get_v by_o observe_v these_o holy_a counsel_n they_o main_o help_v to_o take_v away_o the_o impediment_n of_o christian_a perfection_n which_o consist_v in_o charity_n the_o impediment_n whereof_o be_v chief_o three_o to_o wit_n the_o love_n of_o temporal_a good_n which_o be_v take_v away_o by_o poverty_n the_o love_n of_o carnal_a pleasure_n which_o be_v take_v away_o by_o chastity_n and_o final_o the_o love_n of_o worldly_a honour_n and_o power_n which_o be_v take_v away_o by_o obedience_n moreover_o whereas_o a_o man_n have_v but_o three_o sort_n of_o good_n a_o soul_n a_o body_n and_o his_o exterior_a wealth_n by_o give_v his_o exterior_a good_n to_o god_n by_o poverty_n his_o body_n by_o chastity_n and_o his_o soul_n by_o obedience_n he_o make_v a_o perfect_a sacrifice_n whensoever_o one_o commit_v that_o which_o in_o itself_o be_v only_o a_o venial_a sin_n and_o yet_o he_o think_v in_o his_o conscience_n that_o it_o be_v a_o mortal_a one_o 11._o why_o be_v a_o exclude_v from_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n because_o although_o he_o do_v not_o steal_v nor_o cozen_v his_o neighbour_n yet_o he_o be_v true_o covetous_a and_o the_o same_o be_v to_o be_v say_v of_o those_o who_o set_v their_o thought_n and_o endeavour_n whole_o upon_o honour_n vanity_n pleasure_n feast_v game_a contention_n faction_n and_o the_o like_a place_v whole_o their_o delight_n in_o they_o for_o though_o the_o particular_a action_n of_o these_o man_n consider_v single_o by_o themselves_o may_v seem_v venial_a yet_o the_o whole_a number_n become_v damnable_a because_o it_o do_v perfection_n which_o we_o be_v oblige_v unto_o by_o the_o date_n or_o profession_n whereunto_o we_o do_v engage_v ourselves_o by_o the_o other_o three_o sacrament_n as_o penance_n for_o reconciliation_n eucharist_n for_o nouriture_n extreme_a unction_n to_o take_v away_o the_o relic_n of_o sin_n thereby_o to_o strengthen_v we_o against_o the_o last_o assault_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o matrimony_n to_o enable_v the_o marry_a to_o bear_v the_o burden_n of_o wedlock_n 15._o why_o be_v it_o sacrilege_n to_o reiterate_v those_o sacrament_n that_o confer_v character_n the_o reason_n of_o it_o be_v because_o by_o these_o sacrament_n man_n make_v a_o gift_n of_o himself_o and_o his_o service_n to_o god_n according_a to_o the_o several_a condition_n of_o the_o state_n whereunto_o he_o be_v addict_v by_o each_o sacrament_n whereby_o he_o be_v no_o more_o at_o his_o own_o dispose_n in_o that_o respect_n which_o as_o i_o say_v before_o he_o do_v in_o baptism_n as_o a_o servant_n to_o a_o master_n of_o a_o family_n in_o confirmation_n as_o a_o soldier_n to_o his_o general_n in_o a_o army_n in_o order_n as_o a_o marry_a man_n to_o propagate_v his_o church_n now_o no_o man_n can_v give_v any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o be_v his_o own_o and_o therefore_o he_o who_o have_v once_o give_v himself_o to_o god_n any_o of_o these_o way_n can_v give_v himself_o again_o to_o he_o the_o same_o way_n that_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o same_o service_n for_o which_o he_o give_v himself_o before_o and_o so_o it_o be_v a_o sacrilege_n to_o reiterate_v these_o sacrament_n for_o that_o be_v to_o release_v a_o gift_n by_o suppose_v himself_o still_o free_a of_o which_o he_o can_v be_v release_v by_o man_n but_o only_o by_o god_n for_o what_o be_v once_o give_v can_v be_v give_v again_o but_o belong_v to_o he_o to_o who_o it_o be_v give_v and_o not_o to_o the_o giver_n 16._o wherefore_o be_v godfather_n also_o appoint_v in_o this_o sacrament_n to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o confirm_a may_v have_v instruction_n how_o to_o wield_v his_o spiritual_a arm_n &_o also_o to_o let_v he_o know_v that_o although_o he_o have_v receive_v the_o grace_n of_o
