_o need_v in_o this_o place_n particular_o to_o enlarge_v it_o thus_o much_o for_o observation_n of_o the_o first_o particular_a word_n in_o this_o scripture_n pacify_v the_o wind_n and_o the_o sea_n it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o man_n that_o see_v the_o say_a miracle_n marvel_v say_v what_o man_n be_v this_o or_o what_o manner_n of_o man_n be_v this_o that_o both_o the_o wind_n and_o the_o sea_n obey_v he_o mat._n 8._o 27._o in_o which_o place_n be_v the_o same_o word_n that_o be_v here_o use_v by_o the_o apostle_n so_o when_o the_o angel_n be_v send_v their_o inner_a man_n so_o clear_o as_o in_o former_a time_n it_o have_v do_v as_o man_n also_o though_o never_o so_o learned_a in_o their_o sleep_n have_v no_o more_o use_n of_o their_o learning_n then_o man_n altogether_o unlearned_a and_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o they_o still_o have_v that_o learning_n which_o they_o have_v wake_v so_o be_v it_o with_o the_o child_n of_o god_n touch_v this_o their_o knowledge_n of_o their_o likeness_n unto_o christ_n be_v sometime_o overtake_v with_o the_o sleep_n of_o some_o or_o of_o many_o sin_n for_o a_o time_n they_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o use_n when_o there_o be_v fit_a opportunity_n in_o respect_n of_o fit_a mean_n as_o also_o in_o respect_n of_o some_o judgement_n and_o
calamity_n either_o general_a or_o special_a whereby_o the_o lord_n call_v we_o to_o search_v and_o try_v our_o way_n and_o to_o turn_v unto_o he_o lam._n 3._o 40._o joel_n 2._o 12._o that_o be_v to_o in_o all_o age_n have_v more_o hinder_v and_o now_o do_v more_o hinder_v the_o public_a ministry_n of_o the_o word_n and_o the_o private_a profession_n and_o exhortation_n etc._n etc._n of_o other_o
