therefore_o so_o to_o be_v receive_v with_o more_o reverence_n and_o subjection_n than_o any_o word_n or_o law_n of_o any_o creature_n the_o first_o of_o these_o be_v evident_o affirm_v here_o namely_o that_o this_o doctrine_n be_v the_o law_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o second_o necessary_o deduct_v that_o therefore_o it_o must_v be_v receive_v with_o all_o submission_n and_o obedience_n which_o become_v we_o servant_n to_o so_o great_a a_o lord_n neither_o can_v this_o doctrine_n be_v confine_v to_o the_o scripture_n only_o see_v god_n do_v not_o only_o by_o writing_n but_o by_o they_o hear_v be_v indeed_o not_o man_v but_o go_n the_o prophet_n say_v they_o and_o apostle_n be_v extraordinary_a man_n and_o furnish_v with_o peculiar_a gift_n for_o such_o a_o calling_n and_o with_o a_o unerring_a spirit_n therefore_o their_o word_n be_v infallible_o godâ—_n message_n and_o so_o to_o be_v receive_v but_o not_o so_o the_o minister_n of_o our_o time_n who_o have_v not_o and_o other_o in_o cold_a some_o in_o a_o fat_a other_o in_o a_o barren_a soil_n thus_o in_o the_o food_n and_o nourishment_n of_o sensible_a body_n what_o a_o strange_a difference_n do_v we_o see_v that_o be_v pleasant_a and_o wholesome_a to_o one_o which_o to_o another_o be_v loathsome_a and_o a_o deadly_a poison_n thus_o have_v that_o alwise_a creator_n dispose_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o kind_n of_o aptness_n and_o affection_n in_o one_o creature_n to_o sustain_v and_o bear_v up_o the_o nature_n of_o another_o now_o as_o he_o have_v give_v to_o the_o creature_n several_a nature_n and_o fit_v they_o with_o several_a nourishment_n answerable_a to_o their_o constitution_n so_o also_o have_v he_o so_o temper_v their_o complexion_n that_o they_o be_v necessary_o and_o strong_o carry_v by_o their_o appetite_n to_o desire_v those_o thing_n whereby_o their_o nature_n be_v sustain_v and_o comfort_v apply_v their_o taste_n to_o delight_v in_o those_o nourishment_n thus_o in_o thy_o bodily_a life_n he_o have_v give_v bread_n and_o wine_n for_o thy_o sustenance_n and_o so_o ordain_v that_o by_o his_o blessing_n there_o be_v in_o this_o food_n a_o power_n of_o increase_v and_o strengthen_v the_o body_n and_o in_o the_o body_n a_o necessary_a and_o earnest_a desire_n of_o these_o aliment_n and_o in_o the_o taste_n a_o pleasure_n to_o receive_v they_o thus_o now_o be_v true_a believer_n have_v this_o taste_n in_o he_o constant_o though_o sometime_o dull_v by_o tentation_n and_o rejoice_v not_o only_o in_o those_o sweet_a promise_n which_o nourish_v he_o but_o even_o in_o those_o bitter_a reproof_n as_o in_o sour_a but_o wholesome_a salad_n provoke_v to_o appetite_n and_o cleanse_v the_o stomach_n so_o likewise_o all_o the_o way_n of_o heavenly_a wisdom_n point_v out_o to_o he_o be_v way_n of_o pleasure_n the_o way_n of_o godliness_n righteousness_n sobriety_n be_v all_o delightful_a this_o be_v not_o so_o with_o the_o wicked_a man_n who_o may_v please_v himself_o or_o at_o least_o seem_v so_o in_o some_o of_o these_o but_o have_v no_o heart_n to_o many_o necessary_a duty_n nay_o utter_o dâ—tests_v and_o abhor_v they_o the_o most_o civil_a man_n will_v take_v much_o liberty_n not_o only_o in_o omission_n of_o pious_a duty_n as_o of_o prayer_n in_o his_o closet_n and_o family_n breach_n of_o some_o part_n of_o the_o sabbath_n but_o esteem_v it_o a_o light_a matter_n to_o break_v out_o into_o commission_n of_o some_o ungodliness_n as_o oath_n so_o they_o be_v not_o frequent_a nor_o of_o the_o great_a size_n in_o his_o measure_n but_o especial_o in_o shape_a a_o religion_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n after_o his_o own_o fancy_n neglect_v nay_o even_o despise_v the_o rule_n of_o god_n at_o least_o preciseness_n of_o that_o rule_n the_o hypocrite_n will_v gild_v over_o his_o outside_n with_o a_o fair_a resemblance_n of_o piety_n to_o god_n and_o the_o eye_n must_v be_v very_o sharp_a to_o spy_v out_o a_o fault_n in_o the_o outward_a form_n of_o his_o profession_n but_o be_v far_o from_o that_o seem_a care_n of_o righteousness_n and_o just_a deal_n with_o man_n but_o that_o we_o may_v easy_o discern_v gross_a neglect_n of_o such_o duty_n but_o he_o that_o delight_v in_o the_o law_n of_o god_n can_v be_v thus_o dispose_v but_o as_o he_o love_v the_o lord_n for_o himself_o and_o delight_v his_o soul_n in_o render_v to_o god_n that_o which_o be_v his_o so_o do_v he_o love_v his_o brother_n for_o god_n and_o will_v careful_o observe_v his_o respect_n unto_o he_o refut_n 3._o see_v the_o lord_n give_v this_o name_n
