like_a this_o be_v apparent_o before_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o sinner_n to_o admire_v and_o work_n upon_o the_o heart_n when_o the_o other_o be_v more_o secret_a obj._n three_o if_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v so_o willing_a to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o sinner_n than_o you_o will_v say_v what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o there_o be_v no_o more_o reconcile_v one_o will_v think_v that_o all_o sinner_n in_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v reconcile_v to_o he_o he_o may_v reconcile_v all_o be_v it_o not_o as_o easy_a for_o god_n to_o reconcil_n one_o as_o well_o as_o another_o god_n many_o time_n tell_v we_o that_o few_o shall_v be_v save_v yea_o christ_n himself_o tell_v we_o so_o now_o this_o that_o you_o have_v preach_v about_o god_n and_o christ_n willingness_n to_o be_v reconcile_v one_o will_v think_v that_o all_o the_o world_n shall_v come_v in_o to_o be_v reconcile_v otherwise_o how_o will_v it_o appear_v that_o they_o be_v so_o willing_a ans_fw-fr for_o the_o answer_n to_o that_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n &_o christ_n be_v much_o set_v upon_o reconciliation_n with_o sinner_n but_o so_o as_o may_v be_v suitable_a to_o other_o end_n that_o god_n have_v god_n will_v not_o have_v the_o work_n of_o his_o mercy_n manifest_v so_o as_o it_o shall_v cross_v any_o other_o work_n that_o he_o have_v to_o do_v so_o far_o as_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o mercy_n may_v be_v manifest_v without_o cross_v of_o some_o other_o work_n that_o god_n have_v to_o do_v so_o far_o it_o be_v let_v out_o not_o to_o al._n why_o because_o it_o will_v not_o be_v suitable_a to_o some_o other_o end_n very_o advantageous_a and_o assist_v to_o the_o promote_a and_o coronation_n of_o this_o bless_a work_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o heaven_n there_o be_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o heaven_n they_o have_v one_o motion_n by_o which_o they_o be_v carry_v one_o way_n and_o there_o be_v the_o star_n they_o have_v another_o particular_a motion_n of_o their_o own_o and_o yet_o there_o be_v a_o concord_n in_o the_o motion_n of_o the_o heaven_n in_o any_o work_n that_o a_o man_n do_v as_o in_o a_o clock_n there_o be_v one_o wheel_n that_o run_v one_o way_n so_o far_o and_o another_o meet_v with_o it_o they_o seem_v to_o run_v quite_o contrary_a way_n and_o yet_o take_v they_o altogether_o and_o they_o do_v all_o run_v to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o work_n be_v intend_v for_o and_o yet_o seem_v to_o of_o his_o justice_n another_o way_n and_o they_o seem_v to_o go_v quite_o contrary_a one_o to_o the_o other_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v they_o work_v all_o to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o workman_n make_v it_o for_o here_o be_v the_o grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n thus_o manifest_v in_o entreat_v and_o beseech_v sinner_n to_o be_v reconcile_v it_o go_v thus_o far_o and_o then_o when_o it_o you_o yea_o so_o content_v as_o that_o he_o himself_o have_v send_v ambassador_n to_o we_o to_o entreat_v we_o be_v reconcile_v but_o of_o that_o hereafter_o god_n i_o say_v be_v content_a to_o enter_v into_o treaty_n with_o man_n concern_v a_o reconciliation_n and_o the_o make_n up_o of_o a_o peace_n between_o he_o and_o their_o soul_n for_o that_o indeed_o be_v the_o very_a scope_n of_o the_o gospel_n if_o i_o shall_v a_o little_a dwell_v here_o to_o