unwearied_a industry_n and_o laboriousness_n in_o the_o work_n of_o god_n and_o the_o service_n of_o soul_n o_o how_o eminent_o glorious_a have_v the_o particular_a act_n of_o these_o particular_a grace_n in_o these_o servant_n of_o god_n make_v they_o in_o all_o age_n insomuch_o that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n have_v think_v good_a to_o record_v their_o excellency_n in_o the_o holy_a god_n thereby_o but_o how_o full_a how_o glorious_a a_o happiness_n it_o be_v and_o in_o what_o way_n and_o manner_n it_o shall_v be_v communicate_v to_o they_o be_v thing_n that_o pose_v our_o reason_n and_o nonplus_n our_o understanding_n to_o search_v into_o the_o bottom_n of_o o_o this_o great_a word_n god_n as_o it_o signify_v the_o divine_a essence_n and_o be_v and_o as_o it_o hold_v forth_o a_o happiness_n that_o shall_v be_v communicate_v unto_o the_o people_n of_o god_n according_a to_o the_o meaning_n of_o those_o expression_n beforementioned_a of_o see_v of_o god_n of_o behold_v he_o face_n to_o face_n of_o be_v make_v like_o unto_o he_o and_o see_v he_o as_o he_o be_v of_o which_o our_o ignorance_n at_o present_a be_v great_a than_o our_o knowledge_n i_o say_v this_o great_a word_n god_n have_v more_o in_o it_o than_o all_o other_o word_n can_v express_v to_o we_o yea_o there_o be_v more_o in_o it_o than_o all_o the_o understanding_n of_o man_n or_o angel_n can_v unfold_v to_o we_o a_o happiness_n there_o be_v contain_v in_o it_o that_o be_v so_o great_a as_o can_v only_o be_v know_v and_o understand_v by_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o it_o yea_o it_o be_v a_o happiness_n so_o great_a as_o shall_v never_o be_v full_o understand_v no_o not_o by_o those_o that_o enjoy_v it_o for_o from_o this_o bless_a vision_n of_o god_n which_o glorify_a soul_n always_o behold_v there_o shall_v continual_o arise_v such_o fresh_a discovery_n of_o new_a and_o glorious_a excellency_n in_o the_o divine_a be_v as_o shall_v ravish_v the_o saint_n with_o new_a joy_n and_o pleasure_n to_o all_o eternity_n in_o speak_v to_o this_o vision_n of_o the_o saint_n i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o explain_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o what_o kind_n of_o sight_n or_o vision_n of_o god_n the_o saint_n shall_v have_v in_o heaven_n second_o wherein_o it_o do_v appear_v that_o this_o sight_n and_o vision_n of_o god_n will_v be_v so_o great_a a_o happiness_n to_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n first_o what_o kind_n of_o sight_n or_o vision_n of_o god_n the_o saint_n shall_v have_v in_o heaven_n now_o to_o this_o i_o answer_v first_o the_o saint_n vision_n of_o god_n in_o heaven_n will_v be_v immediate_a and_o clear_a what_o representation_n the_o saint_n have_v of_o god_n in_o this_o life_n come_v to_o they_o by_o the_o interposition_n of_o some_o mean_n by_o which_o god_n be_v please_v to_o make_v himself_o know_v which_o be_v a_o dark_a and_o imperfect_a way_n of_o revelation_n though_o suitable_a to_o our_o present_a state_n compare_v with_o what_o the_o saint_n shall_v have_v in_o heaven_n in_o this_o life_n the_o people_n of_o god_n see_v he_o as_o the_o spouse_n see_v she_o belove_v through_o the_o lattice_n cant._n 2.9_o or_o as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v 1_o cor._n 13.12_o through_o a_o glass_n that_o be_v dark_o and_o indeed_o it_o can_v be_v no_o otherwise_o because_o it_o be_v through_o a_o glass_n now_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v a_o glass_n in_o which_o great_a discovery_n be_v make_v of_o god_n the_o work_v of_o god_n also_o be_v another_o glass_n hold_v