the_o mystery_n in_o those_o who_o have_v need_v and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o document_n which_o be_v teach_v by_o those_o who_o have_v write_v of_o this_o matter_n for_o we_o pretend_v not_o here_o to_o handle_v all_o these_o thing_n but_o only_o of_o the_o manner_n how_o to_o meditate_v 4._o the_o meditation_n may_v be_v divide_v into_o three_o point_n the_o first_o be_v to_o consider_v the_o story_n of_o the_o mystery_n whereof_o we_o be_v to_o meditate_v the_o second_o be_v to_o ponder_v the_o circumstance_n which_o concur_v in_o it_o and_o the_o three_o be_v to_o draw_v the_o fruit_n and_o act_n of_o virtue_n which_o may_v be_v gather_v out_o of_o they_o but_o it_o be_v to_o be_v note_v that_o although_o here_o we_o put_v these_o three_o point_n distinct_a and_o in_o their_o order_n it_o must_v not_o be_v understand_v that_o in_o the_o meditation_n they_o go_v by_o this_o order_n and_o distinction_n every_o one_o by_o itself_o but_o that_o they_o may_v be_v mingle_v and_o join_v one_o with_o another_o as_o for_o example_n we_o beginning_n to_o consider_v the_o story_n of_o one_o mystery_n if_o there_o it_o happen_v that_o we_o consider_v any_o circumstance_n thereof_o or_o any_o virtuous_a or_o devout_a motion_n shall_v offer_v itself_o therein_o must_v we_o detain_v ourselves_o and_o afterward_o pass_v to_o another_o thing_n and_o if_o in_o the_o first_o word_n there_o occur_v consideration_n and_o do_v move_v affect_n for_o the_o time_n prefix_v for_o prayer_n it_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o go_v any_o further_a but_o to_o spend_v all_o the_o time_n in_o that_o and_o the_o same_o i_o say_v if_o one_o circumstance_n suffice_v or_o one_o affect_v to_o spend_v all_o the_o time_n of_o prayer_n be_v sufficient_a than_o it_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o sufficient_a matter_n of_o meditation_n 5._o the_o first_o point_n be_v to_o consider_v the_o story_n of_o the_o mystery_n literal_o and_o plain_o as_o it_o happen_v according_a as_o the_o holy_a gospel_n say_v or_o according_a to_o what_o may_v be_v read_v of_o that_o mystery_n in_o good_a approve_a and_o devout_a book_n or_o according_a to_o that_o which_o pious_o may_v be_v consider_v with_o good_a discretion_n or_o last_o according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v wont_a to_o happen_v in_o such_o like_a case_n as_o for_o example_n if_o you_o consider_v how_o our_o saviour_n be_v whip_v at_o the_o pillar_n you_o must_v imagine_v yourself_o present_a in_o a_o court_n or_o auditory_a where_o the_o precedent_n or_o judge_n be_v set_v in_o his_o chair_n or_o tribunal_n seat_n and_o with_o he_o many_o principal_a man_n of_o authority_n judge_v one_o poor_a man_n a_o very_a saint_n and_o innocent_a and_o yet_o accuse_v of_o grievous_a offence_n and_o great_a crime_n and_o the_o