inquire_v the_o reason_n of_o this_o why_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v willing_a to_o enter_v into_o this_o treaty_n with_o mankind_n the_o truth_n be_v it_o be_v a_o unsearchable_a depth_n we_o can_v imagine_v any_o reason_n why_o the_o lord_n shall_v rather_o choose_v to_o parley_v with_o we_o and_o to_o treat_v concern_v term_n of_o peace_n with_o we_o than_o with_o the_o angel_n there_o be_v something_o indeed_o which_o we_o may_v have_v in_o our_o thought_n as_o thus_o if_o god_n do_v not_o reconcile_v himself_o to_o man_n and_o save_v he_o he_o shall_v loose_v his_o whole_a creature_n he_o do_v not_o loose_v all_o the_o angel_n when_o they_o fall_v but_o if_o god_n shall_v not_o provide_v a_o way_n to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o man_n the_o whole_a kind_n of_o that_o creature_n will_v be_v utter_o lose_v now_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o cast_v away_o the_o whole_a kind_n of_o such_o a_o excellent_a creature_n as_o man_n be_v but_o the_o truth_n be_v these_o be_v but_o guess_v at_o this_o reason_n in_o choose_v to_o treat_v with_o we_o about_o salvation_n and_o not_o with_o the_o angel_n but_o the_o main_a thing_n be_v god_n have_v way_n to_o glorify_v himself_o that_o we_o know_v not_o of_o in_o reconcile_a himself_o to_o mankind_n we_o know_v this_o that_o there_o be_v glorious_a intention_n that_o god_n have_v in_o this_o work_n but_o what_o these_o be_v we_o shall_v never_o know_v througble_o till_o we_o come_v to_o heaven_n and_o that_o indeed_o will_v be_v the_o very_a work_n of_o heaven_n itself_o to_o be_v praise_v of_o god_n to_o all_o eternity_n for_o that_o great_a act_n of_o he_o namely_o his_o willingness_n to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o lose_a man_n rather_o than_o to_o the_o fall_v angel_n we_o shall_v know_v some_o reason_n of_o that_o afterward_o for_o god_n do_v thing_n according_a to_o the_o counsel_n of_o his_o will_n and_o there_o be_v nothing_o he_o do_v but_o he_o have_v wil._n o_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o god_n may_v be_v reconcile_v i_o will_v never_o inquire_v about_o the_o term_n out_o of_o fear_n that_o the_o hardness_n of_o they_o shall_v discourage_v i_o o_o and_o be_v become_v by_o unite_n the_o nature_n of_o man_n which_o he_o take_v to_o himself_o into_o personal_a union_n with_o the_o godhead_n both_o god_n and_o man_n and_o have_v the_o nature_n of_o they_o both_o he_o have_v interest_n in_o they_o both_o he_o have_v interest_n in_o god_n the_o father_n as_o be_v the_o same_o god_n coequal_a with_o the_o father_n though_o not_o the_o same_o in_o a_o personal_a regard_n but_o the_o same_o god_n with_o the_o father_n and_o he_o have_v interest_n likewise_o in_o man_n as_o he_o have_v the_o same_o nature_n with_o he_o and_o thus_o he_o partake_v answer_v they_o and_o say_v what_o do_v you_o do_v to_o come_v to_o undertake_v this_o work_n of_o make_v peace_n with_o i_o and_o a_o sinner_n alas_o you_o do_v not_o understand_v what_o wrong_n be_v the_o five_o and_o sixth_o particular_n mention_v in_o the_o twelve_o chapter_n that_o follow_v in_o the_o explication_n of_o this_o point_n of_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o speak_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n in_o a_o mystery_n even_o the_o hide_a wisdom_n which_o god_n ordain_v before_o the_o world_n to_o our_o glory_n it_o speak_v of_o the_o very_a same_o thing_n that_o one_o man_n in_o the_o world_n reconcile_v at_o last_o for_o it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o