before_o our_o face_n continual_o in_o which_o we_o may_v see_v more_o of_o his_o excellency_n and_o perfection_n display_v but_o neither_o in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n nor_o in_o the_o work_v of_o god_n be_v god_n so_o clear_o discover_v to_o we_o as_o he_o shall_v be_v to_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n while_o we_o be_v in_o this_o world_n god_n make_v use_v of_o the_o ministry_n of_o man_n like_o ourselves_o to_o instruct_v we_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o himself_o and_o though_o they_o may_v do_v something_o towards_o the_o enlighten_v of_o our_o mind_n and_o the_o build_n up_o of_o our_o soul_n in_o the_o knowledge_n and_o love_n of_o god_n when_o assist_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n yet_o be_v it_o but_o little_o that_o they_o themselves_o know_v of_o god_n and_o therefore_o be_v it_o but_o little_o that_o they_o can_v communicate_v unto_o other_o so_o say_v the_o apostle_n and_o he_o put_v himself_o into_o the_o number_n 1_o cor._n 12.9_o we_o know_v but_o in_o part_n and_o therefore_o we_o prophesy_v but_o in_o part_n as_o if_o the_o apostle_n have_v say_v there_o be_v great_a and_o glorious_a thing_n to_o be_v know_v hereafter_o when_o we_o come_v to_o heaven_n but_o at_o present_a our_o shallow_a understanding_n can_v reach_v they_o all_o that_o we_o can_v do_v in_o our_o present_a state_n be_v to_o receive_v and_o take_v in_o a_o little_a knowledge_n of_o they_o to_o know_v in_o part_n and_o according_a to_o that_o knowledge_n which_o we_o have_v such_o be_v the_o knowledge_n we_o communicate_v unto_o other_o we_o know_v but_o in_o part_n and_o therefore_o we_o prophesy_v but_o in_o part_n this_o now_o be_v the_o present_a state_n of_o a_o christian_a and_o the_o high_a he_o can_v attain_v to_o in_o this_o world_n to_o know_v something_o of_o god_n to_o have_v some_o sight_n of_o the_o divine_a excellency_n and_o perfection_n but_o it_o be_v but_o mediate_o and_o but_o in_o part_n not_o immediate_o and_o clear_o as_o the_o saint_n shall_v do_v in_o heaven_n this_o be_v indeed_o according_a to_o their_o present_a capacity_n and_o according_a to_o their_o present_a necessity_n but_o not_o according_a to_o what_o shall_v be_v it_o be_v according_a to_o their_o present_a capacity_n that_o be_v according_a to_o what_o they_o can_v bear_v for_o shall_v god_n make_v immediate_a discovery_n of_o himself_o unto_o we_o this_o will_v sink_v and_o overwhelm_v our_o being_n and_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v up_o under_o they_o it_o be_v also_o suitable_a to_o the_o saint_n necessity_n for_o when_o a_o soul_n be_v beget_v again_o by_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n unto_o a_o lively_a hope_n of_o glory_n and_o immortality_n the_o build_n up_o of_o that_o soul_n in_o grace_n and_o holiness_n that_o it_o may_v be_v sit_v for_o the_o vision_n and_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n be_v to_o be_v carry_v on_o gradual_o in_o the_o use_n of_o mean_n and_o ordinance_n institute_v and_o appoint_v by_o god_n for_o that_o end_n and_o purpose_n but_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o building_n when_o that_o which_o be_v design_v thereby_o be_v accomplish_v and_o perfect_v the_o scaffold_n and_o other_o instrument_n that_o be_v make_v use_n of_o for_o the_o erect_n thereof_o be_v all_o take_v down_o and_o remove_v out_o of_o the_o way_n so_o be_v it_o here_o while_o believer_n be_v in_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n that_o be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o preparation_n