former_a chapter_n that_o this_o inconvenience_n sit_v as_o close_o to_o the_o imputation_n of_o faith_n for_o righteousness_n as_o to_o the_o imputation_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n for_o that_o purpose_n for_o if_o faith_n be_v impute_v for_o or_o instead_o of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n must_v it_o not_o derive_v a_o righteousness_n upon_o the_o person_n to_o who_o such_o imputation_n be_v make_v as_o perfect_a and_o complete_a as_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n itself_o and_o consequent_o as_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n himself_o how_o then_o do_v that_o opinion_n leave_v any_o other_o place_n for_o remission_n of_o sin_n in_o those_o that_o believe_v then_o that_o which_o stand_v for_o the_o imputation_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n be_v they_o not_o both_o under_o the_o same_o condemnation_n this_o way_n not_o to_o repeat_v what_o be_v so_o late_o deliver_v in_o full_a for_o satisfaction_n and_o answer_n to_o this_o to_o the_o latter_a when_o a_o perfect_a sanctification_n be_v impute_v to_o a_o man_n for_o his_o justification_n that_o man_n can_v be_v no_o more_o repute_v or_o think_v to_o have_v sin_n in_o he_o then_o to_o be_v obnoxious_a to_o death_n and_o condemnation_n which_o be_v most_o opposite_a to_o justification_n but_o when_o that_o which_o either_o be_v no_o sanctification_n or_o at_o most_o but_o a_o imperfect_a sanctification_n be_v impute_v for_o righteousness_n in_o a_o man_n justification_n there_o may_v be_v as_o full_a a_o justification_n as_o perfect_v a_o deliverance_n from_o death_n and_o condemnation_n as_o in_o the_o former_a case_n and_o yet_o place_v leave_v in_o the_o person_n so_o justify_v for_o a_o inherencie_n of_o sin_n and_o consequent_o for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o it_o cap._n xv._o enforce_v a_o eight_o reason_n against_o the_o imputation_n question_v viz._n a_o manifest_a compliance_n with_o that_o dangerous_a error_n that_o god_n see_v no_o sin_n in_o his_o people_n what_o communion_n have_v light_a with_o darkness_n say_v the_o apostle_n and_o what_o concord_n have_v christ_n with_o belial_n 2_o cor._n 6.14_o 15._o sect_n 1_o if_o this_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n which_o we_o oppose_v be_v from_o christ_n doubtless_o it_o will_v have_v no_o intelligence_n or_o compliance_n with_o any_o opinion_n so_o opposite_a to_o he_o and_o his_o truth_n as_o this_o that_o god_n see_v no_o sin_n in_o his_o people_n the_o opinion_n itself_o be_v a_o error_n so_o gross_a and_o like_a the_o darkness_n of_o egypt_n that_o opinion_n against_o which_o the_o face_n of_o this_o discourse_n be_v set_v be_v of_o the_o same_o confederacy_n with_o this_o and_o give_v the_o right_a hand_n of_o fellowship_n to_o it_o nay_o lead_v and_o carry_v man_n direct_o into_o it_o will_v clear_o appear_v by_o this_o demonstration_n whosoever_o be_v perfect_o righteous_a or_o as_o righteous_a as_o christ_n be_v in_o he_o god_n can_v see_v no_o sin_n but_o every_o believer_n say_v this_o opinion_n which_o we_o impugn_v be_v as_o perfect_o and_o complete_o righteous_a as_o christ_n himself_o be_v therefore_o in_o such_o god_n but_o as_o sometime_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o a_o man_n fall_v into_o love_n with_o a_o woman_n that_o have_v a_o great_a charge_n of_o child_n hang_v upon_o she_o have_v marry_v the_o mother_n will_v willing_o wrangle_v or_o beat_v the_o child_n out_o of_o door_n and_o turn_v they_o off_o to_o beg_v so_o it_o be_v often_o see_v that_o when_o man_n have_v unadvised_o embrace_v a_o opinion_n seem_v in_o their_o eye_n a_o beautiful_a and_o lovely_a truth_n and_o do_v not_o at_o first_o before_o they_o be_v wed_v to_o it_o apprehend_v and_o consider_v what_o rugged_a and_o harsh_a other_o thing_n belong_v to_o it_o though_o there_o be_v the_o same_o party_n covenant_v and_o the_o same_o thing_n covenant_v for_o or_o about_o yet_o if_o there_o be_v new_a article_n of_o agreement_n it_o be_v real_o a_o new_a bargain_n and_o another_o covenant_n now_o if_o the_o condition_n or_o term_n of_o agreement_n be_v the_o same_o in_o both_o those_o covenant_n then_o to_o do_v this_o and_o to_o believe_v faith_n and_o work_n be_v real_o the_o same_o whereas_o the_o scripture_n from_o place_n to_o place_n make_v the_o most_o irreconcilable_a opposition_n between_o they_o but_o it_o may_v be_v there_o be_v some_o that_o be_v more_o rich_a of_o this_o consequence_n that_o stick_v not_o to_o hold_v the_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n in_o the_o sense_n oppose_v and_o yet_o demuire_v upon_o a_o identity_n of_o the_o two_o covenant_n they_o do_v not_o conceive_v this_o to_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o that_o womb_n wherefore_o to_o prove_v that_o the_o
