ministry_n of_o it_o to_o his_o people_n in_o a_o state_n of_o imperfection_n viz._n for_o their_o direction_n and_o for_o their_o support_n in_o all_o condition_n till_o they_o come_v to_o a_o state_n of_o perfection_n eph._n 4.11_o he_o give_v some_o apostle_n and_o some_o prophet_n and_o some_o evangelist_n and_o some_o pastor_n and_o teacher_n for_o the_o perfect_a of_o the_o saint_n for_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n for_o the_o edify_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n till_o we_o all_o come_v in_o the_o unity_n of_o faith_n and_o of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n unto_o a_o perfect_a man_n unto_o the_o measure_n of_o the_o stature_n of_o the_o fullness_n of_o christ_n till_o we_o come_v where_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o temple_n no_o need_n of_o temporal_a and_o spiritual_a light_n by_o a_o medium_fw-la as_o it_o be_v rev._n 21.22_o 23_o well_o then_o as_o long_o as_o we_o live_v in_o this_o life_n the_o word_n be_v write_v for_o our_o direction_n and_o for_o penman_n thereof_o god_n that_o the_o scripture_n be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n some_o from_o the_o opposite_n or_o enemy_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o last_o of_o all_o some_o from_o god_n himself_o bear_v witness_n from_o heaven_n to_o the_o word_n of_o his_o truth_n i_o shall_v only_o speak_v a_o little_a of_o the_o first_o 1._o some_o argument_n from_o the_o scripture_n themselves_o and_o that_o excellency_n the_o scripture_n excellency_n whether_o we_o respect_v the_o antiquity_n of_o the_o scripture_n or_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o matter_n therein_o contain_v it_o will_v plain_o their_o elder_n their_o father_n and_o forefather_n be_v of_o that_o religion_n before_o they_o and_o therefore_o they_o will_v be_v so_o too_o other_o it_o may_v be_v be_v profane_a and_o irreligious_a themselves_o but_o they_o hope_v god_n will_v show_v they_o favour_n for_o their_o friend_n sake_n it_o may_v be_v their_o father_n or_o mother_n or_o some_o in_o the_o family_n be_v be_v a_o type_n of_o their_o deliverance_n from_o spiritual_a babylon_n 2._o however_o the_o secondary_a object_n of_o faith_n be_v divers_a some_o temporal_a some_o spiritual_a some_o eternal_a yet_o the_o prime_n and_o principal_a object_n of_o faith_n be_v still_o one_o and_o the_o same_o and_o that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n and_o god_n favour_n in_o christ_n and_o before_o i_o can_v embrace_v the_o other_o i_o must_v first_o embrace_v this_o therefore_o the_o same_o faith_n in_o christ_n that_o enable_v i_o to_o live_v in_o temporal_a thing_n enable_v i_o to_o live_v in_o spiritual_n justification_n and_o so_o the_o apostle_n apply_v this_o very_a text_n rom._n 1.16_o 17._o for_o therein_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n reveal_v from_o faith_n to_o faith_n as_o it_o be_v