for_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n means_n and_o ordinance_n be_v necessary_a but_o when_o they_o be_v come_v to_o heaven_n these_o thing_n be_v at_o a_o end_n prophesy_v and_o teach_v shall_v there_o cease_v as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v there_o be_v no_o use_n of_o they_o in_o heaven_n because_o believer_n be_v there_o come_v to_o their_o perfect_a state_n and_o god_n will_v there_o communicate_v himself_o to_o they_o immediate_o and_o clear_o in_o heaven_n god_n unvail_v himself_o to_o the_o saint_n display_v himself_o to_o they_o in_o his_o glory_n according_a to_o their_o ability_n to_o receive_v and_o bear_v it_o and_o that_o which_o add_v much_o to_o their_o happiness_n in_o this_o bless_a vision_n of_o god_n be_v this_o that_o there_o the_o understanding_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v enlarge_v and_o strengthen_v that_o they_o may_v be_v able_a to_o take_v in_o according_a to_o what_o a_o finite_a capacity_n can_v bear_v of_o the_o fruition_n of_o a_o infinite_a god_n in_o which_o vision_n and_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n they_o shall_v be_v spend_v a_o eternity_n with_o everlasting_a joy_n and_o delight_n second_o the_o saint_n vision_n of_o god_n in_o heaven_n will_v be_v transform_v not_o bare_o speculative_a or_o notional_a but_o influential_a and_o operative_a upon_o the_o mind_n and_o soul_n by_o see_v god_n we_o shall_v become_v like_o he_o it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o we_o here_o if_o a_o deform_a man_n look_v upon_o the_o
most_o beautiful_a person_n or_o object_n in_o the_o world_n yet_o be_v there_o no_o transform_a power_n come_v from_o they_o to_o work_v any_o alteration_n in_o the_o complexion_n of_o the_o beholder_n render_v he_o the_o more_o beautiful_a by_o the_o sight_n of_o those_o person_n or_o object_n he_o may_v carry_v away_o a_o idea_n of_o the_o beauty_n and_o comeliness_n of_o those_o person_n or_o object_n that_o he_o have_v behold_v in_o his_o mind_n which_o may_v delight_v his_o fancy_n in_o the_o thought_n of_o they_o but_o there_o be_v no_o alteration_n make_v in_o he_o but_o the_o same_o deformity_n and_o blemish_n remain_v still_o notwithstanding_o but_o it_o be_v otherwise_o in_o heaven_n the_o sight_n of_o the_o glorious_a and_o holy_a god_n make_v the_o saint_n that_o behold_v he_o to_o become_v like_a unto_o he_o in_o holiness_n and_o glory_n for_o so_o be_v the_o word_n of_o the_o belove_a apostle_n who_o lie_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o christ_n 1_o john_n 3.2_o we_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o he_o that_o be_v unto_o god_n and_o the_o ground_n or_o reason_n of_o it_o follow_v in_o the_o next_o word_n for_o we_o shall_v see_v he_o as_o he_o be_v it_o be_v true_a the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v like_a unto_o he_o while_o they_o be_v in_o this_o world_n but_o their_o likeness_n to_o god_n here_o and_o their_o likeness_n to_o he_o in_o heaven_n great_o differ_v the_o likeness_n that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n have_v unto_o god_n in_o this_o life_n be_v both_o a_o imperfect_a likeness_n and_o a_o grow_a likeness_n neither_o of_o which_o be_v the_o people_n of_o god_n capable_a of_o in_o heaven_n first_o the_o likeness_n they_o have_v to_o god_n here_o be_v a_o imperfect_a likeness_n in_o some_o thing_n they_o be_v like_a unto_o god_n and_o in_o other_o thing_n they_o be_v not_o wherein_o they_o be_v like_a unto_o god_n they_o be_v comely_a but_o wherein_o they_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o world_n they_o