upon_o it_o to_o gather_v together_o the_o conjecture_n that_o may_v be_v have_v of_o great_a evil_a to_o be_v in_o it_o hereby_o it_o appear_v that_o love_n be_v far_o from_o suspicion_n of_o evil_a where_o there_o be_v no_o apparent_a token_n thereof_o see_v it_o pass_v with_o such_o speed_n and_o turn_v the_o thought_n so_o soon_o from_o muse_v upon_o and_o examine_v see_v and_o know_v evil_n in_o those_o who_o it_o love_v it_o be_v also_o incident_a unto_o love_n as_o a_o true_a mark_n to_o discern_v it_o by_o not_o to_o rejoice_v in_o iniquity_n but_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o truth_n so_o do_v the_o holy_a ghost_n report_n of_o it_o in_o this_o place_n the_o truth_n wherein_o he_o that_o love_v be_v say_v to_o rejoice_v signify_v true_a and_o sincere_a deal_n according_a to_o the_o usual_a speech_n of_o the_o scripture_n which_o may_v also_o be_v understand_v in_o that_o it_o be_v set_v here_o against_o iniquity_n or_o unrighteousness_n as_o be_v contrary_a thereunto_o this_o property_n of_o not_o rejoice_v in_o iniquity_n be_v very_o fit_o join_v unto_o the_o former_a for_o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v not_o to_o think_v evil_a but_o friendly_a not_o to_o impute_v condemn_v that_o damnable_a sect_n which_o term_v itself_o the_o family_n of_o love_n who_o uphold_v their_o love_n like_a unto_o the_o papist_n be_v clean_o go_v from_o the_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n approve_v by_o his_o word_n unto_o a_o righteousness_n approve_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o their_o own_o spirit_n make_v the_o word_n of_o god_o the_o playnesong_n which_o their_o spirit_n may_v descant_v upon_o as_o seem_v good_a unto_o itself_o but_o always_o so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o melody_n but_o from_o their_o own_o mouth_n for_o they_o will_v have_v such_o as_o will_v joy_v with_o they_o in_o their_o wickedness_n for_o they_o will_v not_o hold_v friendship_n with_o they_o that_o will_v not_o lend_v they_o the_o credit_n of_o their_o countenance_n and_o if_o need_v be_v of_o their_o oath_n also_o to_o help_v out_o evil_a cause_n withal_o here_o also_o be_v all_o these_o detect_v of_o want_n of_o love_n who_o publish_v abroad_o the_o infirmity_n of_o their_o brethren_n to_o those_o to_o who_o in_o no_o consideration_n it_o be_v behooveful_a to_o be_v know_v love_n rejoice_v not_o in_o iniquity_n nor_o in_o

reason_n shall_v mislike_v that_o religion_n which_o have_v nothing_o else_o in_o it_o but_o force_n of_o wit_n and_o strength_n of_o reason_n but_o let_v we_o cease_v to_o marvel_v and_o begin_v to_o wisdom_n let_v the_o word_n of_o god_n dwell_v rich_o in_o we_o in_o all_o wisdom_n teach_v &_o admonish_v ourselves_o as_o we_o be_v command_v by_o the_o apostle_n 1â—_o for_o if_o in_o our_o deal_n with_o god_n or_o man_n we_o like_v well_o enough_o of_o the_o counsel_n have_v from_o our_o own_o wit_n in_o vain_a be_v this_o boast_n make_v that_o christ_n be_v become_v wisdom_n unto_o we_o for_o he_o pull_v he_o from_o the_o device_n of_o their_o own_o wit_n in_o the_o order_n of_o their_o conversation_n unto_o the_o government_n of_o his_o word_n let_v they_o understand_v and_o feel_v the_o want_n &_o wretchedness_n of_o the_o one_o and_o the_o sufficiency_n and_o blessedness_n of_o the_o other_o christ_n as_o you_o see_v at_o his_o first_o come_n change_v our_o wisdom_n this_o be_v his_o work_n where_o be_v then_o our_o frank_a and_o free_a will_n unto_o that_o which_o be_v good_a when_o it_o be_v manifest_a we_o can_v see_v what_o be_v good_a before_o christ_n lighten_v we_o who_o be_v become_v our_o wisdom_n we_o have_v no_o will_n unto_o any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o our_o wit_n approve_v and_o our_o judgement_n do_v embrace_v and_o good_a thing_n can_v