if_o it_o be_v leave_v to_o man_n to_o believe_v or_o not_o to_o believe_v and_o that_o it_o be_v in_o his_o power_n whether_o he_o will_v or_o not_o than_o it_o be_v in_o his_o power_n likewise_o to_o make_v all_o the_o counsel_n of_o god_n and_o the_o great_a work_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n to_o be_v of_o none_o effect_v at_o all_o that_o after_o god_n have_v from_o all_o eternity_n plot_v the_o work_n and_o send_v his_o own_o son_n into_o the_o world_n to_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n to_o die_v &_o to_o make_v all_o that_o ado_n &_o all_o that_o work_n about_o the_o matter_n of_o reconciliation_n &_o atonement_n yet_o if_o that_o doctrine_n be_v true_a which_o call_v in_o scripture_n angel_n of_o the_o church_n for_o indeed_o their_o work_n be_v evangelical_n and_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o they_o in_o 1_o cor._n 4.1_o therefore_o let_v a_o man_n account_n as_o that_o be_v those_o that_o be_v opposite_a to_o god_n in_o the_o way_n of_o profaneness_n that_o we_o must_v come_v and_o tell_v they_o here_o take_v the_o body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n that_o be_v give_v for_o thou_o no_o conscientious_a man_n but_o be_v oppress_v by_o this_o and_o not_o only_o this_o but_o for_o you_o also_o for_o certain_o brother_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o exclude_v of_o such_o from_o those_o holy_a thing_n and_o to_o who_o have_v god_n commit_v the_o trust_n of_o this_o great_a ordinance_n of_o he_o certain_o he_o have_v commit_v the_o trust_n to_o the_o and_o from_o these_o burden_n oh_o it_o be_v a_o blessing_n and_o mercy_n it_o make_v a_o door_n to_o open_a to_o all_o god_n mercy_n for_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n many_o separate_a from_o your_o congregation_n not_o because_o they_o judge_v your_o church_n a_o false_a church_n or_o your_o ministry_n a_o false_a ministry_n but_o 1._o because_o they_o have_v not_o all_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n in_o the_o purity_n of_o they_o there_o be_v such_o corruption_n that_o they_o can_v meddle_v with_o al._n 2._o they_o can_v enjoy_v all_o god_n ordinance_n though_o the_o church_n be_v true_a and_o the_o ministry_n true_a yet_o certain_o those_o that_o be_v conscientious_a and_o look_v upon_o they_o they_o can_v but_o be_v afraid_a therefore_o if_o there_o be_v a_o door_n of_o hope_n to_o let_v in_o our_o brethren_n the_o outcast_n of_o israel_n and_o to_o join_v with_o they_o in_o communion_n certain_o every_o gracious_a heart_n can_v but_o think_v this_o a_o precious_a mercy_n that_o god_n shall_v open_v the_o door_n of_o hope_n and_o this_o shall_v be_v your_o prayer_n and_o endeavour_n to_o the_o utmost_a you_o can_v that_o this_o door_n of_o hope_n may_v be_v so_o wide_a that_o your_o brethren_n may_v come_v and_o enter_v in_o with_o the_o peace_n of_o their_o conscience_n as_o heretofore_o it_o have_v be_v the_o honour_n of_o england_n that_o other_o have_v come_v out_o of_o other_o country_n for_o their_o conscience_n and_o have_v be_v shelter_v here_o that_o now_o it_o be_v not_o the_o dishonour_n of_o england_n that_o her_o own_o child_n shall_v be_v drive_v out_o from_o she_o because_o they_o can_v have_v liberty_n of_o conscience_n and_o that_o in_o thing_n which_o some_o think_v they_o be_v but_o of_o a_o indifferent_a nature_n if_o i_o say_v that_o now_o have_v sound_v forth_o this_o glory_n of_o god_n those_o creature_n have_v be_v dumb_a in_o that_o respect_n like_o a_o instrument_n that_o