be_v deform_v and_o therefore_o uncomely_a it_o be_v the_o complaint_n of_o the_o church_n who_o christ_n call_v his_o love_n and_o his_o fair_a one_o that_o she_o be_v comely_a but_o yet_o she_o be_v black_a also_o cant._n 1.5_o i_o be_o black_a but_o comely_a she_o be_v comely_a with_o grace_n and_o there_o be_v her_o likeness_n unto_o christ_n and_o that_o make_v she_o so_o lovely_a but_o yet_o she_o be_v black_a with_o sin_n and_o there_o be_v her_o imperfection_n and_o deformity_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o we_o read_v cant._n 6.10_o that_o the_o church_n be_v say_v to_o look_v forth_o as_o the_o morning_n fair_a as_o the_o moon_n now_o the_o moon_n though_o she_o be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a luminary_n of_o heaven_n yet_o have_v she_o her_o spot_n and_o the_o morning-light_n be_v but_o small_a and_o imperfect_a unto_o a_o noon-day-brightness_n and_o therefore_o it_o increase_v more_o and_o more_o unto_o the_o perfect_a day_n thus_o it_o be_v with_o the_o best_a of_o god_n people_n here_o grace_n give_v they_o a_o likeness_n unto_o god_n but_o with_o the_o moon_n they_o have_v their_o spot_n sin_n and_o corruption_n still_o remain_v in_o they_o while_o they_o be_v in_o this_o world_n but_o now_o the_o saint_n likeness_n to_o god_n in_o heaven_n by_o the_o vision_n they_o have_v of_o he_o there_o it_o be_v such_o a_o likeness_n as_o exclude_v all_o sin_n and_o all_o imperfection_n they_o be_v so_o like_a unto_o god_n that_o they_o be_v nothing_o but_o what_o he_o be_v not_o as_o to_o his_o be_v and_o essence_n for_o that_o be_v incommunicable_a but_o in_o grace_n and_o holiness_n and_o so_o according_a to_o their_o capacity_n they_o partake_v of_o the_o divine_a nature_n itself_o and_o oh_o what_o a_o bless_a state_n will_v this_o be_v when_o we_o shall_v have_v nothing_o in_o we_o but_o what_o we_o partake_v of_o from_o god_n and_o wherein_o we_o shall_v be_v in_o every_o thing_n like_o unto_o he_o second_o that_o likeness_n the_o people_n of_o god_n have_v unto_o god_n here_o be_v a_o grow_a likeness_n that_o grace_n and_o holiness_n believer_n have_v in_o this_o life_n wherein_o consist_v their_o likeness_n unto_o god_n it_o be_v always_o grow_v and_o increase_v in_o they_o hence_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o the_o state_n of_o christian_n here_o be_v like_a unto_o newborn_a babe_n who_o be_v always_o desirous_a of_o the_o breast_n for_o their_o nourishment_n and_o growth_n 1_o pet._n 2.2_o as_o newborn_a babe_n that_o desire_v the_o sincere_a milk_n of_o the_o word_n that_o we_o may_v grow_v thereby_o no_o saint_n or_o servant_n of_o god_n ever_o attain_v to_o that_o degree_n of_o grace_n and_o holiness_n here_o but_o still_o there_o be_v something_o lack_v in_o his_o faith_n something_o defective_a in_o his_o love_n something_o want_v in_o his_o patience_n something_o that_o may_v be_v add_v to_o his_o heavenly-mindedness_a to_o his_o meekness_n to_o his_o humility_n and_o to_o all_o his_o other_o grace_n hence_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v so_o often_o command_v to_o add_v to_o their_o spiritual_a stature_n to_o increase_v with_o the_o increase_v of_o god_n to_o grow_v in_o grace_n and_o in_o the_o save_a knowledge_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n and_o to_o explain_v this_o truth_n no_o far_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n be_v full_a to_o this_o purpose_n 2_o cor._n spirit_n of_o just_a man_n be_v make_v perfect_a holiness_n be_v the_o advancement_n the_o elevation_n of_o the_o soul_n a_o high_a pitch_n of_o glory_n and_o excellency_n