we_o not_o in_o judgement_n embrace_v and_o like_v before_o christ_n who_o be_v our_o wisdom_n shall_v have_v change_v our_o judgement_n if_o christ_n must_v open_v our_o heart_n and_o change_v our_o mind_n before_o we_o can_v have_v true_a wisdom_n and_o understanding_n of_o good_a thing_n which_o we_o must_v approve_v in_o judgement_n before_o we_o have_v a_o desire_n and_o will_n unto_o they_o in_o our_o affection_n it_o follow_v necessary_o that_o not_o from_o ourselves_o but_o from_o christ_n come_v all_o the_o free_a will_n which_o we_o have_v unto_o that_o which_o be_v in_o deed_n good_a for_o we_o have_v no_o will_n unto_o any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o we_o approve_v and_o like_v in_o our_o judgement_n we_o can_v approve_v and_o like_v in_o our_o judgement_n no_o good_a thing_n before_o our_o judgement_n be_v good_a good_a judgement_n &_o wisdom_n we_o have_v not_o of_o ourselves_o but_o be_v teach_v it_o of_o christ_n and_o have_v it_o with_o he_o who_o be_v make_v our_o wisdom_n therefore_o the_o desire_n and_o will_n unto_o good_a thing_n we_o have_v not_o from_o ourselves_o but_o from_o christ_n amongst_o who_o gift_n the_o very_o foremost_a be_v that_o he_o give_v in_o two_o point_n the_o first_o be_v in_o discharge_v we_o of_o our_o sin_n the_o second_o be_v in_o present_v we_o blameless_a before_o his_o father_n in_o such_o perfect_a obedience_n as_o the_o law_n can_v reprove_v nor_o just_o charge_v with_o any_o want_n this_o be_v perform_v to_o we_o in_o christ_n who_o have_v satisfy_v in_o his_o suffering_n for_o our_o sin_n and_o wrought_v our_o full_a discharge_n and_o also_o perfect_o keep_v the_o whole_a law_n and_o every_o commandment_n thereof_o in_o the_o behalf_n of_o we_o that_o be_v he_o for_o he_o be_v god_n and_o therefore_o above_o the_o law_n as_o lord_n and_o giver_n thereof_o need_v not_o to_o have_v become_v a_o subject_n thereunto_o for_o himself_o whereby_o it_o appear_v plain_o that_o he_o go_v under_o that_o obedience_n in_o our_o name_n and_o for_o we_o and_o that_o the_o same_o obedience_n of_o he_o be_v available_a for_o we_o that_o be_v he_o according_a as_o it_o be_v write_v to_o the_o roman_n in_o these_o word_n 5.19_o as_o by_o one_o man_n his_o disobedience_n many_o be_v make_v sinner_n so_o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o one_o shall_v many_o also_o be_v make_v righteous_a the_o tree_n must_v to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n that_o shall_v be_v please_v unto_o he_o and_o acceptable_a in_o his_o sight_n according_a as_o our_o saviour_n christ_n say_v in_o john_n as_o the_o branch_n can_v not_o which_o be_v become_v they_o by_o faith_n from_o hence_o we_o have_v a_o answer_n that_o may_v satisfy_v we_o which_o be_v that_o christ_n be_v make_v righteousness_n unto_o he_o it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o to_o assure_v they_o to_o be_v accept_v for_o the_o righteousness_n of_o a_o other_o and_o to_o give_v over_o all_o the_o hold_n that_o they_o have_v by_o the_o reason_n of_o any_o thing_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v do_v themselves_o our_o natural_a wit_n and_o reason_n can_v not_o allow_v of_o that_o it_o be_v apparent_a therefore_o that_o we_o have_v a_o other_o schoolmaster_n that_o do_v teach_v we_o this_o doctrine_n can_v one_o man_n for_o his_o good_a work_n that_o he_o have_v do_v stand_v so_o strong_o assure_v in_o his_o opinion_n of_o salvation_n and_o to_o be_v accept_v for_o they_o that_o he_o shall_v offer_v his_o overplus_n to_o help_v other_o withal_o and_o a_o other_o man_n that_o be_v not_o inferior_a unto_o this_o other_o neither_o in_o wit_n reason_n nor_o good_a deed_n so_o give_v over_o all_o the_o hope_n of_o they_o that_o in_o flat_a denial_n and_o utter_v renounce_v thereof_o he_o shall_v lay_v claim_n only_o