can_v of_o itself_o sound_v forth_o any_o music_n unless_o come_v to_o he_o and_o to_o offer_v he_o peace_n but_o i_o will_v never_o do_v it_o more_o if_o ever_o there_o be_v any_o reconciliation_n between_o we_o i_o warrant_v you_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o to_o be_v reconcincile_v you_o will_v say_v it_o be_v a_o rare_a thing_n and_o where_o be_v there_o such_o a_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n but_o behold_v god_n do_v this_o with_o we_o though_o he_o have_v we_o at_o infinite_a advantage_n to_o do_v with_o we_o whatsoever_o he_o please_v and_o can_v fetch_v out_o his_o glory_n from_o our_o ruin_n and_o eternal_a misery_n yet_o he_o begin_v the_o work_n of_o reconciliation_n with_o we_o oh_o admire_v the_o infinite_a grace_n of_o god_n towards_o wretched_a and_o sinful_a man_n this_o will_v be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o angel_n in_o heaven_n we_o but_o he_o account_v it_o his_o glory_n so_o to_o do_v it_o be_v a_o great_a part_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n that_o he_o be_v willing_a to_o yield_v to_o we_o and_o to_o send_v to_o we_o about_o term_n of_o reconciliation_n and_o shall_v that_o which_o make_v god_n to_o be_v glorious_a be_v account_v a_o dishonour_n to_o thou_o shall_v it_o make_v thou_o unglorious_a when_o it_o make_v god_n to_o be_v glorious_a if_o it_o be_v a_o excellency_n in_o god_n sure_o it_o be_v no_o baseness_n no_o dishonour_n in_o thou_o what_o a_o proud_a heart_n have_v thou_o that_o thou_o shall_v think_v that_o that_o do_v debase_v thou_o too_o much_o which_o make_v god_n to_o be_v a_o glorious_a god_n that_o that_o which_o do_v set_v so_o much_o glory_n upon_o god_n shall_v in_o thy_o fear_v he_o he_o will_v not_o cast_v we_o off_o certain_o no_o it_o be_v better_a with_o we_o now_o than_o before_o when_o we_o be_v enemy_n unto_o he_o and_o desperate_a enemy_n it_o have_v be_v then_o no_o wonder_n if_o god_n have_v cast_v we_o off_o and_o send_v we_o to_o our_o own_o place_n to_o lie_v for_o ever_o under_o the_o infinite_a burden_n of_o his_o wrath_n but_o the_o lord_n have_v then_o thought_n of_o peace_n towards_o we_o it_o be_v therefore_o now_o far_o otherwise_o with_o we_o though_o it_o be_v true_a we_o have_v many_o corruption_n in_o we_o but_o we_o can_v appeal_v unto_o god_n that_o our_o soul_n love_v he_o and_o that_o the_o desire_n of_o our_o heart_n be_v to_o fear_v and_o serve_v he_o we_o can_v in_o some_o measure_n be_v able_a to_o say_v lord_n thou_o that_o know_v all_o thing_n know_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o world_n our_o soul_n desire_v more_o than_o to_o overcome_v these_o corruption_n there_o be_v no_o burden_n in_o all_o the_o world_n like_v unto_o the_o burden_n of_o sin_n there_o be_v nothing_o so_o grievous_a to_o we_o as_o this_o that_o we_o have_v such_o vile_a heart_n and_o nature_n that_o can_v serve_v he_o no_o better_o than_o we_o do_v and_o if_o god_n shall_v ask_v we_o what_o we_o will_v have_v from_o he_o we_o can_v say_v in_o the_o sincerity_n of_o our_o soul_n lord_n thou_o know_v we_o will_v not_o ask_v riches_n or_o honour_n to_o be_v king_n and_o prince_n in_o the_o world_n but_o oh_o that_o we_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o the_o remayner_n of_o the_o corruption_n that_o be_v in_o our_o heart_n from_o such_o and_o such_o distemper_n of_o our_o soul_n whereby_o we_o dishonour_v thy_o name_n continual_o certain_o if_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v in_o this_o disposition_n they_o may_v