it_o be_v not_o capable_a of_o for_o holiness_n be_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n himself_o and_o therefore_o though_o god_n be_v say_v to_o be_v infinite_a in_o regard_n of_o his_o wisdom_n almighty_a in_o regard_n of_o his_o now_o in_o heaven_n the_o saint_n holiness_n shall_v be_v in_o the_o high_a degree_n in_o the_o great_a eminency_n and_o perfection_n and_o because_o herein_o they_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o god_n set_v before_o he_o and_o who_o may_v rejoice_v if_o he_o may_v not_o he_o have_v the_o great_a the_o almighty_a god_n for_o his_o shield_n and_o protection_n here_o and_o to_o be_v his_o exceed_a heaven_n be_v by_o the_o apostle_n call_v a_o excessive_a weight_n of_o glory_n now_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a for_o a_o weak_a head_n to_o bear_v a_o excessive_a weight_n of_o glory_n what_o the_o saint_n shall_v there_o see_v with_o their_o bodily_a eye_n be_v so_o excellent_a and_o glorious_a that_o it_o will_v now_o sink_v and_o overwhelm_v their_o weak_a body_n to_o behold_v it_o those_o ravish_a transport_v of_o joy_n and_o delight_n which_o glorify_a soul_n shall_v have_v in_o the_o vision_n of_o god_n will_v crack_v yea_o break_v a_o weak_a vessel_n into_o piece_n the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n therefore_o must_v be_v make_v strong_a to_o bear_v the_o glory_n of_o that_o place_n otherwise_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o object_n will_v destroy_v the_o faculty_n when_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o firmament_n shine_v in_o its_o full_a strength_n the_o glory_n of_o it_o be_v so_o great_a that_o the_o strong_a eye_n be_v not_o able_a to_o behold_v it_o but_o be_v soon_o overcome_v by_o its_o dazzle_a brightness_n o_o how_o much_o more_o unable_a than_o be_v any_o mortal_a eye_n to_o see_v god_n and_o to_o behold_v his_o infinite_a glory_n the_o scripture_n therefore_o tell_v we_o he_o dwell_v in_o light_n that_o be_v unapproachable_a 1_o tim._n 6.16_o and_o say_v the_o apostle_n 1_o cor._n 15._o and_o 50._o flesh_n and_o blood_n can_v inherit_v the_o it_o can_v enter_v into_o glory_n for_o otherwise_o it_o be_v not_o able_a to_o behold_v god_n and_o to_o enjoy_v the_o glory_n and_o happiness_n of_o heaven_n moreover_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n must_v endure_v to_o all_o eternity_n in_o heaven_n and_o that_o without_o reparation_n by_o meat_n or_o drink_n or_o sleep_v doubtless_o therefore_o their_o body_n at_o the_o resurrection_n enter_v into_o a_o place_n of_o so_o great_a glory_n and_o happiness_n as_o heaven_n be_v shall_v be_v raise_v to_o a_o high_a and_o eminent_a degree_n of_o power_n and_o strength_n that_o they_o may_v be_v able_a to_o bear_v that_o weight_n of_o glory_n that_o shall_v then_o be_v put_v upon_o they_o four_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n shall_v be_v beautiful_a and_o glorious_a the_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v very_o clear_a 1_o cor._n 15.33_o speak_v of_o the_o body_n and_o that_o disgrace_n that_o it_o be_v bring_v under_o when_o throw_v into_o the_o grave_a it_o be_v sow_o say_v he_o in_o dishonour_n this_o indeed_o be_v but_o poor_a comfort_n to_o a_o believer_n to_o think_v that_o his_o body_n shall_v be_v vilify_v and_o disgrace_v in_o the_o grave_a where_o it_o shall_v turn_v to_o corruption_n and_o rottenness_n but_o as_o if_o the_o apostle_n have_v say_v let_v not_o this_o trouble_n you_o for_o there_o will_v be_v a_o time_n when_o the_o body_n shall_v have_v a_o bless_a resurrection_n from_o that_o contempt_n and_o