wife_n they_o be_v their_o wife_n head_n and_o therefore_o shall_v be_v careful_a how_o they_o order_n themselves_o they_o be_v the_o life_n of_o their_o life_n as_o it_o be_v god_n have_v make_v the_o wife_n to_o depend_v upon_o they_o for_o comfort_n and_o direction_n and_o preservation_n 3._o from_o their_o prerogative_n god_n have_v give_v they_o great_a power_n more_o than_o the_o wife_n they_o be_v head_n to_o their_o wife_n and_o beside_o they_o be_v image_n of_o jesus_n christ_n they_o show_v in_o the_o family_n what_o christ_n be_v in_o the_o church_n they_o do_v as_o it_o be_v act_n christ_n part_n and_o resemble_v he_o in_o his_o relation_n to_o the_o church_n and_o therefore_o they_o have_v need_v to_o think_v of_o it_o how_o they_o carry_v themselves_o they_o be_v type_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o will_v they_o shame_v he_o by_o act_v folly_n passion_n pride_n and_o dissoluteness_n do_v christ_n do_v so_o to_o the_o church_n beside_o it_o shall_v much_o move_v he_o that_o god_n have_v in_o the_o most_o thing_n leave_v the_o husband_n free_a from_o the_o law_n of_o man_n he_o have_v no_o man_n to_o control_v he_o in_o his_o office_n and_o have_v not_o god_n make_v he_o both_o king_n and_o priest_n in_o his_o family_n his_o household_n be_v a_o little_a kingdom_n or_o a_o little_a church_n where_o he_o be_v of_o sovereign_a power_n and_o have_v great_a supremacy_n and_o if_o the_o world_n acknowledge_v not_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o place_n yet_o it_o be_v acknowledge_v in_o heaven_n 4._o from_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o come_n into_o this_o relation_n he_o be_v not_o bear_v a_o husband_n but_o make_v so_o and_o make_v so_o by_o the_o gift_n of_o god_n for_o god_n give_v he_o his_o wife_n as_o he_o do_v eve_n to_o adam_n yea_o let_v he_o consider_v that_o god_n give_v he_o the_o wife_n that_o be_v of_o his_o own_o choose_n and_o who_o with_o so_o much_o desire_n he_o long_v after_o and_o it_o may_v be_v pray_v for_o but_o especial_o let_v he_o consider_v that_o god_n have_v bind_v he_o to_o his_o wife_n by_o covenant_n yea_o that_o he_o have_v bind_v himself_o to_o god_n by_o covenant_n for_o this_o thing_n yea_o that_o the_o oath_n of_o