disgrace_n that_o it_o now_o suffer_v under_o for_o though_o it_o be_v sow_o in_o dishonour_n yet_o it_o shall_v be_v raise_v in_o glory_n and_o become_v a_o far_o more_o glorious_a and_o beautiful_a body_n than_o ever_o it_o be_v here_o on_o earth_n some_o glory_n and_o majesty_n there_o be_v put_v upon_o the_o body_n of_o man_n now_o above_o the_o body_n of_o all_o other_o creature_n in_o respect_n whereof_o our_o body_n be_v say_v to_o be_v god_n workmanship_n thy_o hand_n have_v make_v i_o and_o fashion_v jesus_n christ_n for_o god_n acceptation_n of_o they_o and_o for_o our_o happiness_n and_o glorification_n after_o they_o all_o that_o we_o do_v of_o ourselves_o show_v we_o to_o be_v sinful_a servant_n and_o all_o that_o we_o do_v when_o assist_v by_o the_o grace_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n make_v we_o still_o to_o be_v but_o unprofitable_a servant_n because_o we_o have_v do_v no_o more_o wicked_a and_o carnal_a heart_n one_o be_v a_o clear_a and_o constant_a vision_n of_o the_o great_a and_o bless_a god_n and_o the_o other_o be_v a_o unconceivable_a entireness_n of_o communion_n and_o fellowship_n with_o he_o now_o of_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n these_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o as_o unboly_n person_n be_v unacquainted_a with_o so_o of_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n sinner_n can_v bear_v nothing_o be_v more_o terrible_a to_o a_o guilty_a sinner_n than_o the_o sight_n of_o a_o righteous_a and_o holy_a god_n the_o scripture_n acquaint_v we_o that_o many_o of_o god_n own_o people_n have_v have_v dreadful_a apprehension_n of_o god_n upon_o some_o though_o but_o restrain_v discovery_n that_o he_o have_v be_v please_v to_o make_v of_o himself_o unto_o they_o none_o in_o heaven_n but_o god_n and_o that_o there_o be_v none_o on_o earth_n that_o he_o desire_v in_o comparison_n of_o he_o and_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o himself_o and_o other_o believer_n say_v their_o fellowship_n be_v with_o the_o father_n and_o with_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n and_o o_o how_o sweet_a and_o delightful_a be_v those_o intercourse_n that_o pass_v between_o god_n and_o holy_a soul_n in_o the_o duty_n of_o his_o worship_n and_o service_n o_o what_o bless_a exchange_n of_o love_n for_o love_n what_o return_v of_o obedience_n and_o praise_n for_o grace_n and_o mercy_n receive_v which_o be_v the_o sweetness_n of_o every_o duty_n and_o that_o which_o powerful_o draw_v and_o engage_v holy_a soul_n to_o the_o daily_a performance_n of_o they_o and_o in_o heaven_n in_o self_n the_o fullness_n and_o perfection_n of_o the_o saint_n happiness_n be_v that_o there_o they_o shall_v be_v for_o ever_o with_o the_o lord_n now_o these_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a enjoyment_n wicked_a man_n be_v not_o only_o unsuitable_a to_o but_o they_o be_v thing_n which_o they_o also_o hate_v they_o be_v ever_o stranger_n to_o they_o here_o on_o earth_n and_o how_o then_o shall_v they_o be_v fit_a for_o they_o in_o heaven_n certain_o for_o wicked_a man_n to_o be_v tie_v up_o to_o such_o spirituality_n as_o these_o will_v make_v heaven_n itself_o but_o a_o uncomfortable_a place_n to_o they_o but_o though_o wicked_a man_n be_v neither_o fit_v for_o the_o work_n nor_o suit_v to_o the_o reward_n of_o heaven_n yet_o be_v there_o both_o a_o work_n and_o a_o reward_n in_o heaven_n that_o remain_v to_o be_v perform_v and_o enjoy_v by_o the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o heaven_n be_v a_o place_n of_o rest_n ease_n and_o refreshment_n be_v the_o common_a and_o receive_a notion_n that_o all_o man_n have_v of_o it_o but_o that_o be_v not_o all_o that_o the_o happiness_n of_o heaven_n be_v make_v up_o of_o for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o a_o place_n of_o rest_n but_o it_o be_v also_o a_o place_n
of_o work_v it_o be_v true_a the_o work_n there_o be_v not_o toilsome_a and_o laborious_a but_o sweet_a and_o pleasant_a and_o that_o make_v the_o saint_n delightful_o spend_v a_o eternity_n therein_o in_o heaven_n therefore_o the_o saint_n be_v to_o perform_v a_o eternal_a work_n as_o they_o be_v there_o to_o enjoy_v a_o eternal_a reward_n both_o go_v to_o the_o make_v up_o the_o happiness_n of_o heaven_n first_o in_o heaven_n there_o be_v a_o eternal_a work_n for_o the_o saint_n to_o be_v employ_v in_o much_o have_v be_v say_v concern_v that_o happiness_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v enjoy_v in_o heaven_n and_o more_o be_v there_o of_o sweetness_n and_o excellency_n in_o it_o than_o word_n can_v express_v but_o yet_o we_o be_v not_o so_o to_o conceive_v of_o the_o happiness_n thereof_o as_o some_o ignorant_a person_n do_v gross_o imagine_v and_o wish_v to_o themselves_o as_o if_o heaven_n be_v a_o place_n where_o the_o bless_a inhabitant_n thereof_o be_v altogether_o unactive_a as_o attain_v to_o this_o frame_n of_o spirit_n for_o i_o believe_v there_o be_v a_o great_a number_n of_o holy_a soul_n that_o daily_o go_v to_o heaven_n without_o they_o but_o yet_o be_v it_o a_o state_n that_o have_v be_v attain_v by_o some_o and_o may_v be_v attain_v still_o by_o other_o and_o true_o such_o a_o heaven_n upon_o earth_n as_o be_v hereby_o enjoy_v by_o such_o holy_a soul_n shall_v be_v motive_n sufficient_a to_o excite_v and_o provoke_v christian_n to_o a_o diligent_a pursuit_n hereof_o the_o effect_n whereof_o be_v joy_n unspeakable_a and_o glorious_a to_o conclude_v this_o whole_a discourse_n i_o have_v be_v long_o in_o treat_v concern_v the_o glorious_a state_n of_o the_o saint_n happiness_n in_o heaven_n and_o much_o large_a than_o at_o first_o i_o intend_v true_a it_o be_v not_o a_o un-inhabited_n place_n but_o yet_o it_o be_v a_o place_n a_o region_n or_o country_n of_o spirit_n who_o nature_n and_o being_n as_o also_o who_o way_n of_o live_v we_o be_v unacquainted_a withal_o the_o language_n they_o speak_v be_v foreign_a and_o strange_a to_o we_o and_o such_o as_o we_o can_v understand_v in_o this_o state_n of_o mortality_n and_o though_o there_o heavenly_a country_n yet_o be_v there_o none_o among_o the_o innumerable_a multitude_n of_o those_o heavenly_a inhabitant_n that_o ever_o return_v to_o take_v up_o their_o dwell_n here_o on_o earth_n again_o to_o give_v we_o a_o exact_a account_n of_o that_o most_o glorious_a and_o blissful_a place_n it_o be_v true_a the_o bless_a apostle_n st._n paul_n be_v herein_o privilege_v above_o all_o man_n that_o ever_o live_v be_v take_v up_o into_o heaven_n by_o extraordinary_a favour_n for_o a_o time_n and_o vouchsafe_v some_o little_a more_o knowledge_n of_o that_o heavenly_a place_n than_o what_o we_o poor_a mortal_n know_v by_o what_o he_o there_o hear_v and_o see_v which_o when_o he_o return_v to_o earth_n again_o himself_o tell_v we_o the_o happiness_n thereof_o be_v so_o great_a divine_a grace_n and_o favour_n admit_v among_o those_o heavenly_a inhabitant_n can_v not_o describe_v to_o we_o what_o heaven_n be_v well_o may_v we_o be_v at_o a_o loss_n in_o give_v a_o description_n thereof_o who_o be_v never_o there_o when_o we_o attempt_v to_o say_v all_o we_o can_v concern_v heaven_n alas_o it_o be_v but_o like_o the_o lisp_n and_o stammer_n of_o a_o child_n
